The service from start to finish has been brilliant - we had to move into temp accommodation due to a flood in our home - and the team at CT were fantastic with the move - both out of our home and into our temp property. Even when our bed was not installed properly, they sorted out a date to come and fix it speedily. The team with Pawel and Szymon, and Handymen Tomeck and Rafa were all great - professional, and efficient.

Exceptional company when it comes to shipping expensive art pieces. Nothing is a problem, everything is possible. The staff are friendly and amazing at problem solving when it comes to shipping unusual pieces or solving how to ship to hard to deliver to places. I would highly recommend them. I use the base in Wimbledon, England and always had a 5 star service.

We moved at the start of April. From the initial survey of our flat to receiving the quote, to planning the actual dates for packing and finally moving, everyone we dealt with at Cadogan Tate in the office and on site was amazingly flexible and helpful. Daniel, Lyndsey, Mathew and Lacey particularly.
We had a full packing service a day in advance with further work done on the morning of the actual move.
The team packed everything so carefully and we had a very, very full flat having lived there for over 40 years!
They have been great in the aftermath too coming to collect all the empty boxes etc.
I’ve been recommending them wholeheartedly to several friends about to move.

Awful experience. The service is superficially good, but over time we had several misdirected deliveries and it became clear that the record keeping system is fundamentally flawed. This included arguments about whether certain valuable items were in our possession or theirs - they insisted they were not (several times), but eventually admitted that they were. Expensive, but not good.

Cadogan Tate isn’t the service with the lowest charge but it must be one of the best ones. All staff dealing with us was super nice and professional - special shout-outs to Ms Lyndsey Murfet and Ms Gemma Karavias, who were amazingly efficient and helpful with our enquiries and getting our issues sorted. We highly recommend Cadogan for home moving.

Yet again, they have exceeded expectations. Despite my sentiment of supporting local movers, I went back to using Cadogan for my move and what a delightful experience it has been. From Liam patiently quoting and re-quoting as things changed, to Navideh arranging the pre-move details to the three musketeers: Simon, James and Jimmy - all three of whom were thoroughly helpful, professional and adjusting. Nothing is too much for them and the packing and loading was done very carefully. Thank you and see you when you bring everything back!

I had a really great experience with this moving company. From the very beginning, all my questions before the move were answered quickly and in great detail, which made me feel confident and well-prepared.
The movers themselves were incredibly kind, careful, and friendly. They handled everything with attention and respect, and packed my belongings very neatly and securely.
Overall, the whole process was completely stress-free — honestly, the best moving experience I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a smooth and reliable move.

The Cadogan Tate team were incredible for our house move. Their team were speedy, careful and took the attitude of 'nothing is a problem' which really eased our stress. We found them to be well priced vs competitors, and didn't experience any hidden fees. They were flexible when we had to amend our move date, which was greatly appreciated. The 'handy-man' was excellent - efficient and careful, again making things feel like a breeze. Every single person we came across at the company was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Due to having contracted Cadogan Tate for storage, I felt locked in to using their moving services and have used their removal services for three separate moves over the last few years including one international move. Considering that Cadogan Tate is reputed to be a "top tier" removal provider (both service and cost), they were not so well organized on the international move and some things that were labeled for storage got moved and vice versa. There were also damages which they acknowledged and accepted responsibility to cover via insurance which I purchased for the move. After six months of chasing for the payment, I have not received reimbursement and it is only now that I post this review to share with others who may also expect high quality service given the high cost. I am beyond frustrated and really cannot recommend Cadogan Tate.

The removal chaps were fast, very courteous and helpful

I have used Cadogan Tate for 30 years, but this move was particularly complex at the end of a long relationship and consisted over a 9 month period of one large house pack (Cadogan Tate's packing is second-to-none), four 'chunky' deliveries out of storage (one or two containers on each occasion) and the personal collection of a suitcase from the depot ... all to varying addresses. My liaison at Head Office, Lacey Grimshaw, was fantastic as were all the delivery teams ... dealing with a series of sensitive moves with great communication, professionalism and efficiency. And also with quiet and gentle empathy and support which was of particular importance given the circumstances. It was a pleasure to work with and be supported by each and every one of them. My last container came out of storage last week.

Excellent moving company — expensive but worth it.

I chose Cadogan because I was very stressed about the move, and they made everything incredibly easy. They are at the upper end of the market, but if you’re looking for a smooth, no-stress experience, I would definitely recommend them.

Cadogan Tate provided exceptional service for our house move. The team was professional, hardworking, and incredibly efficient. They treated our belongings with great care, and nothing was damaged or misplaced.
What impressed us most was how friendly and communicative they were throughout, making the entire process stress-free. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend their services.

I’m honestly not sure where to begin. They say moving is one of the most stressful things you can go through, and this move absolutely lived up to that reputation—largely due to the complexities of the building we were moving out of.

Cadogan Tate were absolutely amazing throughout. Stuart and Lacey were there every step of the way, calm, supportive, and completely on top of everything.

Lacey in particular was an absolute star. I know this was not an easy move, but she handled it with professionalism, patience, and good humour throughout.

And as a bonus—she also writes a cracking email.

The dedication, extreme care and professionalism to get it right, the friendliness and flexibility of the whole team was impressive throughout the five days the Cadogan Tate team were packing for us.

I must say I was genuinely excited when I started the process of working with Cadogan Tate. I have moved internationally several times and the results have always been quite variable. I had used CT for one off deliveries of art in the US and they had always been excellent. So I felt very confident that they would do a good job when it came to a move from Portugal to the UK. The quote was close to 90k gbp so I was expecting great things.

The pack up in Portugal was solid at the house. Things started to go awry when they told me that they had completely forgotten a storage pick up in Lisbon. I would still have to pay the storage fees in lisbon and they said they would subtract the costs from their London storage invoices in the future. They would pick up the rest on the second half of the job. Annoying but felt reasonable.

The move into our rental went relatively well, except they damaged my landlords running machine. When they moved the machine they placed it over the plug floor plate. When my wife used the machine the floor plate caught the tread and damaged it. We have videos and conversations that create a precise timeline of the events. At first they were very apologetic and said they would contact technogym. When they did, TG said the belt couldn’t be replaced as it’s too dangerous to use. They would have to replace the whole machine. Which they said they would.

It took them three months to come back to me to tell me that they can’t replace it under their insurance, as I didn’t take out their moving insurance which was an extra 2% of the 90k. Which is beyond expensive and my items were covered under my Chubb insurance. So I am now left with a 25k bill for a new machine and now they don’t even respond. Not only was the customer experience awful, they show no sense of care or attention to detail. This is obviously a major concern when they are handling expensive personal belongings.

I have now had to hire another mover and pay double the money for the second move. They took over 55k for the first move and I can’t trust them not to damage my belongings. Or look after us if they do damage them. I think everyone understands that innocent mistakes happen, but in order to maintain a premium brand you should make every effort to make things right.

I have since found out that they have been bought by a PE firm and have been buying up lots of smaller companies under the CT umbrella. So quality and brand experience has suffered and they are no longer a high end boutique brand you can trust. Consolidation is really hard and it’s clear the customer is suffering. This happened to my friend in London too and another contact I know in Spain. So it’s not a one off incident unfortunately.

Please stay away at all costs, in case something goes wrong.

The removal team, led by Simon with Pawel, Przemek, and Radu, were absolutely excellent – all lovely guys: friendly, bubbly, and extremely accommodating. They made what could have been a stressful day run effortlessly, enjoyable and with great care.

From start to finish, the service was fantastic – from the initial quotation with Daniel and Ryan through to the removal itself, everything was handled professionally and efficiently.
