I paid for ad booked a car through…

I paid for ad booked a car through their service, but there were problems with my card, so I couldn't take the car. Unfortunately, I could not find the option to cancel the order on the website. I filled out a contact form, but didn't get any response. So my money was just burned. I think that was the last time I used the services of this company.

Inefficient telephone booking

When I booked my holiday over the telephone there was problem after problem. I received a number of confirmation emails all of which were incorrect. I had to phone time after time to get things sorted out. All this was not what I had been expecting when I booked with Canadian Affair

Car hire a waste of time.

Paid a deposit then a week later the full amount only to be told there are no cars available for our dates 6th September isn't peak time. . The alternative car offered had limited mileage so no good.
Had a suspicion all along this would happen and the strange voucher system didn't look good.
Why not check the dates at the initial booking stage to save everyone's time and trouble. Won't be using again.

Update.
I have emailed and still waiting for a refund. I have booked a car with a competitor broker. Within 10 minutes everything was finalised and voucher received. Why can't you do that I?

A Pleasure to deal with

I had used Canadian Affair for my only previous visit to Canada in 2005, and they did a bespoke itinerary for me then that was quite complex but worked beautifully. I wanted to plan a further trip for 4 of us taking in the Rocky Mountaineer and an Alaskan Cruise. I completed the online query form and received a comprehensive itinerary within 36 hours that “ticked all my boxes”. Questions were answered very promptly by Kasey and within a week everything was agreed and booking completed. I am quite sure that any further questions I have between and June next year will be answered quickly too. I have every confidence that I am in the hands of professionals and have no hesitation in recommending Canadian Affair to others.

Booked a hotel through CA for 2 nights…

Booked a hotel through CA for 2 nights in Victoria. They rang me the following day to check some details and then sent me a confirmation.
At the time i could have had the choice of 25/30 hotels in the Victoria BC area, but after 10 days they sent me an email to say the hotel hadn't confirmed the booking. Frantically looking on Booking.com etc I find that all the hotels are now booked up, apart from the one I'd requested! They can take my booking but it costs an extra £450!! Meanwhile CA are still advertising hotel rooms at cheap rates that don't exist. Scandalous.
PS - Still waiting for my refund!

Jo Buckley Superstar!

Jo Buckley, such a star! Booking this holiday had previously been such a headache dealing with so many details and unreliable agents until I decided to try Canadian Affair. What a fantastic experience!! Jo was listened to exactly what I wanted and came up with a fantastic itinerary within my budget. I’m blown away with the effort she put in to finding me my dream holiday. It wasn’t an easy one for her with all my requirements and hotels being sold out all over the place (my fault for leaving it all toothed last minute) but she didn’t stop until we got everything sorted, even working over time to finalise everything for me.
Thanks Jo, the kids and I can’t wait for my 30 year later, return to Banff and Jasper holiday! You’re a superstar!

Smooth booking process

The booking was smooth and the vehicle met our specifications although we have not had our trip yet so cannot verify the quality of the vehicle. Having an agent in the UK made the booking process easier
