I build guitar effects pedals for a hobby.
I've been buying parts from Bitsbox for about a year and have to say that these guys have been hugely important to that.
Started out buying their TS808 clone kit and from there went on to build my own parts lists for other projects.
They have just about everything I've ever needed. With a few rare exceptions.
Their prices are incredibly fair, and being able to order such low cost parts with no MOQ is a god send for a hobbyist like me.
Parts come clearly labelled and well packaged.
Their website is extrmely well layed out and simple to use.
Can't really think of how they could do anything better for what I need.

Cannot thank them enough for turning a curious dabbling into a full blown mega hobby.
Shopping on their site and building a BOM for a project is for me as much part of the fun as getting the parts and building the end product.

A fantastic components supplier that I plan to use again. I made a small (~£12) order on Friday (for a few audio connectors). It was marked as dispatched within the hour and appeared through my letterbox on Saturday morning. The cheap, flat-rate 1st class post service (regardless of order size) is a great idea.

I'm also pleased to say the quality of the connectors I received is very high. They appear to be the same as those offered by RS (another favourite of mine); but for half the price. While Bitsbox's range is very limited by comparison, they're now definitely one of my go-to suppliers for components.

The only constructive criticism I have is the way their product listing interface works. You have to enter a quantity next to each item in the category listing, then scroll to the top or bottom of the page to actually add them to your basket. This feels quite awkward. It would be useful to also have the option of an 'Add To Basket' button next to each item/quantity in the list, allowing quick additions to the basket without scrolling (or more importantly, going to the basket page each time).

Bitsbox are a superb electronics store. They stock a wide-range of products, and work hard to acquire anything that they do not currently stock. Usually, my requested items are in by the following week. Everything is well priced, and delivery is efficient, with the products well packaged. Whenever I have had to contact the store, the staff have been a joy to talk to, responding within a day or so. Bitsbox is consequently the first store I recommend to any electronics hobbiest who requires a supplier, they won’t get a better service in the UK.

On my 5th order from bitsbox and still impressed how they get it right first time, every time. Super fast delivery and brilliant range of what I need.
Great company to deal with

I've been using bitsbox on and off for the last two years or so. Everything is very neatly packed with a remarkable attention to detail, all products are exactly as described and well priced. Unlike some of the other suppliers in the UK, it's still possible to get a small quantity of something which means I'm finally not wading in surplus parts or completely broke. Everything seems to arrive the next day. Genuinely one of the best mail order services there is in the UK.

I've ordered a lot of things from these guys over the last few months. Often orders with lots of different quantities of things, and large total numbers of items. Every time I've received super fast delivery - every time next working day after my order. Everything comes clearly labelled and well packaged. And every order has been perfectly accurate.
The website's also significantly easier to use than those of their competitors, making finding what you need a breeze.

Bitbox are cheap, reliable, fast, and easy to use. I couldn't really ask for much more. Highly recommended.

I ordered a bunch of push buttons for a project I'm working on. If I'd gone to [external reference] I'd have been £25 easily - I got them for £7 from bitsbox and they arrived the very next day. Excellent no nonsense service, I would recommend them to anyone.

I needed to buy two capacitors to repair my Panasonic recorder. They cost about 30p each but I couldn't buy locally. I tried the bigger companies but there was minimum order then postage which made it very expensive. Other companies didn't have the capacitance value I needed, which seems to be a bit unusual. Then I found Bitsbox, and they had the bits I needed and an excellent range of components and other stuff. They still send small items by post which keeps the cost down. I ordered in the afternoon and it arrived next day. I recommend them.
