Bardzo dobre wrażenie

Można kupić bilet bardzo łatwo przez internet. Bardzo szybko interne chyba we wszystkich pociągach jakimi do tej pory jeździłem. Fajna przygoda. Polecam jazdę po Czechach tym przewoźnikiem

Für mich unerwartet hat die CD eine…

Für mich unerwartet hat die CD eine Railjet-Strecke von Hamburg nach Kopenhagen bedient. Was für eine freudige Überraschung - ein Speisewagen mit richtig leckerem Essen (und nicht nur Snacks wie bei der DB)! Der Zug ansonsten: Sauber, geräumig und komfortabel, Service prima!

Trains arrive on time, Clean & great lost and found service

Trains arrive on time, Clean. Friendly service. Not used to this in Austria. Forgot my Photokamera. A nice lady in Prague Office - Monika really cared. Can't tell, how thankful I am To her and all the staff, also in Ceske Budevice Office. Will definitly travel to Czech Republic with Czech Railway again. Highly recommend!

Unfreundliches Personal!!!
Ich vermeide es weitesgehend mit jeglichen Bahnen zu fahren, da ist der Mercedes einfach komfortabler. Wenn man es dann doch mal nutzen muss und einfach in Ruhe von Berlin nach Dresden fahren will und den Schaffner der DB fragt ob der Kinder Fernseher direkt neben einem einen Ticken leiser gestellt werden kann wo eh keiner zusieht kommt ein unfreundliches Nein wir haben Kinder im Zug, wenn das stört setzen Sie sich gerne um. Ich hab Verständnis für Kinder, aber spannungsgeladene Szenen waren so dermaßen laut, da weiß man auch nicht ob es nicht sogar schädlich für die empfindlichen Kinderohren ist!

Ughh

Unreliable. Incompetent. Would not recommend. Even if you pay extra for the first class you get no refreshments included in the ticket (as other companies does) and even in first class there is no quiet department, so if you want to work, just forget about it. People make their calls, talk loudly...at least the connection was not as bad as with other providers (Leo express) There are actually no reliable and good public transport companies I would recommend atm I am affraid. The question is always more: which one is the less bad?

České dráhy jsou hrozné. Furt samé zpoždění jako nemůže aspoň jednou být vlak bez zpoždění?! A k tomu ty ceny jsou strašně drahé pokud cestujete v jihočesku tak si radši kupte jihočeskou jízdenku aby jste ČD dali méně peněz jmenuje se: “Jikord Jihočeská jízdenka” stojí 250 kč. ČD naučte se vše co regiojet dělá, jsou o půlku levnější a lepší.

As an architect

As an architect, I appreciate the design of the new trains, but the service reliability is poor. My last two business trips were delayed by over 45 minutes with zero communication from the staff. It's difficult to rely on them for professional scheduling when the basic timetable is treated as a suggestion

Jezdím vlakem často

Jezdím vlakem často, takže České dráhy dobře znám. Bohužel zpoždění jsou skoro na denním pořádku a aplikace občas ukazuje úplně jiné informace než realita.
Některé soupravy jsou v pořádku, jiné působí unaveně a bez klimatizace.
Personál bývá slušný, ale systém jako celek nefunguje spolehlivě.
Není to nejhorší možnost dopravy, ale k ideálu to má daleko

horrible experience

They are horrible. Unreliable, obnoxious, with ludicrous "policies" aimed at trapping you in unacceptable "deals".

Forget about it. And instead, travel by bus instead - much less expensive, much more reliable, flexible, clean, comfortable - .

I am sorry to say that the Czech Railways demonstrates that this country has not succeeded in its integration to the EU, and they are far, very far away from even the elementary North-American standards. It is no wonder that their trains are largely empty. The locals have understood the problem long ago. And no sane person who is a visitor and who tries them once, will ever use them again.

Go with the buses ! (Which are not perfect, indeed, but they are much better that this Railways fiasco... and if you are traveling as a group of 3 people or more, better yet, go with Uber! It will not cost you much more that the train, minus the aggravation, plus all the convenience in all regards.

Take you arrival time, and forget it

If travelling with this company, take the arrival time they give you, and forget it, always always always running late, out of maybe 100 journeys, I have been on time only 1 time, it’s ridiculous, and in summer just avoid totally, never any air con

Sauna on wheels

On the train going from Praha to Karvina now. Booking this train cost us £10 more than booking Leo Express but did it anyway due to departure time being slightly later. Did not expect the train to remember the 80s and to have no working air conditioning. The controller said that ac is on and while the light control is on, the carriage is boiling hot and we cannot breathe here. Looks like I spent £40 on tickets to sauna on wheels. I read that this company owns both old and new types of trains but will never give them a chance again. The ticket controller said that the company does not care about complaints and it is what it is. I was also requested to speak either Polish or Czech which I found difficult under pressure as I reside neither in Poland nor in Czechia. The service is truly awful and I would like to recommend booking Leo Express to everyone!

