Ion Elite disappointment

Bought Ion elite in December and it would not charge properly.
Sent it back through retailer and for weeks later watch returned, still not charging.
Sent it back again direct to Bushnell who replaced the watch with a new one which charges as advertised.
Then tried to load so on mobile phone and after many attempts and contact with Bushnell, no positive advice given.
Bought new mobile. More expensive than watch. Loaded app first time.
Bushnell then advised watch not comparable with Android v14.

Stay clear of Bushnell phantom GPS…

i bought a Bushnell phantom GPS rangefinder 15 months ago. Have several issues with it.
First: I golf at a place that has 3 golf courses next to each other, called white, blue, red. The Bushnell gives me a choice of 3 courses but does not identify them by name, and the list changes it’s order regularly. I have to shut it off, turn it on and guess which one is the course I am playing on.
Second problem which is more important. It has a 12 month warranty. At 15 months, it stopped working properly. I have no recourse. It cost me $186.00 and to only work for 15 months is quite the rip off. I suggest you research a different company’s products that are perhaps more reliable.

Dodgy batteries on Ion Elite

Fantastic customer service awful product, Ion Elite battery lasted just over 2 years, was offered 20% of a new purchase, have a Garmin GPS that is 8 years old and still works, will warn everyone at my golf club to steer clear, be very careful buying anything from Bushnell

Camera unfit for purpose

I'm rarely surprised by poor or non-existent customer support from tech companies so on not receiving any reply from Bushnell, let alone a helpful one, put it down to deliberate company policy. This review grading is regarding the product itself (Core DS-4K) and which is, put simply, useless. None of the presets remain intact and the camera triggers arbitrarily at random intervals quite at variance with what I've programmed. After multiple resets and failed capture attempts, it's going in the bin and I'll try to find a professional unit that actually works. My advice is have nothing to do with this company.

Not the least bit consumer centric

I can't imagine a less consumer centric Customer Service Department. I send them a message asking if a replacement part for one product was compatible with the newer version, and if not could they get me a replacement for the model I own. I get a one word answer....."No", and no attempt to address my issue. Their company culture must just suck.

Brilliant customer service

I contacted Bushnell as a last resort regarding replacement of an item I was unable to find myself. Their response was rapid and the level of customer service went far beyond my expectations. Well done!

I just bought a wingman from Bushnell

I just bought a wingman from Bushnell. Could not manage to get my iPhone and the wingman to pair with each other. I called Bushnell’s support and the person informed me that they don’t support the version I purchased anymore. I informed the agent that I just bought and normally companies will support there products for quite a while. This person was arrogant and didn’t even try to help with the issue. He told me to buy a new product on eBay. I ran IT departments for 30 years and have never been treated or treated any other customers this way. I have quite a few Bushnell products, but will never buy another product from this company. Be aware, before you buy anything from this company.

What warranty?

As you'll see on here, Bushnell warranty is pretty much non-existent. Do a web search on warranty terms and conditions for UK products. You won't find anything other than one or two lines with no details whatsoever.

Bought a laser range finder, 6 months later stopped working. All Bushnell do is try and sell you another one with a bit of discount.

Woeful customer service. Buy an alternative make!

Bushnell-a very iffy company

Bought a Bushnell ion2 in 2020. Suddenly, just before Christmas it didn’t work anymore, giving a message of ‘no local courses found’ when switched it on.

After phoning golf clubs and speaking to professionals, who were unable to help, iI tried to find a phone number in the UK to phone Bushnell and find out what was happening. Couldn’t find one but eventually came across one on a USA site.

It seems that the Bushnell system used igolf to locate courses and has been closed down. The best Bushnell are prepared to do is offer a new gps at 20% discount ( (about £130). After the event of shutting down I received an email explaining what had happened.

The gps is now junk. Be warned if you buy Bushnell that it is not a forever purchase and you too could be switched off without warning.

Purchased ion elite watch June 2024. Watch won’t take a charge. Contacted service 3 times with no response.
Golfing partner has had same charging issue with Bushnell range finder.

