Horrible lawyer called Caroline Sugrue. She was rude, antagonising, did not read or adhere to the divorce court order in trying to extract her fees from the settlement first which would have caused her other instructred client to lose her home.

I had to get another external senior partner to correct her as she wouldn’t take from me that she was wrong. She declined to give a fee breakdown until I got said partner to tell her she should. At the very end she wouldn’t transfer my equity unless I sent her fees. If I am paying you fees I expect a breakdown and if I am paying you fees I am your client! This was on a conveyance on a divorce that I had to pay half the fees for their main client my ex wife. Either way I paid fees to your firm this review stands!

Yes extortion again! I sent the fees and I will be complaining to the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA) about this appalling conduct!

I recently used Shauna Everitt at BP Collins to help me with a legal matter. She was very courteous and attentive and addressed all my concerns. The advice she provided was detailed and well explained. I was made fully aware of costs involved at each step and the invoice costs were fully itemised. I used Mike Elliott for a dispute I had with a contractor. The service was excellent. Mike was really good at both marshalling the arguments for my case and taking the emotion out of it so that we put a clear and logical position to the other side. They quickly settled without me needing to commence full legal proceedings. I would fully recommend to anyone in a similar position to use Mike.

We recently had cause to need some dispute resolution advise and used Kishen Bhimsingh to assist us.
He was fair without judgement, and did his very best to minimise our penalties. This was a completely new area to him and us, and his research and coherence was exemplary. Emotionally he also helped to keep us sane by meeting with us regularly and helping us overcome this issue. Kishen Bhimsingh was completely helpful when I needed to understand which parts of the building I live in are demised and which not, and what the demise entailed. Before his research I didn’t know if I could apply to the landlord for help with reconstructing the two balconies which were flooding into his shop. I’m in charge of the common spaces for four flats - two of them with a separate landlord and Kishen helped me clear up what the flat owners are responsible for and what the landlord should cover. After my consultation with him I felt more confident about my rights and the landlord’s. Consequently I’ve had a much better relationship with the landlord.
Kishen also advised that we set up a company to manage the entrance, stairs and landings which need paintwork and new carpet from time to time and where we have heat sensitive lighting and radio operated fire alarms. This I have not yet done.
Thanks too for refiling documents which had been wrongly filed under the name of a property I didn’t buy due to gazumping.

Buying first house is a daunting experience. We were glad to have Arash and team behind us to fight all the legal corners for us. Of note, I never had to chase them for anything. The whole experience was prompt, professional and cordial. Thank you.

I had a poor experience with B P Collins. I contacted them about a seemingly simple employment contract. While the solicitor was professional, they were unnecessarily complex and conservative.

The simple discussion turned into a months long unnecessary negotiation between parties which only benefitted B P Collins, who booked >£1k in fees despite never actually editing the document or helping me resolve the matter.

I ultimately went to another law firm (cripps.co.uk) who resolved the matter in a week at half the cost of BP Collins.

I would not recommend BP Collins for employment matters.

We have recently used the services of BP Collins to act in a legal matter beyond our expertise. The Solicitor handling the matter Rajiv Malhotra provided excellent advice and made a court application for an order that was required and was able to do so judiciously and without the need for attendance. He kept us informed throughout.
In the past when clients of this Firm require advice in areas of law which we do not practice we recommend them to instruct BP Collins because we find that they are able to assist in most cases and long established clients of this Firm are invariably pleased with the outcome.
