I bought 2 tickets through this company.
An half hour later they told me that it wasn't available for the price they asked.
Then they told me it can take up to 10 days before I get my money back.
But they said to make up we give you a voucher of 15 euro.
Hopeless company. Never book with them.

Bedrog

Bedrog. Retour vlucht geboekt, bevestiging op site, maar geen mail, wel betaald. Na tweeënhalf uur een mail met annulering van de boeking, stoel is niet meer beschikbaar voor dit tarief. Maar ze willen met plezier(!) de stoel voor me reserveren voor meer dan het dubbele tarief. Vervolgens gebeld met de klantenservice, maar krijg iemand aan de lijn die amper te verstaan is en me niet verder helpt. En het fraaist is nog dat je binnen tien dagen je geld terugkrijgt. In 1 woord, waardeloos.

we paid for tickets that we did not book, IT'S A SCAM!!

So we booked or tickets on the 22nd of October on date of 24th of December till 7th of January, we know for sure that we booked on this date because we booked our busses also and it's the day before Christmas like??!! Now they send us flight tickets for the 24th of January till 7th of February, THE WRONG DATES!!! We spend almost €500 on this tickets and there anwser to us is: Well that can happen if you buy cheap tickets?!! Like these are not CHEAP if you have to buy them again...!!!!! Because you can't change the dates even for an additional cost. Now if we looked at the reviews people say the same thing, if you call them they all say the same thing. The soon if you ask them a question they say i can't hear you or your voice is breaking down or whatever!! So conclusion we have to buy our tickets again. That's a lot of money that we actually wanted to use for the holidays!!

Bait & switch. I made the reservation, then, lo and behold, there were no seats at that price for the month of December; BUT he would gladly upgrade me for more than twice the amount at which I booked the reservation.

Extremely Stressful- Worst Travel Experience Ever

In addition to inaccurate information from CheapTickets about my baggage (CheapTickets had indicated that my baggage allowance was for a one free carry-one and two free checked bags.This was one of the selling points for choosing Cheaptickets. However, after speaking with both airlines, I learned that I can have one free checked bag, in addition to a carry-on and a personal item.

I have also learned that my flights were booked as two one-way trips, rather than as connecting flights - something that wasn't disclosed by Cheaptickets when the trip was booked. This may require that I retrieve my luggage in the first airport, go through security a second time, and recheck my baggage for my second flight.

Furthermore, both airlines told me their partner airlines was the one I needed to check-in with. It took multiple calls, and approximately 3+ hours to resolve the issue, calling each airline several times.

In reference to the two one-way flights; I wouldn't have minded had it been disclosed. In my experience, CheapTickets both withholds information and does not provide accurate details about and during the booking process, making it a stressful situation.

There are much better consolidators, with similar prices, and clear info., which I will use when traveling in the future.

DO NOT USE!

Online only company for any support for bookings. I needed to change my ticket for bereavement reasons, and they will not contact the trade desks for an airline to do that. The agents are trained with scripts to ensure that they get your money, and will not do any work or incur any charges to support issues you may have. They will not get on the phone with an airline and do anything on your behalf. Use them at your own risk, but I promise you it's not worth it. If you buy a ticket, you'll be lucky to fly or be able to use your ticket in anyway. Do not use budgetair.com, CheapTickets, Vayama, Vliegwinkel and Flugladen. The company is affiliated with SGR, ANVR, IATA and the Dutch Home Shopping Organization. They are fraudsters, IMHO, and the company executives and ownership should be in jail.

Niet meedenkend of bereikbaar

Ze laten mijn zoon (met autisme) op de airport in dusseldorf staan. Contact is drama, oplossingsrichtingen zijn ze niet, makkelijk geld verdienen zo.
Kijkt hij een heel jaar naar uit en hard gespaard!!

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. I currently have a family emergency and need to travel from Belgium to US in a rush. I booked a flight on Icelandic Airlines through cheapflightsfares. The flight is delayed by more than 10 hours with no information provided for re-routing, rebooking, etc. I had to purchase another ticket on a different airline and, while Icelandic Air is willing to refund my ticket, cheapflightsfares, will refund only $700 of $1,100 charged to my card, and I even took their insurance.

Update after 3 months: This company is clearly a scam operation, potential customers beware!! I even purchased their "insurance" in case of ticket changes. They refunded only a portion of the ticket cost while Icelandic Air informed me they would cancel my ticket with no penalty. I'll never use them again!

