Received a sale flyer in the mail went…False advertising

Received a sale flyer in the mail went online and prices were $50 more. Called them to find out why and was told the sale didn't start until the next day and that if there was any problem ordering online I could call customer service and that they would take care of it for me at the sale price. Today prices online we're not reflective of the sale so I called customer service. Now I'm told I cannot get it for that price unless I pick it up in the store. Nowhere on the flyer does it say that it was only for specific items and nowhere on the flyer does it say that the items had to be picked up and could not be shipped. False advertising! Boscovs just lost a customer

Disrespectful Manager

I was just at the boscovs outlet in Reading. I was so upset to see how the store mamsger Corey Stuckey was speaking to a young man at the register. In ftont of many customers he was yelling and down grading this young man. Orher employees heard the comotion and came to help the young man. Corey just walked away like he was used to treating his employees in this manner. I hand over 400.00 in items to purchase and just walked out of the store. The other customers were upset and spoke up but corey just walked away. No appology to the young man. I am writing to let you know that managers like corey do nit belong at Boscovs...Albert Boscovs would not stand for that tupe of behavior

on line shopping

I created an account a while back. Maybe I haven't used it in a while but that is No reason for this site to continually bump me off with my personal email and p.w. Oh yeah, they sent me a "reset" but none of the "RESET YOUR P.W." WORKED.. I will not even BOTHER to call.
They're not worth my money nor my time.. How RIDICULOUS.
I think I'll also cancel their CREDIT CARD!

Customer service called me about a…

Customer service called me about a charge from February stated I received item but it did not post to my CC.When I did research and called them with transaction number and told them it was paid on cc,they tried to say it did not.Even called cc company to confirm .I see why they are still in business they charge/get you to pay for items two or three times.Been a customer for around 6-7 years,never again.Its time the IRS stepped in on their a--.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM BOSCOV's

I received my order of Womens Gloria Vanderbilt Claudette Ankle Boots. I am extremely disappointed and will never order from Boscov's again.
The shipping box I received the shoe box in was undamaged, but the shoe box inside was destroyed. There was no packing materials around the shoe box. There was no packing material at all in the shoe box.Nothing inside of the shoes either. Absolutely nothing. Only a pair of used, worn, beat up shoes. As if they came directly off of someone's feet. The bottom of the shoes are worn and there is dirt on the soles of the shoes and some kind of pet hair inside the shoe. Disgusting.
I was under the impression I was ordering brand new shoes. I thought Boscov's was a reputable department store. I might as well have ordered used shoes off of Craigslist.
Never again.

Extremely poor corporate customer service

Extremely poor, actually non-existent, customer service from thecorporate Customer Service Dep't in Reading, PA. I bought defective Gold Toe men's slippers at the store in York, PA, They fell apart because there was so little seam allowance that most of the stitches holding the sole onto the uppers missed or pulled out. I was treated rudely at the store, and was clearly lied to at the store so I sent a letter, by post, to the main Cus. Svce. Dep't in Reading on Jan. 3rd., today is Feb. 4th. I included all of my contact information. I have not received even as much as an acknowledgement from Boscov's. I used to shop there often; I will never go back. I can't believe that they did not respond in any way to a written complaint. No wonder the "brick and mortar" stores are failing!

What can I say about Boscov's…

What can I say about Boscov's experience it's great! Greatest asset is their customer service Associates, delightful and pleasant all the time. Very calming atmosphere for shoppers. Fashion Galore, updated trends. I personally have met some customer Associates who are beyond delightful very very nice people. They have coupons and sales all the time, will accommodate you if you have a coupons. I have great times, when I shop at Boscov's

Boscov's is a terrible company

Boscov's is a terrible company. I purchased something on 05/06/18, paid my balance in full on 06/06/18 and they charged me a late fee even though I paid a month after my purchase because they give you less than a month to pay. Then not realizing there was a late fee on my account, they ended up charging me late fees on late fees and would only waive one fee. They outsource their collections which sound like scam artists when they call and asked for personal information before they will share what company they were calling about which made this problem last even longer. I paid the $56 late fees and closed my account. I will never spend another penny at boscov. Their loss!

The letter I received today in the mail…

The letter I received today in the mail mainly concerning the BOSCOV'S in Cumberland Mall, Vineland, NJ from the director at BOSCOV'S Corporate concerning ADA issues is BS!. It's so laced with lies hoping I will go away, well, I am not going away!. BOSCOV'S in Vineland NJ is not ADA compliant as other BOSCOV'S also are not although some have complied better then others.
BOSCOV'S doesnt care bottom line!. I dont know about anyone else but I wont shop in another BOSCOV'S that doesnt care about ALL human beings!.

Fun shopping at great prices.

The employees are always so friendly, they make you feel "at home." Their prices, especialy sales, are not to be beat. It truly is cheaper to shop Boscovs for clothes rather than Goodwill AND why pay more for used clothing when you can buy new for less! I am a serious bargain shopper. I spend hours researching items online before making a purchase, so you can trust me on this.

