The staff are always really helpful and able to give better advice than big chains, and give a Blue Light discount.

I like Brewers. The shop is well stocked with good variety / quality and more online. click and collect is great - often there ahead of planned delivery date /time. Generally competitive prices especially as so local. Staff in shop generally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Amazing on phone service for my order. 10 minutes working out my order and my items were ready all mixed to specific required colours for 3rd party pick up 1 hour later! Fabulous !

Good price for fence paint on offer .the sales person carried the items to my car very helpfull.
On another note have tried the albany gloss paint and would highly recommend above branded companies. I wouldn't use another brand thankyou

As a customer for many years and experiencing excellent local store and delivery service, I was very disappointed when today, for the first time, I ordered my paint using Brewers website because I couldn’t get to my local store.
I entered the branch name as requested and checked the stock situation so to all appearances I was buying from my local store and getting my paint delivered to my home as usual.
But after I had paid by card the screen stated that it would arrive next day by national carrier.
Not only were they bypassing my local store which already has a van and driver, but also paying FedEx to deliver long distance with consequent extra CO2 emissions. This company needs to think about doing better to help the environment and I am very disappointed with my experience as I was given no option and, to my mind, misled.
I tried to cancel the order as soon as I realised what was happening but I was told this was not possible.
Ironically, I could have used my Toolstation account to get free next day delivery and pay £2.60 less but chose to pay more thinking I was shopping locally to support my nearby Brewers store and help the environment.
When my paint was delivered it had travelled nearly 200 miles and was sealed in a plastic bag inside a large, sturdy box with impact-resistant, moulded cardboard shock protectors above and below the can.
This plus FedEx delivery must have been at considerable cost for Brewers but an even higher cost for the environment.
I expect they have an environmental policy statement and they certainly need to think about it again.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Rapid delivery of items not held locally and I get a text once they have arrived. Good quality products at fair prices. Very convenient having the store just down the road. We prefer to buy decorating products here rather than trekking to the larger DIY warehouses.
