Fantastic service from Frank R ⭐️from looking at a new car, test drive and right through to purchase and collection. No pressure, knowledgeable, responsive to queries and went the extra mile on sorting insurance and Bluelink connection. What a star!
Only (minor) issues were that the car was dusty inside and windows smeared on collection, plus fading sun spots on the front window struts 😞 Only discovered later in the day. Parking on the site is an absolute NIGHTMARE!!!! Please, Brayleys, clear some of your mounting stock (or move back to the wonderful central St Albans site?).

EV 12v battery flat, car just died
Car broke down as the 12v battery had discharged and was not charging whilst driving or whilst the car was charging. I had recently been serviced and my car was covered under this service by the AA. I was recovered on the Friday, in just over an hour where they swapped the 12V battery and followed me to Welham Green ( just got there before the new battery died) by the AA. Car was then fixed quickly, under warranty with no cost. I received a hire car on the Monday and notification my car was repaired on Tuesday. Good comms, speedy repair and a hire car I only drove back to the dealership in to collect my vehicle. Great service thanks.

The service was fantastic as always. Very friendly and helpful staff in the Service Team. I also got a great price for a service and MOT agreement for 3 years.

Great Experience with Service at Brayley Hyundai St Albans
I recently had my car serviced with Brayley Hyundai St Albans and wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience.
Alongside completing the service, your team resolved two ongoing issues with the vehicle. The rear side door had not been retracting properly, which meant the handle would sometimes remain extended and prevent the car from locking. This has now been fixed and is working perfectly. You also repaired the rear passenger-side heated seat, which had not been functioning since a previous repair carried out by the garage we originally purchased the car from. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to take the car back to address the issue, so we are especially grateful that your team was able to diagnose and resolve it.
I would particularly like to highlight Michelle Bland, who was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful throughout the process. She kept us well informed at every stage and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Michelle also went out of her way to help us obtain a quote for spare parts from a colleague, who was equally pleasant and helpful.
Overall, we are very satisfied with the service provided and truly appreciate the care, efficiency, and customer service demonstrated by your team. Thank you once again.

Helpful and knowledgeable sales person…
Helpful and knowledgeable sales person at St Albans. Lovely showroom and nothing too much trouble. Went to a different Hyundai dealership to look at the colour I wanted which they had in stock but chose to go back to Brayleys St Albans to order due to Sales person Lewis having been so helpful.

Really bad rude customer service
Really bad rude customer service. Made to feel a nuisance and that I was causing irritation. No phone response. Waiting for 2 hours which was unnecessary.
Car left dirty . No clean No valet.
Really poor. Wouldn't use them. Nick bad attitude.

Being made to feel like a nuisance and experiencing a long wait is not acceptable, and I completely understand how frustrating that must have been. This is not the level of service we expect to provide, and I apologise that this was your experience on the day.
I’m also sorry to hear about the difficulty in getting through by phone, as well as the lack of communication during your visit. We have recently made changes to our phone system to improve response times, and we continue to review our processes to ensure customers are kept informed and looked after.
In relation to the interaction you’ve described, the individual you dealt with was covering the role on a temporary basis. That said, this does not excuse the experience you’ve had, and I’m sorry that the level of service fell short. We now have a permanent member of the team in place to ensure a more consistent and professional experience moving forward.
Regarding the vehicle clean, we have recently stopped including a wash and valet as part of our service process as part of wider efforts to reduce water usage, chemical consumption and congestion on site. We do understand that this is a change from what customers were used to previously, and I’m sorry that this added to your disappointment.
I would really welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand what happened and see how we can put things right. Please feel free to contact me at your convenience.

Disappointing
Disappointing. Explained car was making ticking noise when I booking it in, but zero feedback when I picked it up, and to be fair it could just be a Hyundai problem. Much preferred the Honda Jazz hybrid loan car tbh. As well, I stupidly thought it would at least be washed before I picked it up, but nope, not part of the service. Shame.

I’m particularly concerned to hear that there was no feedback provided regarding the ticking noise you reported when booking the vehicle in. Even if no fault was identified, this should always be clearly communicated at collection, so you’re not left uncertain. I’ll raise this with the team to ensure better communication in these situations going forward.

As part of our sustainability initiative, we’ve removed the traditional wash and vac that used to accompany a service or MOT as part of our commitment to a more environmentally responsible approach. In place of each wash and vac, we now partner with Ecologi to plant a tree instead. It’s a small change, but one that supports a wider environmental commitment. We appreciate your feedback and hope the quality of your service met expectations.
Not as good as in previous location.
New location is difficult to get to and park compared to the previous location. Car no longer washed as part of the service. Service seemed OK but main driver seemed to be to push for additional spend to drive service cost up. Really difficult to get timely service slots, not very flexible at all. Went back there primarily due to having a service contract in place which expires soon.

Brayley’s Hyundai successfully…
Brayley’s Hyundai successfully completed the repair on my cars hooter system in time for me to get the MoT pass which was booked for the following day.
That I had to wait 3 weeks for a workshop appt and a nail biting last 24 hrs while the replacement parts were being ordered caused me considerable inconvenience and stress as my car was off the road with no MoT all that time.
The car can now be returned to Hyundai finance with the obligatory MoT and Road Tax.

Waiting over an hour to be seen is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and I completely understand how frustrating that must have been, particularly when visiting with the intention of purchasing a vehicle.
We have been experiencing exceptionally high levels of demand recently, which may explain the delay on the day, however we should always manage expectations and keep customers informed, so I apologise that this was not handled better.
If you hadn’t already booked an appointment, we would always recommend doing so where possible, as it allows us to ensure a member of the team is available to assist you promptly. That said, even without an appointment, you should still expect a reasonable level of service and waiting time.
I understand from your comments that you may have since gone on to purchase a vehicle with us, and if so, I’d like to thank you for your business despite the initial experience. I hope that the remainder of your journey with us reflected a much higher standard.

New car purchased - Lewis assisted us from start to finish, very professional, communication was good and Lewis went through in great detail all features of the car,
he made sure we were happy with everything before we drove away.
