Have joined a village oil buying group and used for the first time a few months ago. Very helpful with monthly emails and prices, delivery was efficient and i plan to use for future oil purchases

Sharon was an absolute star. She was so helpful in establishing a delivery time and helped us with a minor issue. She was calm and responsive. Their driver who delivered was very good too. Nice oil company to deal with.

Let down on the day of the scheduled delivery because the smaller lorry was in the garage with no willingness to try anything else. I appreciated the apology but to add another week on to the intended delivery was poor.

I recently moved to Compass having been badly let down on two occasions by my previous supplier. They have been a breath of fresh air.

I could not believe how easy it was to get through to them on the phone and place an order rather than have to navigate through lengthy menu options and then wait for ages to be answered which I had to do with my old supplier. The lady I spoke to (Jen) could not have been more helpful, friendly or efficient and confirmed the delivery estimate and price. Both were attractive and competitive.

Having ordered on the Monday, delivery took place on the Thursday which was faster than indicated even though I had no urgency. Compass also sent out an email the afternoon before confirming delivery the next day which I found an effective and reassuring method of confirmation.

The delivery driver from Cardiff arrived around lunchtime as indicated and was both personable and professional and no complaints about our less than hi-tech oil tank!

All in all a seamless and first-rate experience supported by competent and friendly staff. Compass is a relatively new company and I hope they maintain their focus on good customer service. I will be continuing to use them as my supplier. Definitely recommended.

I ordered some oil through Boilerjuice and Compass delivered it. Firstly the driver was rude, moaned about where the tank was ( never had a problem in 17 years) then to top it off he broke a valve in my tank. This resulted in me not having heating or hot water for two weeks. It cost me over £400 to have the problem fixed as well as the extra electricity I used to try and keep myself and disabled son warm. I was offered a refund on the oil but was still left over £200 out of pocket. I would not recommend this company purely on the attitude of the driver and the fact he lied about breaking the valve. The office staff, particularly Craig, were helpful but that didn't make up for the fact I was not compensated for the weeks we had to endure the cold or the extra money I had to pay out. I will not use Boilerjuice or Compass again.

We purchased 1100 litres of heating oil through Boiler Juice and Compass ended up being the delivery company. The driver refused to pass the hose through our fence in to the front garden where the tank is located. We have had approx 20 deliveries to our property over the years and has never been an issue before and wasn't an issue 5 days later for Cotswold petroleum who carried out the delivery. This review is because of the driver and I would imagine this isn't the 1st complaint he has caused. This ended up costing us and extra £135 for the same amount of oil due to needing it more urgently because of the failed delivery.

Oil was ordered yesterday and delivered today !!

No fuss or drama - just great customer service - again!

Thank you Trevor and John for restoring our faith in Oil Companies. After a horrid experience with Watson Oils (who we've been a customer of for many years) we placed an order with Compass and the difference in service was like night and day.

Compass have been brilliant and we have our old Watson's Oil delivery driver back (It's not just customers that are swapping!). It's so reassuring to be back with a company that puts it's customers first and just does what they say they are going to.
