I can only agree with elements of others' negative reviews. The carrier doesn't supply tracking information to you when the order is despatched and when prompted by emails to the store the courier then shows a link and the information to date but it is not updated until the order miraculously arrives at the door without announcement. I say miraculously as l received a message possibly by them saying that they could not deliver a couple of days previously as nobody was at home. Utter Rubbish! I thought that it was a scam.
As l say, others have similarly been let down by the courier and if the store persists in using them, and they aren't cheap, it reflects on poor judgement by the store and if they persist in using this delivery company l will place no further orders and sadly forgo the credit note for items that they didn't have in stock.
Hard for a Scotsman l can tell you.

Delivered within a week to my home in Portugal (by DPD, good service). Everything arrived as described and well packed. Fast delivery and good prices. Highly recommend. This was the first time I have used this company so was slightly apprehensive, but all worked perfectly!

Good and quick delivery. My only slight complaint is lack of correspondence. I got a confirmation of order and payment and that was it. I was worried it might not be a legitimate company. Then I got a mail from the courier that they were on their way. No notice of dispatch etc. Apart from that, I got what I ordered nice and fast and now I know what to expect, would order here again.

We have used this company a number of times before and always have issues with the courier they use. I dont know if they use the cheapest company but that doesnt always pay. They recently changed to DPD a company without doubt the worst in the world.
Our order was dispatched from the depot to DPD some two weeks ago now and we STILL await receipt. DPD Have told British store online our address does not exist despite us having ordered from them in the past.
For the two weeks British store online staff and management have used every excuse in the book to justify the actions of DPD. ON Friday we had a message from British store confirming we would receive our products that day. What a shock they were lying.
We spoke with British store today and the attitude was truely dreadful apparently they have spent too much time trying to resolve this matter. What fantastic customer service. This company does not deserve to be in business. Perhaps if they grew a pair of balls and stood up to the courier they might get somewhere.
AVOID LIKE COVID
Today (20th August) at 8.10am my wife received a call from someone at this so called "family run" business making a number of accusations including that we were lying. We have no reason to lie maybe the response from them says so much about them.
My wife cut him off as she did not feel the need to discuss further. He then called back again ( once again making a number of sarcastic comments ) including calling my wife "perfect at her job". For this man's information no one is perfect not even him. I think the way they have handled the negative feedback quite clearly says so much about this company and the people it employs. Maybe you should learn what the words customer service means.
