Donating our car to Habitat for Humanity was smooth and efficient. We were promptly contacted by Capitol Auto Auction and our car was picked up on time. The Driver of the tow truck was knowledgeable and professional.

The tow truck driver was courteous and exhibited excellent customer service. He gave me a courtesy call prior to his arrival.

Everything went very smoothly. The driver who picked up our car was especially helpful and removed our license plates that were rusted in place.

Very easy. No issues and little time consumption.

The whole process was quite easy. An emailed question was responded to quickly. Good communication and execution.

One star off because the pick-up driver gave me a window of 6am - 7am for pickup, and then showed up at 7:15. I can forgive being late to an afternoon pickup, but if you're going to get me up by 6am, you could at least have the courtesy of showing up on time.

Everyone kept me informed on each step of the donation process.

This was very easy process, quick response and the tow truck was very professional and took only a few minutes.

The process for donating my Toyota Highlander Hybrid to Habitat For Humanity was quick, and easy to do. My hope is that someone else will enjoy driving the Highlander as much as I did for 17 years. It still runs well.

We got great information and help scheduling a pickup of the car. But the people who arrived at 7:30 AM had a truck with a different name on it. They were wearing black clothes without logos. When asked they refused to provide any form of identification and they said they were told they should not show ID. When I took a photo of the car, the man beside it turned his head and loosed down. While the other one talked to me, that one stood out of sight or with his back turned. It was very strange behavior.I tried to call the office to verify, but it was closed. They wanted me to sign the title and let them fil in all the other blanks. They finally agreed to let me identify Capital Auto as the buyer. The left without the car manuals and the spare key, so I called the office, explained all this and they said they did want the manuals and spare key and would send someone to pick them up. But they still haven't. The left a receipt and I've heard from you that you did get the car, so in the end I guessed right to trust them. But it was stressful and you didn't get the manuals and key which might be useful of you are selling it.

First the driver you sent he was very kind and respectful...He heard my story about the car of my husband giving to my daughter graduation gift years ago and how she gave it back to him when she got her next car to remind her how hard she worked in high school honors scholar...before my husband pass he ask me to find someone to donate the car to...since he beat cancer I decided to donate the car for more research or medical for cancer patients that's in need...this isn't the first car we have donate to cancer associations this is the 3rd car to others cancer associations.
I pray we're 🙏 making a difference in someone life...

The communication was great. Capital Auto contacted me ahead of time. The tow truck driver called the night before to confirm and arrived exactly on time. They made donating my car as easy as possible, which was appreciated.

This was a great experience for me . The customer service representative was professional and helpful. The tower made it very convenient for time pick up of the car and was helpful removing my tags for me.

We donated the vehicle to a local charity. The vehicle pickup was fine; the driver arrived on schedule, and gave us a receipt. Since then, we've not heard anything from anyone about anything other than getting a request to complete a survey. Was our vehicle sold at auction? How much did they get? Will we ever get a tax receipt from the charity? We don't know. I waited a week before completing this survey, since some of this isn't really Capital Auto Auction's fault. But, if they have my email address to send me the survey, couldn't they send me a note letting us know that our vehicle was sold at auction, and how much it went for?

The only way it could have been easier is if someone stood next to me and held my hand, haha. I'm someone with severe anxiety and this process was straightforward and guided enough that it was very doable for me. Filing out the forms was simple, only needing easily accessible information, the people I talked to on the phone were very friendly, it was easy to work around my schedule, even the tow truck driver was very pleasant. Really glad I went this route and the whole thing is done and out of my hair.

Kindness by the representatives on the phone when I initially called to find out what I needed to do to donate this car. Everyone I talk to was kind and understanding. I had some focus positive as far as trying to get the actual date for them to come and pick up the vehicle. The tow driver that actually came was very kind called me the day before even took off the tags. Everything was a great experience
