HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and FALSE ADVERTISING

I highly advice AGAINST shopping from this retailer. I purchased wallpaper from Decorators Best and later re-purchased the same wallpaper from the same product link, believing it to be identical to my original order.
When the second order arrived, the wallpaper did not match the original purchase. There were visible differences in color and finish. The product listing did not disclose any variations, dye lot differences, batch changes, or other material distinctions between orders.
The product description on the website represents the item as a single, consistent product. Based on that description, a reasonable consumer would expect repeat purchases from the same link to match.
This constitutes false and misleading advertising, as the product delivered does not conform to what was represented at the time of purchase.
At no point does the listing disclose dye lots, batch variation, or the possibility that reorders may not match.
I contacted the seller to request a refund or correction, but they would not honor my request.
Wallpaper is a product where consistency between orders is essential, especially for home installations. Failure to disclose differences creates financial harm and unnecessary waste for consumers. I am now at a loss of thousands of dollars for labor and material costs.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely appreciate your detailed feedback and are truly sorry for the frustration and expense this situation has caused. We understand how essential dye lot consistency is for wallpaper installations, and it’s completely reasonable to want a reorder to match your original purchase.
When your second order was placed, it was submitted as a new order and did not indicate that it was a reorder of a previous dye lot. As a result, it was processed according to standard procedure and fulfilled with the dye lot available at that time. Had we known this was intended to match a prior purchase, we would have checked availability and advised that the original dye lot was no longer in stock, along with recommending options to ensure consistency.
Although the wallpaper shipped was not defective and was supplied correctly based on the order received, we still wanted to help. We previously offered a courtesy discount toward a new order, and we are also happy to accept a return of the unopened rolls within 30 days for a full refund. We will waive both the restocking fee and return shipping costs and can provide a Return Authorization and prepaid label.

Beware of ordering samples

Ordered several samples but never received most of them. Had to email and call at least 4 times to get it resolved. Six months later, had still not received one of them. Finally gave up and ordered the sample from another supplier and received it within 3 days. Something wrong with the way Decorators Best is handling samples orders. Get it fixed!!!

Working with the team at Decorators Best has been a dream. They are so knowledgeable and Educational. I'm re-doing a lot of pieces of my home, from rugs to wallpaper. They have everything I need for every style. Their support team is so kind and fast to respond. Their prices are amazing, and their designs and quality are the best. I can't wait to order more!

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Will not allow a cancelation that has not even arrived at their warehouse. Blaming it on the manufacturer. Facts on their website are incorrect.

Wallpaper order appears to be a scam

Wallpaper order appears to be a scam. A flat small enveloped was shipped to a completely different state than my order which was for 2 rolls of designer wallpaper. FEDEX sends me back to the MERCHANT and now upon further reviews I'm concerned they are a scammer using a closed merchants site.

SHOP LOCAL! Beware of return fees!

SHOP LOCAL - LESSON LEARNED! They charge a 25% restocking fee plus you pay for return shipping back. I ordered a runner rug. At $110.50 it cost me $31.63 for shipping for a total of $142.13. Now I will pay $27.63 PLUS return shipping to send it back. So many local and online stores offer free shipping and free returns why deal with a company like this? I will never again.

NEVER AGAIN!

If I could give a 0 I would. I ordered a Candice Olson wallpaper and it looks NOTHING like the wallpaper shown compared to what I received. Before ordering I could find nothing except that it was refundable. What they DON’T tell you until after Many inquiries is it is BUT with a 30% restocking fee. Minimum 2 rolls. Plus I ordered peel and stick and was sent pre pasted. NEVER AGAIN.

If I could give them zero

If I could give them zero, I would. I am an interior designer and I ordered wallpaper for my client and it arrived on time. It was faded did not look anything like the picture. It was very poor quality and very cheap looking, unlike the photo displayed. I called my client called and her husband called to return this, they absolutely refused they stalled us until it was after the 30 day window of return, and then they denied us ever contacting them. I will never ever ever order from these thieves again they were rude they were horrible one girl hung up on me and I talk to a guy named David today to ask if we could just exchange it and he said no that that is not their policy. They are not willing to help you the quality of their stuff is horrible. I’m assuming all the positive comments on this page or from their employees or their friends, do not order from this company you will get nowhere plus bad product

Really poor shipment/delivery

I ordered, 25 yards of Brunschwig & Fiels trim totaling $2,300 plus taxes and delivery charges. The trim arrived timely, but, it was wrapped around a bolt - twisted, wrinkled and the end was ripped and dirty - damaged in the box during delivery. I sent pictures to DB, they said the brand shipped it and all they could do was offer a return or replacement. Unfortunately, I don’t have time with the designers to return. I am just amazed a costly purchase was handled so poorly and blasé. Be careful purchasing, I won’t again.

VERY overpriced. Go elsewhere

The website does not work at all.
The pricing on products is very misleading.
Shipping is outragous.
I found my same product for half the price elsewhere with free shipping. (Many places, actually)
Decorator's Best was not willing to help at all.
Go elsewhere!!! They are ripping you off.

Do Not Buy From this Company

I’ve ordered wallpaper from them before and my experience was fine. But my recent order for close to $100 of samples has been a disaster. I never received close to half of them and have had no response after reaching out to customer service. They took my money just fine but never completed the order, nor bothered to respond to my complaints. Taking my business elsewhere.
Update: I am doubling down on my views regarding DB - as you can see from their reply - its up to me to reach out AGAIN to them, even though I've already done so without a response. There are other vendors available - this one is a hard pass.
