Chipolte LACK of Customer Service

First I would like to commend CHIPOLTE for assuming that we ALL keep our receipts as if we are EXPECTING COLD food, for leaving Comments on their Website. Fact is if the Food is Cold, and a Burrito Bowl is 50% Rice, that is called Poor Customer Service, that translates into I am looking for somewhere else to eat.
Chipolte, should concentrate on QUALITY Service. It's NOT Rocket Science. Chipolte, Wildomar CA. 92595

I’m so sick of this location on Alps Rd in Athens! Either they act like you asked for their social security number when you request extra protein that you are paying for it they completely screw the order up. I ordered Al Pastore chicken with white rice only through Uber Eats and they send me a bowl of SLOP! Wilted lettuce a bucket of corn black beans burned bottom of the pot chicken, cheese and sour cream I didn’t ask for any of this, then their phone rings with no answer just an AI that can’t help show this place stayed in business so long is Amazing I’m done with them I will stick with Willys

Stopped by around lunchtime and was surprised how quiet it was - barely any line, which was nice. The food itself was fine, but honestly, the portions felt a little light. That's kind of why I always order in person at Chipotle though - if you do it online, they tend to skimp even more. The dining area could've used a wipe-down; a few of the tables were kinda dirty. Plenty of seating, though, so no complaints there. All in all, a pretty average Chipotle experience - nothing terrible, nothing amazing.

Chipotle…sold Out in Santan Valley

Chipotle…Santan Valley, AZ…No matter what time I go 11:30am…12:30pm…2pm…4:30pm…6pm…this time 8:30pm there is an expected wait (popular eatery..generally 15 mins or less) but for me no matter the time they are out of rice or a particular entre’ and it will be a 20-min wait or they have sold out...scraping the bottom of a pan giving you some fatty meat that is more like meat bubble gum and less like meat and some meager add on portions like guac or sour cream…how can you be sold out of brown rice and lettuce or steak at 8:30pm and express concerns that are met with a wonderful smile and a shrug of the shoulders and a meek apology followed by the $30 charge.., I am not a victim I am a volunteer…

I went to the 21st avenue chipotle and I had orders for my whole family of 4 and they told me they cannot do 4 orders and 2 at a time
they told me to stand in line again for the other order.
what kind of service is this. I work in retail and we dont do that to our customers . Thats why no one wants to go
to this fast food place. I am not ever going to chipotle

I took my son for his regular burrito

I took my son for his regular rice, chicken, and cheese burrito at the Chipotle location on Rt 59(Sutten Rd.), and the whole place seemed different. For one, thewhole crew was totally flipped from majority latino and black, to 99% young white kids. Not making it a race thing, but it was a surprise. Now, usually the burrito is a nice size and my son only needs 1. But, this kid made the burrito and it was tiny. It was so small that I had to order a second so my boy would get full. I was so disappointed.

Not a great first experience

So this was my first visit ever to Chipotle. I told this to the server and told her I just wanted a small nacho while waiting for some prescriptions to be filled. She pulled out a big paper boat like bowl. I asked for something much smaller and was to k d this was the smallest. I chose some rice and beans... she had to go somewhere else because everything that was in front of me was dried up and almost empty. I told her I wasn't interested in a protein and she continued to tell me the proteins I could choose from. They all looked dried up and nasty. I had her stir up the steak and said to put a little of that toward the side. I asked her 2 times to reduce the amount on her scoop before adding. Then sauces and pico and finally cheese...I skipped the brown guacamole. Food taste texture review: seasonings were good in rice and beans though the rice was undercooked (plastic like texture). The steak was disgusting and even my dog turned up her nose. It was powdery and gave off a liver like aftertaste....YUCK!!!! The warm food was not even warm. Not even room temp. The cold ingredients were not particularly cold. Everything was the same temp like at the end of a picnic when you just know you were gonna getvsick from eating it. (Thank God I didnt). The large chip bag I bought with it (Remember I went in wanting nachos) ...they were crisp and tasted good but saw smaller than the free chips that come with every carry out from my local Mexican restaurant. The food was fair. Way too much food as I never wanted a meal. For over 15.00 with no drink my small nachos snack turned into a non pleasant experience. I wont be going back to Chipotle....EVER.

Terrible online service with charging

Terrible online service with charging. Chipotle charged my bank account FOUR times (and yes I only clicked “Submit Order” once). They charged my account over $200 and the order didn’t even go through! I tried catting with the chatbot “Pepper” (how creatively stupid) on the Chipotle website. TOTAL FAIL. “Pepper” couldn’t solve my problem then redirected me to a human rep who never even answered, even after 10 minutes of me typing “hello? Is there anyone there?” Etc. Ultimately I called and got a Chipotle human on the phone who said the charges would be reversed in a “few hours” and to “try a different card next time.” I was stunned that he had the audacity to turn this back on me and make this fiasco seem like my fault. Now I am waiting at the Sarasota Chipotle on Fruitville, and the line is out the door for this goy slop. 20 minutes waiting and only halfway to the front.

