So disappointed with Cofton. This is without doubt one of the best holiday parks in the South West. Spend ££££'s each close down, with one major exception. STAFF! We have been visiting this park for a number of years. The organising of the the food and drinks is quite honestly abysmal. This park opens each year at Easter and is always fully
booked,just as it was this year. The weather was a major disadvantage for the park with grass pitches still open, that left the management team aith a massive challenge. Despite our issues that evening/days, they were totally understood and accepted. 10/10 and thank you. The biggest problems are when you enter the entertainment areas. The bars/restaurant ordering points are TOTALLY INADEQUATE. This evening we were told that the mitchen had ran out of food...this was around 830, but we could order pizza 5 minutes later after a quick phone call to my family, that changes and the very stressed staff said this was now not possible. The queue for the order point for the bar and food was 8 people deep and run by one person.....plenty of videos available, although there was 2 people stood around at the swimming pool re eption that had shut an hour before.....shambles of management in my opinion. This was on top of the previous night at the family club room, must hold 500+ people. 2 people working behind the bar taking orders for food and drinks, yet again many unhappy customers,with little apparent concern by staff. Been coming here for many years and seen this so many times and still no improvement, someone in the senior management needs to desl with it.....send a secret shopper to HRU in Brean and see the staffing numbers in the Bars/restaurant...

Love Cofton, just cant pit up with the lack of customer respect.

Requested a touring pitch next to friends, and were charged £15.00 for the privilege. When we arrived on site, it was about 80% empty, it stayed the same the whole 3 nights we stayed.
In the summer I appreciate the charge, but like this, this time of year it’s pure greed.
I complained, sadly a total waste of time.

Stayed at cofton many times this year and previous years with family! The whole family have come down for new years so big group of us! This time we have brought my one year old son which absolutely loves the entertainment however we are staying in ‘burgundy’ caravan and have discovered some issues. The carpet leading out to the kitchen area is really unsafe especially when having a toodlar who’s very mobile. Photos attached. The in carvan fire is on and not fully working, it’s on hot however is blowing out cold air which is causing a draft in the carvan. Feel really gutted as have stayed many times and absolutely love the site. Just feel our floor area isn’t child proof and my little one has been catching on the loose bits coming from the carpet. Have taken some photos to support my review if needed😀

Don't go to Cofton had 3 nights here and awful electric very expensive when you have it in to days lost electric 4 times number plate recognition bariers don't work a complet shambles stay well clear of the place we will never go again

Have come to Cofton for a number of year and always used a super pitch. This year they improved the super pitch by CHARGING for electricity. This was sold as an improvement. WOW
Also. WiFi, which again is a chargeable addition (understandable) is very very flaky. If you need a reliable internet connection don't book here. Problem is more and more people need a stable internet connection so that's why 2 star (in conjunction with the improved electricity charges),

Lack of tent pitches years ago there was loads now its all about caravans very poor by coften

First time visiting here in the Easter holidays. We had an electric pitch on barn field with our hired motor home. Great site and absolutely immaculate., with the cleanest and nicest toilets/showers I’ve ever seen! Really liked that it was quiet at night, no late night parties keeping us awake. It got extremely busy though, understandable as it was peak season, but felt they crammed too many in for the facilities/amount of staff etc.. great facilities, my sons loved the pump track and football pitch. Fishing was great, tackle shop really friendly and helpful with reasonable prices. Didn’t like the no cash aspect, especially as they had wifi issues and we were stood waiting to pay for a while. We like to budget on holiday and constantly tapping a card you lose track! Food was quite expensive for what it was nice. Staff looked a bit harassed, not sure it a lot were new, as we had to wait quite a while. This was fine, I’ve worked in hospitality and know to be patient. Not everyone is though and I felt sorry for the staff. All in all a great stay, we have also booked to return in one of the static caravans Oct.

We had to contact Cofton to reschedule our holiday after the loss of my son-in-law and they were extremely helpful and accomadating.

I highly recommend this company for their customer experience and future vision of their holiday park
