Do not buy a HiSense TV from them…
Do not buy a HiSense TV from them online. Ours came to us damaged and we only found out when we opened the packaging and turned the tv on. The screen was all pixilated. Comet just passed us on to HiSense to either replace or refund and they have only sent a longwinded email blaming us for “not following the instructions” so instructions to turn on the TV ? Because that’s all we did and it was clearly faulty. So tread very carefully with both HiSense and Comet because both are clearly are happy to send out faulty products and then blame customers even though we gave them all the evidence they requested. Do NOT buy from them. Go to Curry’s or another similar retailer.

However, we’d like to clarify that your order was delivered on 20th February, yet the damage was reported on 30th March—well outside the standard returns or damage-reporting period offered by most retailers, including ours.
Despite this, we made every effort to support you by escalating the matter to HiSense for further assistance, as manufacturers typically handle faults outside the retailer’s return window. While we understand your frustration with their response, we’d like to reassure you that Comet does not sell faulty products knowingly and always aims to resolve issues fairly within our policy terms.
We regret that we couldn’t meet your expectations on this occasion, but we stand by our processes and the support provided. If you’d like to discuss this further, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.