Real BS avoid at all costs.

Don’t not use cheap tickets.com…

I tried booking a ticket and for some reason it change the date on my return flight,called with in 10 minutes,and the flight for the right date was same price,still they wanted to charge me 130 to change it.that’s the price of the ticket in the first place.don’t recommend useing them.better of going thru the airline it’s self.

Vriendin had reis naar Malaga geboekt. Alles betaald, en ik zou op haar wachten in Malaga. Na het boeken mailtjes gehad dat wij zelf aktie moeten nemen om te bevestigen. Code gekregen van cheaptickets maar bij Ryanair kon ze met de code niet inloggen. Cheaptickets gebeld, en een onverstaanbaar binnensmonds Engels pratend persoon aan de lijn. Die verwees ons naar Ryanair. Maar met de code die cheaptickets aan ons verzonden had, konden we niet inloggen bij Ryanair. Bellen kan ook niet, of je krijgt een robot aan de lijn. Op een gegeven moment maar opgegeven, en op dag van vertrek is mijn partner met de trein naar Weeze Duitsland gereisd. Daar kwam ze erachter dat ze niet mee mocht omdat ze haarzelf nog niet voor vertrek had ingelogd. Huilend in de trein naar huis. Cheaptickets app gestuurd, reageren niet meer. Waar is de tijd gebleven dat je gewoon met medewerkers kan praten om je probleem uit te leggen dat je iets niet snapt. Echter waarschijnlijk ligt de fout niet bij ons omdat de bevestingscode niet werkte bij Ryanair. Ze is nu onderweg naar huis met de trein en heeft haar welverdiende vakantie niet mogen meemaken. Hou eens op met de chat, WhatsApp en verdere digitalisering. Ik wil een medewerker kunnen spreken. Cheaptickets, hoe gaan jullie mijn partner helpen nu ze weer vanuit Duitsland naar Nederland reist. Wel het geld opstrijken, en de klant aan het.lot overlaten. SCHANDALIG en reageer eens op mijn WhatsApp berichten

Slechte klant service. Heb bijbetaald anders kon ik niet naar huis.

Heb voor een ticket €650,- voor alleen de vlucht betaald.
Automatisch inchecken. Nu is de heen weg top en terug weg moest ik €55,- bij betalen anders kon ik niet naar huis. Ze vroegen bij de desk waar ik had geboekt en keken we aan en zeiden daarom is het niet gelukt (over cheap tickets ). Nou denk bel krijg ik terug werd er opgehangen bel ik weer terug kreeg de zelfde dame eraan kon ze niks van me vinden. Gemaild geven ze de maatschappij de schuld. Heb niks terug gekregen en ben er ook klaar mee normaal schrijf ik nooit reviews tenzij het top is maar boek hier nooit meer. Voelde een plicht om het te doen zo dat als je gaat boeken op de hoogte bent van de risco’s.

Have never had a worse experience with a company and their customer service. Booked a flight that said “no cancellation fee if canceled within 24 hours”. I called to cancel 15 hours later, spent 1.5 hours on the phone, just for them to tell me they can’t cancel. Will never use this website again. Legit false advertising.

Had an extremely bad experience. Never again!

Had an extremely bad experience. Bought 2 round-trip tickets to Barcelona through Cheaptickets. I booked tickets that included hand luggage and a personal item so I wouldn't need to check in any baggage.

I thought everything was sorted until 22 hours before the flight when online check-in opened, and I found out that the hand luggage, which I had paid for with my ticket, was not included at all!

It was half past midnight, so I immediately contacted them the next morning. First, I tried the online chat, but I got stuck with the chatbot. Then I attempted to contact them via WhatsApp in Dutch, but the conversation was extremely unhelpful; the only thing the representative kept saying was that it was not Cheaptickets' fault and that the airline was responsible for baggage. (That's all well and good, but Cheaptickets happily sold me tickets with hand luggage! That's what they advertised. After all, I'm buying a plane ticket from Cheaptickets, not from Vueling). The conversation abruptly ended because the Cheaptickets colleague thought it was perfectly fine to disappear in the middle of our conversation and not say anything more.

