Genuinely outstanding service!
Bought a few items today at the Basingstoke store and really appreciated the genuine help and useful advice provided by Nion and Imy. They were both keen to understand our needs before offering valuable and personal advice. Rare to get such genuine interest and advice in stores these days and coupled with very strong product knowledge too! Thanks both - much appreciated.

Superb customer service
I was served by Dan who was an extremely knowledgeable chap and gave me really detailed advice on the waterproof rating for each of the rain coats in the store. This allowed me to make an informed choice and I am really happy with my purchase.

Above and beyond
Honestly … transformed my opinion of shopping. The staff at Basingstoke Blacks were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and a joy to be around. Thank you Nion, Dan and Jack and the lovely girl who greeted us and gave us just the help we needed without our even asking.
Above and beyond. I hope the management treasure staff like you because you rarely come across this treatment these days.

Recently visited the Basingstoke branch where Nion kindly helped me pick a pair of walking boots. I really valued being able to try on the right fitting pair in store whilst getting sound advice on waterproofing. Really swift, friendly and diligent service. Many thanks to Nion and his colleagues!

Had a great experience at Blacks
Had a great experience at Blacks, I was looking for some new boots and John was really helpful and patient. There was also a great selection of waterproofs and other hiking equipment.

Fabulous service !
Kerri was so very patient and knowledgable when I was on the hunt for a waterproof, wide walking shoe. She made it a very relaxing experience (even with 3 children in tow!).

I had an online buy that didn't fit
I had an online buy that didn't fit. I took it back to Black's in Basingstoke and Jack dealt with it swiftly. Dan found me the correct size which I tried on and purchased. In and out in minutes!
