You cannot gain anything by working with them, you can only lose. Let me explain - they are not a tour operator. They act like a broker between the tour operators and you. Some of the brokers have exclusive cabin inventory and exclusive pricing but they have neither. Moreover they try to talk a lot to give you an impression that they are helping you, but that is just their way to make you feel that they are adding value in this internet age where everything is available freely. You should search Google for the top tour operators and then go to their individual websites to find the best up to date information. These guys do the same and then try to add a little bit mark up.

It's taken a while to get around to writing this review. Last march 2024 I had the most amazing Antarctic expedition with Chimu. Everything was so professional, from the staff to the ship, food and equipment.
Thank you Chimu for a trip of a lifetime.

Karen from Chimu organised our itinerary and everything went without a problem.
The guides were friendly and knowledgeable and pick ups were always on time and the activities planned were exceptional.
We went from Buenos Aries, Rio, Lima,Machu Pichu Cusco and Lake Titicaca finishing in Santiago.
All the accommodation was exceptional

This was an outstanding adventure.Gavin Breeze was very helpful in making it happen. My daughter and I stayed in Ushuaia 2 nights arranged by Gavin. Crossing the Drake Strait was challenging both ways but worth it considering the amazing sights we saw in Antarctica including icebergs, glaciers, penguins, whales, seals, and birds.Ocean Albatros, crew, talks and food were great. I especially enjoyed walking on the continent.

I used Chimu Adventures to book my Antarctica Expedition on Aurora Expeditions. The whole endeavor was smooth from start to finish. I felt personally recognized and valued, and my questions were answered promptly. There were no surprises (welcomed or not) and I felt well prepared for my trip. And it was the trip of a lifetime.

We had a wonderful experience with Chimu Adventures, having booked an Intrepid cruise to Antarctica. The arrangements made through Chimu were very easy. They responded very quickly to all my questions. And the trip itself was perfect. It was the trip of a lifetime. The scenery was spectacular, the excursions were incredible, the penguins were lovable, the staff on the ship was great, and everything went off without a hitch. I have nothing negative to say about any part of the adventure. We wished the trip had lasted longer!

This is one of the most efficient tour agencies on the planet. Perfectly coordinated, excellent guides and accommodations, a well thought out experience by the knowledgeable staff. If you're thinking about it, book it!!!

Went as planned which we were very grateful for. The only drama was the tight scheduling of some of our flights and having to run to get to next gate on time. Latam airline did very well and all our luggage arrived on time . The cruise on OceanEndeavour was truly amazing; the ice, the wildlife and the professional enthusiastic crew made our experience very memorable. Thanks Chimu

Very easy to work with. I booked at the last minute and everything was done very quickly and efficiently. Karen the travel agent was very obliging and got all the arrangements made in a tight timeframe.

After having a terrible experience with a travel agent recently (who let us down with his organisation of our South American trip) and who has been organising our family trips for over 20 years, I called Chimu Adventures and spoke to Karen Scholes - she was fantastic. Within 1 hour we had our South American trip organised. Karen was reliant, gave great advice and suggestions. She always returned calls and replied to our emails very quickly.
