Bioclimatica C3 Systems Seesky pergolas poor quality…
I bought two Bioclimatica C3 Systems Seesky pergolas (6m x 3m) through their distributors in 2021 for approximately €15,000 each. I want to warn potential buyers about my experience regarding the reliability and after-sales support of these pergolas.
Within just 5 years, I experienced four separate failures of the electric motors that control the aluminium slats. C3 Systems advertises a 5-year warranty on these motors, but in practice the support and reliability have been extremely disappointing.
The first motor failed only two weeks after installation. It was replaced quickly, likely because I had not yet paid the remaining 30% balance. However, that replacement motor failed again in September 2023. After countless phone calls, the motor was finally replaced in December 2023 (three months later).
In May 2024, the motor of the second pergola stopped working. I officially reported this issue on June 4th, 2024. Despite repeated follow-ups with the distributor, the motor was only replaced in December 2024 (seven months later).
Concerned about having three motor failures in only three years, I contacted C3 Systems Spain directly to ask whether they would investigate the quality or reliability of these motors. Unfortunately, I received a very dismissive response from After-Sales Service Department at C3 Systems. They simply redirected me back to the distributor and told me that the motors were of acceptable quality. In my experience, C3 Systems took no responsibility whatsoever for the repeated failures.
To make matters worse, the motor replaced in December 2023 failed yet again in April 2026. Therefore, this review.
Be warned: these Bioclimatica C3 Systems Seesky pergolas are very expensive products so you expect a good quality product, yet the most critical component, which is the motor, has repeatedly failed after a short period of use. Since the slats cannot be operated manually when the motor fails, the pergola becomes largely unusable.
In my experience, the after-sales support has been disappointing and C3 SystemS, S.L. in Spain has shown no accountability for the recurring defects.
Update 24-6-2026: instead of helping to resolve the issue, C3 Systems requested Trustpilot to take the review offline as it contained a name of the person in the after sales department. I have now removed his name.
