Very, very bad.
Just opened a bag of salt and pepper.
They are hard, over baked and no flavour.
Potato chips or crisps should be light in texture and have plenty of flavour.
They should NOT be hard slices of potatoe with no flavour that has a potential to break your teath.

The bag went in the bin.
Over priced rubish.

No flavour I think they forgot to add the seasoning 😳that’s me done with buying this over priced tasteless crap anymore 😳🤬

I have eaten properly 1000s of packs of crisps all different brands you can think of and some you can't, I only recently discovered Burts and for me this is the best crisps I have eaten in a long time, I have tried a few flavours now and love them I all so like you get more then other brands and the pack is much fuller not mostly air like other brands.

Packet of Burt's crisps, bought from Sainsburys on friday 27th. June. They were thick, over-cooked, heavy and oily, quite inedible. Even the dog wouldn't eat more than one.

Burts crisps used to be amazing ! They are now terrible !
Why change them to be so good to do bad ???

We've always loved Burts Lightly Salted Crisps, but after our latest experience we'll be eating another brand.

Cooked by Sony with Geoff Vaux potatoes. No eyes were cut out, cooked too hard, too fast, too long, tasted stale but were well within date. Won't be buying again. 2 large packets in the bin

Horrible and more sugar than salt in a savoury crisp. Absolutely vile and totally unnecessary.

What went wrong is the labelling of ingredients "sunflower oil and or rapseed oil" why cant you be more specific? I don't want canola or rapseed oil in any food products yet you have added "and / or" Canola, rapseed oils are not healthy oils as they are a highly processed product, which make them unhealthy. Yes they add it to many items but doesn't mean its healthy and it is a misconception. I will no longer be paying big money for an "unhealthy" chip.

The sea salt doesn’t have any salt!
What a fail.

Absolutely rank... No crisp at all, tasted as if they'd gone off. Tried a second bag to confirm. Quite frankly a disgrace.

Had 2 bags of these with a couple of drinks, salt and vinegar and chilli and lime. Worst crisps I’ve ever had!
Never before have I taken crisps back to nibble on and the whole table of 8 disliked them. Heavy in flavour and awful! The crisps were actually left on the table by 8 people, never ever does that happen!

Much better than main brands! Light on the oil with great crunch and good flavour. I can understand some comments on here ref an older oil taste and flavour not quite as punchy as it used to be (I love the prawn cocktail) but for a small producer they’re heads above ‘main’ brands!

Not a fan of them sponsering the RNLI , both of them are assisting criminals to the uk .

It's disappointing when a sweet chili-flavored crisp lacks taste. Consider trying different brands or flavors to find one that offers the bold and satisfying taste you're looking for. Everyone's preferences vary, and you might discover a more enjoyable option. Batch no 16082313l1

Chips with Guinness, and Chilli.. This is a grand slam, out of the dam park!! Oh my word. Best chip I have ever had!

Had my first ever grab bag of Burt's cheese and onion crisps. The packet is huge when open there is a meagre amount of crisps at the bottom, disgusting waste of difficult to recycle packaging. The quality and taste of these undercooked crisps was unimpressive

Used to love these crisps but recently they have gone downhill badly. Clearly they are using older oil to fry off leaving crisps heavy and poor tasting. Used to be very light with great flavour. Such a shame. won't be buying again
