Lack of communication
I viewed a property a week ago and put in an offer the following day for the full asking price. Two days later I received a generic email advising all those who made offers that there was an issue with one of the services and to submit a full and final offer, based on this, and we would be notified by the end of play on Thursday.
No update Thurs. I emailed on Friday - no reply. On Monday I checked Rightmove and the house was 'sold'. I later received an email from the estate agent with the news.
I am a cash buyer with no chain and initially, the agent seemed helpful and keen to answer my questions about the property. But overall I'm very disappointed by their lack of communication.
