Easy to register and good communication. When I needed to re-sell one of my tickets Cuffe & Taylor replied promptly with full instructions of who to contact to do this.

We won tickets to the Colchester summer series and thought it was extremely well organised and was such a brilliant day/evening from start to finish .
(Only negative if I had to come up with one , was they needed more hot drink stools as the one and only one they had was struggling meaning queues were over 40 mins for a drink .. but that aside ,perfect !!!

Incredible! We went to see Bastille at Colchester Castle Park, and it was a fantastic concert experience. I got to see my favourite band, at a local venue, and at a reasonable price! There were good food and drink options, a well managed merch stall and the event was very organised. A good selection of support acts too!

Poor security wanted to take a bottle of perfume off my friend as it was deemed dangerous yet inside glass bottles of wine were sold and tins of beer which my fiancé was struck in the head with a full tin nearly missing my 8 year old stepdaughter. We was all covered in beer we had three children with us who were traumatised by the experience. Gaps between acts were far too long also

We were in the standing area. We were packed in like sardines, so although we got a 5 star performance from Niall Rogers and Chic, the overcrowding marred the evening. Numerous people were vaping, and nothing was done about it, and a fight broke out near us and security could hardly get through the crowd. As we got more and more squished, I started to feel panicky. We go in the standing area because we like to dance, but there was no room to move. It made us question whether we would come again. My daughter who came with me for the first time, who goes to a lot of events, was shocked at the overcrowding. In the past, if I have felt squished in, I would move off to the back or side of the area, but the whole space was jammed.

Awesome concert by Scissor Sisters at Scarborough Open Air Theatre. Very well organised but disappointed as I Ordered food to seat from Lucky Gyros but nothing came so went online to check order and resubmit and it said was too busy and ordering food was closed, but
£21.50 taken from my credit card.
Sent email requesting refund and had a quick reply wanting further information.
The information requested was so much that I didnt want to waste anymore of my time and felt I was just going round in circles to get my money back.
Lesson learnt, I will not be ordering food to seat again.
On a positive, Scarborough OAT is a great venue.

A truly memorable concert, made even more enjoyable by the friendly and helpful staff. Everybody we came in to contact with were first class.
Only negative was the accessible toilets were not easy to access in a wheelchair

Piece Hall in Halifax is a brilliant venue, nice series of shows there

Have been coming to SOAT since 2018 and usually do at least 2 sometimes 3 concerts per season. We’ve seen some fabulous acts there such as Kylie, Bryan Adams and Frankie Valli, this year it was Michael Buble and Nile Rodger’s. It’s a great venue because its size makes it fairly intimate. The organisation of each event has improved massively over the years. There used to be big queues to enter and leave and all was fairly chaotic but last couple of years it’s been organised and easy. Lastly the staff are all great, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it but I don’t want it to get too busy so I have trouble getting the tickets I want!!

Scarborough Outdoor Theatre- brilliant venue. Saw Nile Rodger’s & Chic. Stunning performance from absolute professionals. The hits just kept coming. Love, love, love.
Venue well organised, with good quality food.
Much nicer experience than a big arena. Been 8 times this season.

Cuffs & Taylor never have a bad show.
We have seen many C&Y events and would highly recommend them. From comedy to “tribute acts” to genuine superstars like Nile Rodgers whom we saw last night at Scarbrough open air .

Fabulous and definitely a great nights entertainment. Sound was top notch

I have visited the open air theatre in Scarborough three times this summer loving every one I’ve watched but last night Nile Rodger’s is a superstar star from start to finish
Your theatre is the best venue I’ve been to for the atmosphere hardworking staff etc food drink loos everything I can’t wait for the next instalment of concerts next year I come to theses shows sometimes on my own I feel that safe thank you

I love gigs at Scarborough open air theatre. The venue is well run and great bands .

The music was fantastic but couldn't see the screen all the time no chance of a stage view

We had a great time at our first accessible concert. Viewing platform was great view and nice to have a screen to watch the artists close up. The bar staff kept coming up regularly to get orders. The entrance could have been better at the lower part of the park. It was quite hilly at parts and exiting the pathway was not lit up and we struggled to know what the ground was like. The artisits were all excellent and Becky hill finished the night with an amazing performance.

Saw Nile Rodgers at Scarborough. What a show - flat out from start to finish playing all the hits you knew he'd written plus many recorded by artists such as Madonna and David Bowie amongst other that you didn't know he'd written. The first support act, James Emmanuel was a great find. He sang some first rate self written songs and I hope he has a great career. The only downside was the lack of clear signage on the seating areas. Too many people thinking the red are was the white one etc and therefore taking ages to find their seats. Perhaps the venue could have colour co-ordinated seating for each area or a cheaper solution would be to paint the seating row labels on the steps in the appropriate colours.

First up the actual music acts and stage etc was brilliant. We saw Becky Hill at Colchester castle and her and her warm ups were brilliant. The down side was the length of time between each act which was around 45 mins which was just too long. However having been to a few outdoor events similar I thought this wasn’t a particularly familiar friendly event at all. When we’ve been to thetford forest for a live nation event you can take a chair, your own food, drinks (with restrictions) which means taking a child a much easier experience. It also gives the child something to stand on so they can actually see the stage. However the events at Colchester castle are completely different. No chairs but you can take a blanket, no outside food or drinks but you can take a water bottle to fill in there. As you’d expect the food and drinks are expensive but it’s frustrating thats the only option and no options to even bring some snacks. The site itself is a completely level field so there are vantage points with any raised ground so anyone at a height disadvantage couldn’t get a better view. Parking was easy but I was surprised that whilst there was security at the entry/exit of the venue and the parking as well as good lighting there was no security/lighting or decent signage between the venue and the actual car park, it didn’t feel safe, it’s a public space and walking with a 10 year in the dark wasn’t a nice experience. We loved the music but I don’t think I would go to this venue again, I’ll stick with the live nation events at thetford forest which is a much better set up, more inclusive and all round nicer experience.

Have been three times this year, Madness, David Gray and Nile Rodgers & Chic. Previous years been to see many more. The venue never disappoints and for Nile Rodgers & Chic to close this season was phenomenal. The organisation was terrific and we can’t wait to see what great performances you will line up for next year’s season.

Fabulous venue in a great setting where you can get really close to the acts. Chic was the absolute best act this season. It was disappointing that there was no fireworks with it been the last act of the year, as in previous years there have been.

Great night at the Scarborough open air theatre watching Chic, a fantastic venue will definitely be back ,waiting for the 2027 line-up, we booked a hotel 11 minutes walk from venue perfect. Great show excellent stage lighting and of course Nile Rogers & Chic Goooood times .
