It is so nice to find a company that offers great, honest, friendly and reliable customer service. We was so pleased with Russel's work that he carried out on our annual service on our boiler last year, we had no hesitation in booking our service with him again. From start to finish he put us at ease and explained everything he was doing and felt completely re-assured and confident in his work. I would have no hesitation in recommending Consumer Gas to anyone.

As a replacement boiler was required, providers were approached for quotes. Chris promptly arrived and immediately his professional manner made me feel comfortable and confident with what he was saying. He even pickup an obvious issue which others had missed. The installation it was carried out professionally, promptly and without any issues. I would have no hesitation in recommend them.

Absolutely great! I telephoned early afternoon as the boiler had stopped working. Russell arrived promptly did a great job and fully explained what was wrong and gave recommendations for replacement (as the boiler is getting on a bit!). Contacted Consumer Gas after my boiler broke down unexpectedly. They came out first thing the next day. Fixed the boiler there and then at a very good price. Chris explained everything, showing me the issue clearly and gave me all the costs up front so that I could make an informed decision.

Consumer Gas fitted our ‘Combi’ boiler about 14 years ago and have since serviced and maintained it, on contract. On the rare occasions we have required a ‘call out’ they have always responded without delay and swiftly resolved the situation.

A couple of weeks ago, when it became clear that we needed to consider replacing the boiler before the onset of winter, we asked Chris to advise, guide and quote on the available options. He was very well informed, helpful and thorough, taking his time to answer our many queries.

We received a written quote by email the same day and he and Paul completed the installation this week. They were very professional and completed the work the same day. Chris and Russ returned the following morning to set up and explain the intricacies of the ‘Nest’ Thermostat - they were very patient with a couple of ‘old timers’ coming to terms with modern technology !!

Having never had a new boiler installed before I set about getting a number of quotes. Having had three visits by engineers I decided to use Consumer Gas. Chris spent over an hour with me explaining everything, going through various options. He explained pros and cons of various boiler types and provided all the information I could ask for. We discussed having a power flush - because a previous company had suggested it was required. Chris explained that it would probably cause more issues that it solves and suggested we wait and see what the state of my water was like before committing to have a clean out. This not only saved me time but also money. The other engineers that visited my house spent less than 10 minutes with me and explained very little. I chose Consumer Gas to fit my new boiler. Chris turned up on time and expertly fitted the boiler. He was meticulous in ensuring that everything was working correctly, fully tested everything and cleaned up what little mess he made before leaving.

While Consumer Gas were not the cheapest quote I had received, I chose them be cause they filled me with confidence that they were the right people for the job. I was not disappointed. Excellent work Consumer Gas, thank you.

We have been using Consumer Gas for a number of years. They installed our previous boiler and Chris came today to replace it after many years of great service. Everything wears out eventually.
We also have our boiler servicing done by them as well.
I would never use anyone else. They are so professional and friendly. They are very knowledgable and explain everything so thoroughly.
Their prices are very competitive and even took all away the old boiler and all the other stuff away leaving me with a sparkly new boiler. Very pleased. As always

Called them with a tired old boiler that needed replacing. Russell suggested a new one to suit my needs, all work done efficiently and with no hassle. Great Job very happy with the result.

Chris and Paul started the job by overlaying all carpets with dust cloths and explaining what they were going to do. They worked swiftly to remove the old boiler and set up the new condensing boiler in its place. Very soon we were hearing the water rushing round the radiators and they checked out the whole system. The previous week a solution was added to the system to clear the pipes and radiators when they were drained down for this new boiler, Chris and Paul were very professional in their approach. We had a historic problem with a couple of the radiators and although there was a big improvement with them we arranged to have some remedial work done.Chris talked it through with us and we decided to change some of the pipe work which was micro bore to improve the flow to these radiators. We are very pleased to say it proved very succesful, we highly recommend Consumer Gas and the team.
