Poor advice - oil based stain is useless
I went to buy a black wood stain to stain rattan furniture - I tested that water based wood stain worked with a mahogany stain I already had. I noted that they only had oil based - when I asked if it would work the reply was - I don’t see why not. Well for the record it doesn’t but I expect they knew that and just wanted to sell me the stain. I won’t be going back.

Good experience buying paint for click & collect
Good click and collect service thank you for some paint that I ordered from Brewers online. And I was able to source some wallpaper glue whilst collecting the order in the Oxford store. Very helpful staff. Overall, very good experience thanks.

DIY paintjob

Good price, kind staff, misleading collection time stated online
I like the range of products and competitive prices.
The staff in Oxford cowley branch are very helpful and professional.
However, Inmade online order and there it says that the product will be available for collection in local shopnl within 3 days. But in fact it took 5 days.
As a trade person I find very important to know when my product wl be ready.
I can understand 1 day delay but two days are too much.