Stole my food AND my money

The doordash driver stole my food, taking a picture of a different restaurant's order sitting at the office door. I contacted customer support on the site, and the robot just said customer support was notified. When I requested a refund the request was rejected, saying "we unfortunately can't provide refunds for every experience that isn't satisfactory" and the conversation was automatically ended.

A message about Branding and E. Coli discontinuation

Poor respect for sociopolitics in the branding environment. Fraudulent practices with the market they are in isn't normal or cool. Branded "mexican" is a bad reflection of the ingredients used, systems relied upon, and relationships with key American personnel.

They would not cancel or refund an order placed online.

I will never place and order with such an inflexible company. I had to call my credit card company to void this order.

Last two times I placed an order for pickup they lost my order and I had to wait to receive the order. I will never purchase any further from this company again in my lifetime.

Horrible slop bowls

Ironically the dictionary word of the year for 25' was SLOP. AKA-Chipotle is just that. Shocked that this POS franchise entity has a business model that is based on providing the likes of a "burrito bowl" w/zero tortilla nor nacho chips that is basically elementary school cafeteria lukewarm tasteless slop in a bowl of various items that is inedible AND a friggin' $13. I admit I was in town in a hurry near the nearby Costco on my way to a comedy gig & needed just a bit of food to satiate my belly. Their tripe is barely food-it is total garbage. How this company remains in business is a cosmic mystery-total junk in every way. Avoid at all costs.

Overall Chipotle service

Overall Chipotle service, quality, and staff has gone completely downhill. Regardless of the restaurant I walk into, it is dirty, staff is inattentive, if ordering catering, it is near impossible unless 26 hours in advance and if you are able to order it, rarely ready on time, or you are ignored when trying to pick it up. This experience is systemic - I travel multiple states and the experience is consistent among varied locations. I refuse to order chipotle for my customers ever again, and will not go personally. Thousands of dollars of revenue the company clearly has no interest in - not to mention the word of mouth on how bad the service is. Had to tell the phone system the toilet was clogged so it would transfer me to speak with the restaurant - ridiculous!

Incompetent employees


I made a pickup order 10 minutes before arriving at the restaurant so it would be ready on time. When I got there, I went to the pickup counter, but my food was not there. I then went to the front counter and waited another 10 minutes until a worker finally asked what I needed. I told them the name on the order, and they proceeded to throw the food into the bag and hand it to me. By the time I received my food, it was cold and damaged. I am very unsatisfied, especially since Chipotle is on the pricier side, and I had to deal with disrespectful workers. If you don’t want to work at Chipotle, then don’t! I do not recommend going to the Chipotle in Greensburg off Route 30 it is truly a waste of time and money.

Not a good experience. Excessive salt

Not a good experience. Way too much salt. High risk eating your food regularly.

Many American‑style fast‑casual chains like Chipotle do use higher sodium and sugar levels than what’s typical in the UK. That’s partly because:

• Recipes are standardised across countries, so the UK often inherits US formulations.
• Salt and sugar are used to boost flavour and shelf stability in large‑scale operations.
• Drinks and sides are a major profit centre, so heavily seasoned food can indirectly drive sales.

I’ve been a customer at Chipotle for years, mainly at the Tottenham Court Road and Google Street locations. Unfortunately, the experience has gone steadily downhill, and this latest visit will be my last.

The biggest issue is the excessive salt. I’ve been raising this concern since 2025, and nothing has changed. Whether it’s the vegetarian rice bowl I usually order or, in this case, the chicken bowl I tried, the salt levels are overwhelming. It’s not just a matter of taste — it genuinely feels unhealthy. My watch even flagged unusually high sodium intake after eating there with high blood pressure.

It’s disappointing to see yet another American chain relying on high salt and sugar. It feels like customers are being pushed toward buying more drinks just to cope with the seasoning. It’s widely known how unhealthy this style of food can be, but I had hoped Chipotle would be different.

I’ve given them multiple chances. I even overlooked the change in the vegetarian option, which used to include red peppers but now only comes with green peppers and onions. But the salt issue is the final straw. A single meal shouldn’t feel like it’s putting you at risk of a stroke or heart problems, especially when guidelines warn against consuming more than 5g of sodium per day — and this meal was clearly far above that.

London has plenty of places to eat, and my health matters. Chipotle is tasty, but the risks simply aren’t worth it anymore.

I binned my food today. What a waste.
