for my order perfect delivery timing was essential as I was just temporarily in the UK, so a delay would have made it impossible to collect the books I ordered.
I sent an email to CultNeverDies to inform them of my needs and the parcel was sped up to match my needs. Great job, guys!

The order arrived incomplete and they didn’t answer the mail I sent.

There was a slight delay in getting the book, but was provided with regular updates and a very quick response to correspondence which showed good customer service as issues can arise in logistics. Book was worth the wait. A high quality product. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent well collated book, the best and most in-depth publication of its kind (according to my son who it was ordered for).
However, I give 4 stars because I was concerned at not having received a delivery date so after six weeks I emailed the company twice with no reply. It eventually arrived two weeks after a third email

Black Metal - I read parts in the copy of a friend and now I own the new edition. Beautifully made, well written.

As for the ordering process. As I pre-ordered it took a while, but packaging and info were solid.

I ordered my vinyl on 27th of July 2026 and only received my parcel today (14th September 2026). When I placed my order there was no notification of delay due to the vendor going to Bloodstock Festival.
I feel that waiting a month and 17 days for a parcel is excessive. There was also a delay in the confirmation of my order of at least a month. If the vendor goes to Festivals to do business on a regular basis, I would hope that they had back up staff at the Cult Never Dies webstore to deal with incoming orders. I am not happy with the delay but the items are as described on the website and I am very happy with my vinyl.

My 3/5 rating is due to the delay in delivery, although I must say that I was warned of the problem with due diligence.

Correct items, but not shrinkwrapped and new as advertised, plus shipping took longer than expected.

Easy to order, navigate site. The book is fantastic and more than I hoped for. I'm very intrigued about the history behind Black/Death metal. Have been a life long fan of heavy metal my whole life and have always enjoyed that style.