Shipping was slow (took about 2 weeks)…

Shipping was slow (took about 2 weeks) and they forgot to include my 7-pc free gift with purchase. I sent them an email on Mar 9th and just contacted them on the phone and was told that the item is on hold at UPS/FEDEX and may take 7-10 business days for them to give me an answer!!! This is my first time buying from Boscov and will also be my last.

Nope

First time I ordered on their site. They placed several holds on my funds and after several emails saying my order was being processed, days later I got an email saying the entire order was cancelled due to no stock. Needless to say, the fund holds are still showing up on my paypal account. I would not recommend this company.

Very upsetting to have heard wonderful …

Very upsetting to have heard wonderful comments from friends who shop Boscov's. My first, and only, time shopping there was a dreadful experience. The customer service was extremely rude, the store was closing and they harassed my friend and I to get out of the store (Butler, PA), and refused to ring out my friend's items because it was 9:00 pm. Who has ever even heard of such a thing. I called Jim Boscov, who seemed authentically apologetic, and he said he would send me something in the mail to make up for the terrible experience we had. That was 2 months ago! Never saw anything. I just think you should honor your customers, because you'd like them to be return customers. On the upside: the clothes were wonderful, and my daughter loved her purchases. Not sure if I will go back since I have read many, many reviews of dissatisfied customers. Not sure if it is worth the hassle!

WHERE IS THE "MINUS ONE STAR"?

I can't find a minus 1 star so here it is... MINUS ONE STAR.
Between Nov-Dec 2016, I bought over $350.00 worth of women's clothing for myself-I hardly ever get to shop and I was gifted so I ran to my favorite Boscov's in Moorestown.
Many of the items I didnt get to wear due to our unusually warmer winter. However I washed everything and after a month or two began wearing them. Not keeping my receipt, or not being able to find it (YET),knowing how reliable Boscov's quality USED TO BE, I can not return them. My experience:
**Sweaters Pull over-long sleeved-The front left upper torso's wore see-through thin after 2 usese-yes-I washed and dried them by hand carefully even though the care instructions said ok to wash on gentle.
**Fleece Vest zipper up and a blue robe- SHED-SHED-SHED, all over whatever I wore it with and all over my entire seatbelt-UNACCEPTABLE.
**Button up deep royal blue over sweater-oh my gosh, after 2 hand wash and dries, and one aif fluff tumble dry, it covered my ENTIRE white turtle neck pullover I wore under it with blue LINT-MICRO LINT I should say.. I took the sweater off at an appoitment I had and was completely humiliated.
Associates are cold and stiff. The shoe department is unacceptable and needs to be spread out and use a number system especially during busy shopping seaons and sales.
NO WONDER YOUR PRICES LOOK SO GOOD AND I LOST A LOT OF MONEY AND CAN NOT WEAR THE CLOTHES-MOST ALL OF THEM ANYWAY.
Boscov's will NEVER see me in ANY of their stores again. May not hurt your pocket book but it will help the next sales venue I do choose to shop at.
SHAME ON YOU BOSCOV'S.
WHERE ARE THESE CLOTHES COMING FROM?
EVEN IF YOU GUYS NEVER READ THIS, I AM SO GLAD I FOUND I AM NOT ALONE IN THE HORRIBLE CHANGE IN THE BOSCOV BRAND AND IT'S SIGNIFACANT DOWNFALL in quality and customer service.
WE ALL WORK TOO HARD SO PLEASE STOP RIPPING US OFF.
and-***THE TOY DEPARTMENT DURING 2016 CHRISTMAS-The gentleman at checkout needs to retire and I'm close to his age. I spent over $400 for all of my grandchildren and he was rude, a bit flustered that I had so many items and he insisted I gave him the wrong amount at paying until another customer in line pointed out HIS error.
Yes, it took me this long to write because I am a forgiving person. I try to see the good but after reading all of these reviews my frustration surfaced regarding this matter. My caps are not yelling, they are meant to EMPHASIZE. AND-The clothing tags are sown with cheap nylon thread that pokes at the back of my neck on almost every item. GET WITH IT-Mr. BOSCOV WOULD BE FLIPPING HIS LID GOD REST HIS SOUL.
I hope you bring back the high standards our recent Mr. Boscov always upheld if not, I hope all of your stores close.

I made an online purchase from Bosc …

I made an online purchase from Boscov"s and received the worst customer service ever. My item was delivered with half of the contents missing. I phoned customer service immediately and also sent two e-mails asking to have the missing items shipped to me. I have received no response to my e-mails and was told by the representative that maybe they can take the missing items from a box at the store and ship them to me. I have not heard or received them or any explanation. I would return the item except for the fact that I was told I would have to pay for return shipping. Worst experience ever! Shame on you Boscov's.
