The Most Soul-Sucking, Toxic & Disorganised Company I’ve Ever Worked For
Cadence Partners are synonymous with utter chaos, unrealistic expectations, unclear and ever-changing goals, quantity over quality, long hours, monotonous tasks, tedious work, high employee turnover.
Out of the 40-50 people that worked there, a very small minority managed to stay past the one-year mark with most realising what they got into and leaving within a few months. There are at least 10 individuals who have chosen not to list the company on their profiles.
The boss takes great pride in luring staff into the company only to shame, bully, ridicule and embarrass them in front of other team members and make them feel small and worthless by employing cheap, immature and demotivating tactics. Not once did I see this happening and I experienced it myself countless times. The job is dull, intellectually unchallenging, boring, repetitive and everything is made worse by the toxic boss.
Do not believe the stories you will be told about being a ‘manager’, ‘conducting research’, ‘leading a team’ or the fancy job titles - you are 10000% a recruiter and at the end of the day all you'll ever do is get others to apply for mostly underpaid, undesirable, unpopular charity jobs.
Do not work there - it's a dark, neverending rabbit hole. If you’re in, get out. If you’re thinking of joining, think twice, but as far as I am concerned, you will regret it.
Advice to management
Your business model is not fit for the 21st century. You need to employ robots, not people. The facts speak for themselves. I find it pathetic that you have an explanation as to why every single person who left within a few months did so - contract, relocation, poor performance etc.
Has it ever crossed your mind that maybe there is something wrong with you and not with every single person who ever worked for you?