Horrible service

We traveled on July 28, 2025 from Olbramovice to Jiretin pod Jedlovou. The tickets office in Olbramovice only opened at 10:10 am, i.e. 10 minutes before the 10:20 am scheduled train arrival. There was a queue of 5 people behind me. I needed to buy a family ticket for 2 adults and 3 kids. The lady struggled with the computer, so she used almost the entire 10 minutes just to issue our tickets. The people in the line behind me were furious. I ran to the platform where the rest of the family waited, and we caught the train, but I don't know what the other people did. But wait, there is more. Later in the train a conductor checked our tickets, and found that we only had tickets for 4 people, not for five. So we had to buy another ticket. I hope you'll have a better experience with Czech Railways than we had.

They “accept” your cancellation… and charge 100%. Ridiculous.

I had a very frustrating experience with České dráhy. I bought a ticket on their website and had to cancel it just a few minutes later. I followed the official process, and a few days later they replied accepting the cancellation — but then applied a 100% “service fee”, so I didn’t get a single cent back.

This policy feels illogical, unfair, and even mocking: accepting a cancellation just to say you're getting nothing back is a fancy way of refusing refunds without taking responsibility.

Other companies, like Deutsche Bahn, offer a free cancellation window of up to 180 minutes. Here, not even a few minutes are enough to fix an honest mistake.

I don’t recommend it. If you book through cd.cz, read the conditions very carefully, because there are no second chances.

Unfreundliches Personal. Zug schadhaft, zwei Züge verspätet (Reise mit 3 x umsteigen). Verspätung 4 1/2 Stunden!! Null Information während der Fahrt. Informationen vom Kellner (!!) bekommen.

WER HAT ABTEIWAGONS ABGESCHAFFT!!!

Im April bin ich aus Berlin nach CZ und paar Tage später wieder zurück. Die Euro City Züge würden erneuert. Es gibt keine Abteiwagen mehr. Jetzt setze ich mit der freie Erziehung und rotzende hustende Menschheit im Großraumwagen. Es ist SUPER KALT, SUPER EKLIG, SUPER LAUT UND SUPER NERVIG!! Man kann nicht mehr irgendwo stehen, wenn man sich hinstellt, wird man immer darauf hingewiesen, die Toilette ist hier🤷‍♂️, ist frei🤷‍♂️, ist Sie müssen nur die Tür aufdrücken🤷‍♂️. Ich möchte nur etwas stehen und nicht auf die Toilette hingewiesen werden 🤌. Welcher 22 jähriger, (Ich habe die besten Ideen), hat sich die Abschaffung der Abteiwagen, ausgedacht!!! Lassen Sie sich etwas einfallen, damit man nicht friert und etwas entspannen kann. BITTEEEEE!!

hrozní hrubí dirigenti.

Českých drah. . Měl jsem strašnou zkušenost s extrémně hrubými průvodčími, zejména se ženami. ale tenhle jeden dirigent mi opravdu lezl na nervy. Byl jsem ve vlaku, abych jel domů po stresujícím dni a průvodčí zapomněl udělat svou práci a zamkl okno ve vlaku, které se dá otevřít, a nebyly tam žádné nápisy, že ho nesmíte otevřít, a otevřel jsem ho svému dítěti, které se přehřívalo a má postižení. [ASD]. přišel k nám přísný hrubý dirigent, promluvil na nás tónem a udělil nám pokutu za to, že nezamykal okno. najednou to byla nase chyba a on chtel 1500kc a ja nemohl zaplatit, protoze jsem byl jen na dovolene a chtel jen kartu. Nabídl jsem, že zaplatím v hotovosti, ale řekl ne. moje dítě slyšelo, co se děje, a mělo tichý záchvat paniky. dokud k nám nepřišla milá dáma, která uměla anglicky a nabídla, že zaplatí svou kartou, ale požádal jsem ji, aby přeložila průvodčímu „proč okno nebylo zamčené a proč to byla naše chyba, že nedělal svou práci“. A ona mu to přeložila do češtiny a on trapně mlčel a odešel a nechal mě a tu paní a moje dítě, které mělo tichou panickou ataku a plakalo stresem a strachem, Ty průvodčí a vlaky nám dělaly takový problém a moje dítě nás neustále stresovalo, to není jediný problém, že průvodčí, jak jsem už zmínil, jsou na nás tak hrubé, neviditelně se nám posmívají a koulí očima. Ale tento problém dnes překročil hranice. Stalo se to dnes, 2. dubna 2025. Vlak jel do Tábora v 16:20. Je mi líto těch, kteří se s tím také museli vypořádat .

Wir sind mit dieser Bahn von Prag nach…

Wir sind mit dieser Bahn von Prag nach Dresden gefahren. Die Tickets wurden sofort nach bezahlung per PDF geschickt. Die Bahn war sauber und pünktlich,und die Tickets waren fast 40€ billiger als bei der Deutschen Bahn. Hier kann sich die DB eine Scheibe abschneiden. Warum hier so viele schlechte Bewertungen sind bleibt mir ein Rätsel. Bei uns war alles okay.
