Poor delivery service
Carriage charge expensive. UPS only made one attempt at delivery and I had to collect package from a collection point 8 miles away. Small battery pack in large box. Use Jiffy bag so it can go through letter box. Expect refund of carriage charge.

We are sorry that your experience with this order was not ideal, unfortunately we are unable to control the nearest collection point. The reason why there was only one delivery attempt could be down to previous preferences specified to UPS on a past delivery. As you were still able to collect your parcel with minimal delay, we are unable to refund your carriage in this instance.

Cells could be sourced cheaper elsewhere however. As I personally don't pay for them, my organization does, I opt for the convenience of ready made packs over price.

It is noted on the product page and subsequent emails that this is a "made to order" product and delays of up to 7 days can be expected. I apologise for any inconvenience that may have been caused but we do warn of this delay.

I phoned and asked for advice on whether Nicad or Nimh Sub C cells would be better for the 4 amp drain on a 25 year old vacuum cleaner. The poor girl could only repeatedly ask what cells were originally in the cleaner (Nicads, disposed of 15 years ago). Advice, therefore, was not forthcoming.
Knowing Cell Pack Solutions as a long time customer, I went ahead and bought Yuasa Nimh cells with tags. They arrived within a few days, excellently packed and at a very competitive price.
Excellent service - if you know what you want to buy!