Phantom 2 is a waste of money and time

Phantom 2 is a waste of money and time. Still unable
To connect to laptop. Instruction on site are fine “if” a computer will read it. Customer service has yet to respond by email and it’s been 4 days. There claim is to respond within 24-48 hours. Also, a call to their toll free number says “queue closed” call later. Avoid them.

My Bushnell pro X3 failed after 6months…

My Bushnell pro X3 failed after 6months (lightning of dual display). Bushnell Canada accept to repair it and send me instruction for a shipping to Ecycle solution, Mississauga. They received the Pro X3 on april 4, 2024. Since that it is impossible to get any feedback. The automatic client support is a mock service. Il you call at 9:02 in the morning they pretend their are facing to much calls and suggest to call tomorrow (I have tried that 12 time...). It is clear that they dont have the copetency to repair that kind of problem. The dont answer the e-mail neither. I regret choosing Bushnell insted of Garmin. I have used a Bushnell rangefinder on my sailboat for 25 years without problem. It is clear that Bushnell is not the same and is now close to the end of the road

Third time is NOT the charm

I’m on my THIRD watch in two seasons! First one wouldn’t take a charge after a few months. Second one the numbers and graphics went bad and the brand new third one doesn’t take a charge or turn on. One time, yeah it happens. Three times, the company has issues with their product. Liked it while it worked though. I’d shop around.

Bushnell ion golf watch fails in basic functions?

I am afraid to advise anyone thinking of purchasing the Bushnell ION elite golf watch to be aware it does cannot carry out some basic functions and Bushnell are aware of this based on my dialogue with them.
They have not made any attempt to resolve the issue(s) and this has been going on for months now with no dates given to rectify the issues.
If you expect it to provide stableford scores based on your handicap on the watch it does not.
If you decide to play off yellow tees for example from the default black tees it does not adjust your playing handicap to reflect it on the course you have selected
As I state I have raised these issues with senior management at Bushnell over some time this year and the issues still remain unresolved .
I think I have given them enough time to solve the most basic of issues and certainly if I had been aware of the obvious weakness in their system I certainly would have purchased a different make.

Bushnell doesn’t do service

Bushnell doesn’t do service. Phantom battery failed out of warranty, can’t be replaced, unit is scrap. Best advice is don’t go near this supplier, there are plenty of good companies out there, no need to purchase from Bushnell.

First watch failed after a week
Replacement - time is 5 minutes late so clearly not synching.
Move holes out of order and watch cannot respond
Have contacted Yumax twice - silence
Customer service awful.

Bought a Bushnell hybrid rangefinder…

Bought a Bushnell hybrid rangefinder less than 2 years ago, it was $399 the laser stopped working, called Bushnell, out of warranty, nothing they can do, terrible customer service. Will never purchase another Bushnell product.

awfull customer service - defective bushnell golf product

purchased a Bushnell tour V6 shift for golf and the range button fell off 2 months after purchase, customer service in Canada is now closed according to an email received and still requested I send it to the Toronto adress, no news despite emails sent with the proof of delivery and all the required info. Bushnell stood in my top supplier list for these products but the quality of service and lack of communication is despicable. As most of the comments seen, if I could give 0 star I would. Do not buy Bushnell products. To Bushnell, you should clean up your act and serve your customers as would a top tier company

Bushnell service in one word - PATHETIC

If I could give no stars I would.

I’ve had a Neo + watch for about 10 years and until now had no problems with it. From time to time I updated the software, added new courses and updated old courses until now.

I tried to connect to Igolf as usual and got a message saying Bushnell had ended support for legacy golf products. No alternatives were suggested.

I messaged Yumax who are Bushnell’s U.K. agent and was told nothing they could do but offered a 20% discount on new products. An unhelpful, useless response !

When I pointed out to Jack at Yumax that my watch is now obsolete and effectively useless this was his response:

Unfortunately, the 20% offer is the best that we are able to do due to the Igolf issue only being on Legacy products and not the new products.

All of our software support is now under one roof at Bushnell and we will not be in the same situation again.

Surely if it’s all under one roof they can provide their customers with the service they deserve and not the poor, lamentable, useless excuse of a service many here have experienced.

I would rather go without than buy another Bushnell product!
