We went to Clacton pier and had the pleasure of meeting Abi- such a friendly member of staff who was brilliant with the children!

Had a great day at the pier. It is a fantastic day out for everyone with so much to do. The staff were really helpful, especially a lady called Tina who went above and beyond to help us.

Visited the Broadwalk the other day and just wanted to say a massive thank you to Terry and Denise for their professionalism and courtesy. We use the pier and Broadwalk alot and always bring family and friends down and having staff like these make it a better experience! Thank you

I went to Clacton pier on 9th of march, it was such a lovely day. I went on the rides and Samuel was absolutely fantastic, so funny and out going, always has a smile on his face. Every time I saw him, he was always dancing to music, speaking to the customers and just generally one of the best workers there! He definitely should have the opportunity to progress his career! You need more happy outgoing people like that working within your company! I come across a few miserable staff members that clearly didn’t want to be there! BIG UP SAMUEL! :) xx

Visited the Boardwalk at Clacton today and would like to just say a huge thank you to Denise and Jane for making our experience even better than we expected. These guys are an asset to your team. Thank you!

Had a good time and workers were friendly, especially Samuel who was working on the dodgems and was very helpful, lost my belongings in the dodgem and he handed it back to lost property for me to collect the next day, didn’t think it would be handed in, but it was 😊

Great time, Clive looked after the kids on the rides and madeesure everyone was ok.
Half price wristbands made it an affordable day for a family that we couldn't do normally.

Calliam was a lovely and was very polite my son loved going on every ride for his 1st time

We regularly visit Clacton pier and arcade workers are extremely polite and fast. Always someone at hand if toys ect get stuck.
Terry Hawkins stood out from the crowd and goes above and beyond, always alert and wondering around helping everyone.

Terry Hawkins is a great employee at Clacton Pier, he was very helpful and caring esp to children. How I wish all workers are the same as him making it more a better place for kids and family to have fun! Cant wait to go back there.

From the moment we arrived until we left the staff made me feel really uncomfortable.
I have been many times over the last few years and have had 4 birthday parties there. This year my son asked if we could have a couple of play dates for his birthday instead of one big party.
So we planned a few days out, soft play being one of them! So I paid for 6 adults and 8 children to play and I brought fries, drinks, pizzas and the adults all brought drinks. I alone spent over £150 there today for my son & daughter, their 2 cousins and 4 friends.
As it’s my son’s birthday this week, his cousin gave him a balloon. When I collected my tickets I was given the 3rd degree about how I can’t have a party or a cake. We were just there to play!!!!!
The only thing we had was a normal small balloon, which I put on the floor away by my coats so it was barely visible.
Yet twice a member of staff came over to ask me to hide it- I had already put it away- nobody could see it unless they were staring at my coat pile. Also I noticed quite a few times staff members eyeing up my bag- which just contained over night clothes. It felt very intrusive.
We were made to feel really unwelcome & uncomfortable. And due to this, that will be the last time I attend your play center. And we have been very loyal customers up till now!!

We took our 5 children to the Clacton pier soft play, it states a child 13+ is classed as an adult. So we paid for our 4 smaller children £8 each and then the adults (myself, dad and daughter). We was told at the gate when showing our tickets our 13 year old couldn’t go on any of the equipment as she’s over 12. We stated that me and dad would be escorting our smaller ones on the equipment as adults and we couldn’t just leave our 13 year old at the table the whole time. We was going to be there 3+ hours!
(She’s the height and size of a 10 year old anyway- we even offered to pay for her to help with her siblings) as even thoe they class 13 as an adult she’s still a child. We was then told by the manager that she essentially had to stay at the table the whole time, and it was in the policy. After checking said policy- that was not in it. We ended up not even going in and getting a refund and had 4 very up set children. It makes no sense, you are saying that an adult is over 13 on your board but you can apparently only escort a child if you are over 18? but it said all children have to be looked after, so who’s going to sit with our 13 year old CHILD as she’s not allowed with me, dad or siblings, and we can’t be at the table with her plus helping the little ones. The manager said ‘I keep telling them to update the board but they don’t’ So surely until it’s been updated It should have been honoured. So if you have a very young teenager and smaller children the teenager isn’t allowed to help the smaller ones, even thoe the board states 13+ is an adult. It says no where that you have to be 18 to escort them. It’s nothing to do with the height or weight of a teenager as adults are allowed to go round with children. We come as a family, for a lovely afternoon. Never will I be returning!

It's not a bad pier
you can walk to the end pretty much any day its always open.
has good views.
they have free firework displays to.
its an OK place to view the air show from also.
you can buy food from there if needed.

A lovely holiday with my family great beach and lovely worker's on the pier especially a guy named ryan smith lovely guy and made the experience much better very fun would recommend

Absolutely fantastic day out for the entire family!

I've visited the pier several times with my family, and it never disappoints. I highly recommend booking the Big Day Out Bands in advance—you save £10 on the day, which is a great deal! For just £20, we enjoyed unlimited rides, 18 holes of Adventure Golf, Jurassic Pier entry, a Wheel Experience ride, 5 video game credits, and 50 arcade prize tickets. It’s incredible value, especially with the rising cost of living.

The day was packed with fun and excitement for everyone. We’ll definitely be back soon! Plus, the area has plenty of great food options to explore once you're done. Highly recommended!

Lovely time on the pier. So many people having fun. Yes, it gets a bit mucky and I would like to see it cleaned more often.

The Jurassic Pier 4D experience was brilliant and huge fun.

A big shout out to Corinne in the amusement arcade. She is so patient and good with the kids who are making life-changing decisions about which sweets to have.

All of the staff were amazing. Kind with the kids, which is all we are looking for.

We went there Wednesday and paid 90 pound for 3 wristbands hardly any rides where open, and u had to wait 44 minutes for a member of staff to come and start the 3 rides that where open, so all in all the kids got to go on 3 rides and it took a hours