Third attempt: calling them. I could only speak in English, which was not a problem as I speak English well. A friendly man assured me, not once, not twice, but more than three times that I not only had a personal item but also a hand luggage suitcase per ticket! Great! I asked him to tell me where he found this information so I could verify it because my boarding pass clearly stated that I only had a personal item, no hand luggage. He repeatedly insisted that I definitely had hand luggage and that if I had to pay extra at the airport, I could get this additional payment refunded by sending the receipt to Cheaptickets. He also said he would send me an email with a screenshot showing that I was entitled to hand luggage and the confirmation from Cheaptickets that I had this right.
Email in the inbox, ready for vacation, let the party begin.

Mistake. Because once I arrived at the gate, I had to pay €60 euros for 1 hand luggage suitcase, and it had to be checked in as well, causing significant delays after landing as we had to wait for our luggage.

I immediately forwarded the receipt and the story to Cheaptickets, and they initially sent me an email saying, "We apologize for this experience; we will look into it." Then I heard nothing for several days, and when I asked for an update, I received the familiar response, "There's nothing we can do about it; it's the airline's responsibility."

So now I'm in Barcelona, Cheaptickets sold me a product different from what was advertised, treated me incorrectly and extremely rudely, and I have to pay an extra €60 per flight to bring my luggage with me. On the return journey, it might be even more money! Completely unacceptable.

The way they can deceive people so blatantly and handle it without any shame is truly bizarre and unacceptable. I will never buy a ticket from Cheaptickets again! You never know what could go wrong, and when something does go wrong, you get conflicting answers and end up in a terrible situation! Unbelievable!

Not Cheap Tickets

The service was absolutely terrible. They lied about the seat assignments. I had to continue to call about my tickets. I had to pay additional cost for seat assignments after the representative told me it was included in the price. Do not use them. I. Would give them a zero if it was possible.

Travelocity and CheapTickets are owned…

Travelocity and CheapTickets are owned by same company. This time booking, I had to change my plan, so I used to virtual assistant to cancel my reservation at a hotel. The virtual assistant was absolutely horrible. Very hard to get anywhere with it and once I did I canceled, and apparently the cancellation notice didn't go through to the direct party of Travelocity. The hotel received notification and when I talk to them they had canceled my reservation. Then I received an email from Travelocity asking me about my trip two days into what should have been my stay there at that hotel. Upon receiving this email, I went online through the virtual agent to see where my refund was and after getting nowhere there I spoke with two separate agents who left me on hold for over an hour trying to reach the hotel they said. I called the hotel. The hotel answered directly and gave me my confirmation of cancellation number. And they said that the company does this all the time!
Unbelievable!
Now the refunding a partial amount of my initial expense. But I still lose out. I imagine I'll be going to the better Business bureau to complain about this company.
DO NOT USE THIS TRAVELOCITY OR CHEAP TICKETS! THEY ARE A RIP OFF IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL. I'm so disappointed in this company. I live on social security and they thrive on my pension.

Dat is inderdaad erg vervelend, mijn excuses voor het ongemak.

Echter is het zo dat als je via KLARNA hebt betaald, zij de ticket netjes hebt betaald en van hun dan ook de restitutie krijgt als we de boeking hebben geannuleerd. Omdat zij wel de boeking al hebben betaald vragen ze dus inderdaad wel het geld nu aan jou. Zodra dit tussen KLARNA en ons is opgelost, krijg je een restitutie dus van KLARNA

Je geduld en medewerking wordt zeer op prijs gesteld.
Ik hoop je zo voldoende te hebben geïnformeerd

Grappig Farida want jij was degene die heeft gezegd dat ik niks hoef te betalen, nadat je de boeking hebt geannuleerd. Dit hoefde niet omdat jullie wel vaker dubbelboekingen krijgen en het dan heel helder is dat dat niet de bedoeling is. Ik heb zowel KLM als Klarna gevraagd hoe dit zit en beiden geven aan dat Cheaptickets bepaald of ik wel of niet iets moet betalen na de annulering en niet, zoals je nu weer zegt, Klarna. Of zoals eerder door collega’s van jou, KLM of zelfs dat mijn bank iets moet doen. Ik vind het nog steeds schandalig dat jullie als organisatie blijkbaar geen idee hebben wat jullie juiste informatie is, iedere keer krijg ik weer een ander antwoord, zolang jullie maar niets hoeven te betalen. Dus nog steeds, nooit meer via Cheaptickets boeken
