In der heutigen Zeit, dann es doch nicht sein, dass wenn ich via Citrix Viewer eine VDI-Session aufbaue und ich die Fenstergrösse anpasse (Fenster grösser ziehen), dass dann gleich die ganze Citrix-Session einen Absturz fabriziert.

Citrix ist das HCL Notes unter den VDI Anbietern. Wie kommt das:

Zunächst muss man wohl die herausragende Kompetenz der Mitarbeiter von Citrix loben. Weder bekommen diese sehr klugen Experten es geregelt, dass Tastatureingaben von einem Mac an eine Citrix sauber übergeben werden (Stichwort Sonderzeichen), noch hält der Citrix Fachmann es für notwendig, den EPA Client unter Linux auch als RPM Paket anzubieten. Warum auch, der Kunde der teuer Geld für das hochgradig instabile Produkt Citrix ausgibt, schafft es sicher noch, sich das alles selbst zurecht zu basteln.

Kurzum: Ich bin froh, dass es nicht meine Firma ist, die das Geld für diesen Moloch zum Fenster rauswirft.

We use it at work. It's very slow and has so many connection issues. It will randomly log you out and constantly has issues logging back in.

The Linux client expects the user to install obsoleted dependencies. I managed to barely make it work from the cli, but it keeps misbehaving when I switch to windowed mode and back to full screen. Latest version also hijacks keyboard shortcuts from Intellij Idea.

Horrible experience

Forced to upgrade to automate workflows last week, I installed a Real Estate Investment pack and nothing else. Unable to map fields to an imported file, I had to immediately open a support ticket, which is still unresolved.

Canceling the account yesterday, I made contact to request an automation error process that is generating 100+ notifications a day stop, to have the chat agent claim it could not be done manually; I just had to wait until the account cancels after midnight tonight.

Needless to say, their quality of service is woeful at best. Add a no refund policy, and it's crooked.

We use this for work.very poor interaction with other systems and cannot even review on the platform. Have to come out and do it via app store outside company horrible as keeps crashing and doesn't work well with two screens as interrupts the typing

I have always had difficulties receiving support from this company but today was ridiculous. I called this number beginning at 11:59am PH (954) 267-3000 It's 12:45 and I still have not spoken to anyone or been directed to receive help. I selected Finance payables and receivables no answer with a message asking me to call back later. I call customer service and I'm directed back to finance payables and receivables.

I try the online chat and they send me to a portal where the data has not been updated since 2019.

NOTE: They have excellent products it's just their customer service is HORRIBLE. There is no one to contact. There chat bots are NOT helpful AT ALL!

Company advertises its tool suite as security-centric, but most downloads (of citrix workspace for instance) trigger security alerts because they do not follow modern web and application best practices. There is a Microsoft Store version which does not trigger alerts, but for some reason it is a very heavy client application, and it's not exactly well referenced. All in all this just does not inspire trust for all the security promises.

Worst Support ever.
HP and Microsoft is a dream compared to that incompetent support organization. And even they only deserve one star.

The only thing the support is competent in is requiring logs for everything and wasting time.
Wouldn't be a problem if the software would work and wouldn't have bugs and issues.

I contacted them via their website and did get a response. However, when I replied to explain the problem, there was no further help forthcoming.

No fixes.
Poor product with poor support.
Do not buy.

Citrix is horrible. If you want consent problems and complaints even after following their best practices then go ahead and setup Citrix. It often will not allow users to log in because of some weird disconnect issue and IT has to go in, find the session without any username associated to it and kill the session on one of the citrix app servers. Just another layer of things that can go wrong. Citrix support has looked at it and can not fix.

Worst support i saw in my total experience. Looks senior management is least bother for customers issues. Same experience every time with Citrix support, calling Citrix support is waist of time....

Customer support is poor and slow to respond. We have had multiple vendors unable to download files from the Citrix ShareFile web system. It is almost useless. Although 2 support techs personally agreed that they observed the problem, along with ourselves and 2 of our offsite vendors -- Citrix keeps asking for more. Then, when they finally state we have observed the problem, never give status updates or workarounds. Still waiting for the fix and the status.

Garbage. May as well use 90s AOL.
