I’ve had a very positive experience with Clarendons during my tenancy. Communication has always been clear, professional, and easy, which made everything run smoothly.

A special thank you to Kajsa Paulrud, who has been incredibly helpful and dependable throughout. Kajsa was always approachable, kind, and quick to assist whenever I needed support, which made a real difference. It’s reassuring to deal with someone who genuinely cares and follows things through.

Our property manager Luke has been very…

Our property manager Luke has been very proactive in getting things sorted for as there where a few issues still outstanding . It has been a great experience so far and the contractors were very professional and got what they could done sorted right away. Thank you Luke at Clarendons

Fantastic support – nothing was ever too much trouble

We’ve had a fantastic experience with Clarendons Canterbury, and in particular with Nathan. He’s always been on hand to help, often going above and beyond to support us. From helping us prepare the property to arranging weekend access and being incredibly responsive to requests for advert changes, nothing has ever been too much trouble. His expert advice has really made the process smooth and as stress-free as selling a house can be. Would highly recommend Nathan and the Clarendons team.

Luke is a star!⭐️

Luke has only recently taken over as property manager at Clarendons, and I’m already so impressed. I’d had a few ongoing issues with my rental property for a while, and within his first week, Luke had everything sorted. He’s been proactive, responsive, and professional throughout. So easy to deal with. Couldn’t be happier with the service!

I’m currently selling my home with…

I’m currently selling my home with Clarendons, and Nathan has been fantastic throughout the process. He’s professional, friendly, and always keeps me informed, making everything feel smooth and stress-free.

It’s clear that Nathan and the Clarendons team genuinely care about their clients — I’d happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive estate agent.

Nathan our hero

Nathan has gone above and beyond he's role to help us ready our land for sale. There have been so many steps in the project that we simply couldn't have managed alone. Nathan has tirelessly tackled multiple obstacles with his persistence, friendly and positive approach. What and star and our hero, Nathan we can't thank you enough. Charlotte and Lynda.

Luke has been a great help

Luke has been a great help after a long drawn out issue with our ex landlords sadly. Once Luke took over he has quickly and efficiently sorted everything out.

Absolutely awful service

Absolutely awful service, from tenterden branch,
Granted they was a different estate agents up till recently, but no improvement with the new and old team merging if anything it’s got worse.

I rented a flat in Ashford Kent , which had numerous problems, from September 2024 when I was given my keys and opened the door to the worst dirt and grime after a “ professional cleaner has been in” as a new single mum to a 7 month old at the time I was deverstated I spent 8 days cleaning it properly to make it safe for my daughter to be able to live there.
It took two months for a broken window to be fixed ( second floor flat with a child who was mobile ( the window had no handle to lock and it was late autumn early winter so you can imagine!)
I spent from November 2024 till June 2025 emailing and calling regarding the ceiling paint was falling in to my daughter’s cot - ignored numerous times until I had to get a bit more firm!
Then I had a burst pipe in the loft, well… they kept telling me it was a roof leak ( we had no rain we had a heatwave !) 9 days it took to send a electrician to check electrics where safe as water was coming out the bathroom light cord,
Which then travelled to the front room, kitchen master bedroom, and cupboard causing numerous amounts of mould, I’ve had to throw away around £600 worth of personal property , I was spending around 14 days cleaning mould broken paint off the floor and emptying bowls and buckets of water and trying to keep my child safe who I had to bath in the dark. And the constant damp smell !
When a plumber finally came to check the pipes it took him five minutes to fix!
The damage and cost they caused from not doing their job in the first place is crazy!
I thought estate agents you was meant to make money not loose it?!
I then had Ella over to speak to me in person as arguments etc where getting heated over the phone- I will put my hands up and say I lost my rag once, but that’s after having Kajsa speak to me numerous times like utter rubbish! Enough was enough , then Ella basically said - you have to be careful when renting we all know each other and it can be made very hard for you to be accepted to rent else where, or get your deposit back!! What a lovely threat to a tenant who just wants a safe home for her child!

Fast forward more workmen to correct other damage - “ the office said your a right nuisance but your actually really alrite” - so they openly moan about their clients to other staff/contractors.

I then decided enough was enough I have to move and find a good estate agents ! Wards ! Absolutely flawless service start to finish, lovely team lovely people! Go to them absolutely! Run from this “ estate agents ( the tenterden one ) I can’t speak for the others!

I then made two calls and a email to the head office to speak with the director, I was told he would contact me , two months on no call no email.

I felt fearful to even speak with the Tenterden branch and have walked on egg shells ever since,

12th August I gave the keys back two days earlier then agreed, I had made sure it was scrubbed to perfection, I left two beautiful blinds for the landlady/tenant it was 50x better then what I moved in too , I have pictures from when I moved in to how I left it!

Called regarding my deposit as I’ve not heard anything,

Been told about a “apparent leak” and the Lino from removals ( which may I add was never laid properly was never sealed was just a bit of cut off under the washing machine which the removals have said they will correct / fix!

But I guess the Tenterden branch don’t want to let me go just yet and want to keep causing more and more upset and more drama they thrive from drama I think it keeps them going in the office!

But point to my story, if you want a clean peaceful home and your sanity , avoid them at all costs.

If any management want to deal with my complaint you have my details I’ve left them enough times, I’ve had to now resort to social media to attempt a response ! I’ll be surprised if they even read this though!

We cannot recommend Clarendons enough…

We cannot recommend Clarendons enough especially Leigh.

Initially, we were purchasing a property through Clarendons which unfortunately feel through due to third party probate. Leigh was professional, understanding and patient and worked with us to try and get things over the line. When the time came to remarket our property we had no hesitation to use Clarendons. Their photos are very good but what we really liked was their virtual tour allowing you to get a 360 view through the property. It's the best.

I was very impressed with Clarendons…

I was very impressed with Clarendons and Izzy Ross in particular, who is a true professional. Very helpful, courteous, polite and with excellent customer service. The referencing was challening due to the dreadful referencing agency Blink-UK but she really helped me through their stressful process.
