Wheel & tyre cleaner is rubbish product which does not work. Frankly, it would not clean melted butter off a plate under boiling water. Even using a brush with the product did not clean off brake dust. I returned it to the shop anx advised them to bin it and stop selling the product so as not to disappoint customers. Oh, but it does smell nice 😡

I’ve only tried the tire shine. With that being said, the main problem I couldn’t get past was the smell of it. If you just put a small amount on a rag and then when your done toss in your back seat floor. That is all you will smell for the next month. Get it on you bare hands in few hours you will be so tired of smelling it. I ended up giving it away to someone and it doesn’t do a better job than any of the other products that have no smell. I’m sure not to many pro detailers are using there stuff. Also the price of their stuff doesn’t match the quality of work you get from it.

First order of $350 took a month to receive and second order of $60 came damaged and my Fedex man said he was sending it back to them as damaged. Now they say it’s my problem. So I never received any products and they won’t send a new shipment. I wouldn’t order thru them. Customer service is horrible.

I own a detailing business, almost all of my supplies are chemical guys. The prices are so worth it for what it is. Totally recommend it!

I mistakenly ordered an orbital grinder 220 V....I was not aware that 220 was european power. My mistake. I called and told them I received a model with a european plug and asked if I can exchange it for one a US model. I was told NO final sale. I told them I was not looking for a refund, just an exchange and I would pay the difference if the US model was more expensive. Again NO. I asked to speak to speak to a manager. I was told NO. So this company wants to keep my money for a product I cannot use and could care less about customer satisfaction. I made a mistake but they should also could have reached out to inform me that it could not be used in the US. Don't buy anything from this company.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Chemical Guys has been extremely disappointing. My order took approximately two weeks just to ship. When the package finally arrived, the wrong item was sent.

I immediately contacted customer service and was approved for a replacement, which I appreciate. However, I have now been waiting several more days with no clear resolution timeline, and it appears I may need to wait another couple of weeks to receive the correct item. This means over a month total just to receive what I originally ordered.

Mistakes can happen, but long shipping delays combined with incorrect orders and slow replacement processing create a very poor customer experience. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend ordering unless significant improvements are made in fulfillment accuracy and response time.

Gave them 1 star only because I couldn’t give them zero stars. My order was shorted items and their customer service AI left me in an endless loop after asking me to submit a bunch of information (which I did). The products were no better than I could pick up off the shelf at any other store.

I purchased an exterior detailing kit. Before I received it they emailed me marketing materials that showed the same kit I just purchased from them for $30 dollars less. Here is their response.

I called them and they told me that’s their policy and that I was free to return it if I don’t like it- that is exactly what I have done and will never be do business with them again.

Nice scent air fresheners, but you're lucky if it lasts a day. This is the best example of skimpflation I have ever come across. The product used to be good, but not anymore.

The company sent me the wrong order. When I called customer service they told me I needed to submit a claim. They sent me an email with the link. When I got there, I had to jump through their hoops to try to get approved. Once I was approved, I needed to send the wrong package back to them, and they would not do anything until they received it. Feels like I'm setting myself up for a repeat performance. Meanwhile I paid for the wrong product. A simple, we're sorry for the inconvenience and we'll send you the right product today, like other reputable companies have dealt with me before, when it was their fault.

Recieved the wrong item. Contacted chemical guys and placed a claim but i was not able to upload photos for the claim. Now I’m stuck with some car wash soap when i really wanted the caddy!

Chemical guys has the worst service an shipping ive ever delt with,an thats saying alot. I ordered from them 2 weeks go by still In C.A. an a week to get here so 3 weeks to get a product from them that you know they have on hand. I called the service office a couple times an it was same answer evey time its going out today

I experienced horrible customer service because I could not provide sufficient evidence of purchasing a Brand-New $75 64-oz Jug of Diablo Wheel cleaner that started leaking while still in its cellophane wrapper. They would not replace it. Mind you, I have been a long-standing customer who has spent thousands of dollars on their products over the past 12 -13 years. NO MORE! I will no longer give these cretins another red cent!

Bought a combo leather cleaning/conditioner product online. Took a while to get them when I opened the box very strong chemical smell. Turned out Conditioner had leaked and outer zip back had 2' tear. Tried to get return confirmation for them, and kept waiting for a code to be sent. tired 3 times. Then told them of the odor when opening box and didn't want to use product in my car. Wound up jumping thru multiple hoops and turns out my 'agent' was AI. Long story short, I'm eating the product and wont use. Don't trust the chemistry. And they are not BBB registered BTW. I just found out why. My advice, stay away from online purchases and return attempts. I complete nightmare.

Their website said I would receive 35% off if i provided my email which i did, and received an email stating “You’re in. Unlock 35% Off Now. After adding two items to cart it would not provide the promised discount. After chatting with a rep and even providing screenshot clearly showing the above promised discount they would not honor it. Instead claiming it was only UP TO 35% which clearly isn’t what the email shows. Nothing in the email mentions Up to 35% it clearly says unlock 35% off now.
I don’t have time for misleading advertising as there are too many other reputable companies to do business with. Would not recommend Chemical Guys to anyone.

Same story as others - the customer service is TERRIBLE. I ordered Dec 2 and, like the last few reviews said, didn't ship out Dec 12, now it is lost in an Amazon shipping warehouse. I tried calling Chemical Guys and no matter what option you choose, no one answers and it automatically hangs up on you after 2 minutes. Tried emailing AND chat - only get AI responses that claim they will escalate to someone else.

Atrocious. All I can say about the company. I certainly hope the products are decent, and well worth the wait. Both Car Candy and ACP had products at my house within three days. This has been a week, no shipment updates. The website says 1-3 days, so I asked about cancelling the order because it exceeded their time range and was told that cancellations are not possible and I can wait for it, then ask for a refund.... like I would trust that. (ha!). When pushed for a day for it to ship, I was told that Black Friday and Cyber week had them behind (3 weeks after) and they couldn't provide a date. Essentially I was told "you're getting it, want it or not. And you'll get it when you get it."

Ordered on December 2nd. Gave them some time due to holiday. Started inquiring after a week. Only response was AI generated. Today is the 14th and supposedly it’s coming today. They use Amazon shipping even when it’s from the website. Which makes it difficult to track. I will never order anything from their website and frankly I would think twice about their products after research. The sad thing is they ship from somewhere less than two hours away from me. But they are so poorly ran that they can’t even get the orders out in a timely manner or respond to customers.

It’s been over a week since I placed my order, and they haven’t even started preparing it yet. Their website mentions 1-3 business day delivery - what a joke. Customer service was polite, but absolutely useless. I will not be buying anything through their website, especially considering that you have to PAY return shipping and restocking fee.

13 days to receive 2 items. Only ai responses to inquiries
