We are really pleased with our new Desjoyaux Pool. The build was hampered by bad weather at times but the team made every effort to accommodate to get us back on track. Lots of teams worked together as our build was complex with landscaping so our advice would be to ensure close communication between the two who work in parallel. We are still getting to grips with the running and maintenance which can take a while to get your ahead around in those early weeks after the handover but the Desjoyaux team are always helpful and on hand to offer support. One area that perhaps wasn’t communicated earlier on was the fact there are quite significant costs to close down and reopen the pool either end of the season which we naively hadn’t realised so worth bearing that in mind about your ongoing running costs.

We are extremely happy with our new swimming pool! The team was professional, friendly, and completed the work to a very high standard. The whole process was smooth from start to finish, and the final result exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality workmanship and excellent service!

We were delighted with Desjoyaux. The team was helpful and efficient, the build was incredibly quick and we were swimming in our pool within 6 weeks of start of project. We couldn't recommend them more highly.

Andy, Martin, Steven, Oliver and the team gave us help and advice - so we have been able to make good decisions and to get exactly the pool we wanted.

The pool itself, filter system, air sourced heat pump are all great and the Desjoyaux system altogether excellent. A great approach to pools and a very nice finished product. "After care" system also seems great - which is good if you're new to pool maintenance.

I have just had a 7 m x 3 m pool with an integrated cover installed by Desjoyeaux Pools. I’m absolutely thrilled with the result -and so are all my friends and family.! The process was quick and easy. They followed the timetable and it was finished in just over two months. I would also like to highlight how easy the maintenance is. I manage this on my own and with the robot cleaner, and it only takes me an hour a week if that. Of course the air source heat pump is a must and works beautifully -we have already been swimming this season. So this year is a El Niño year too-so you know what you have to do —get your pool now.!!

Desjoyaux gave a seamless service from helping to position the pool to creating it and finishing the groundworks so that the end result looked great and worked well. it all seemed a very stress free experience.

I had a pool put in earlier this year and am v pleased with the results. The team were efficient, responsive, well organised and did a great job. And the pool looks great and has been working without a hitch. No hesitations in recommending them. The only thing I'd say is that I underestimated what a mess of any existing garden/lawn it makes so be prepared! But it's worth it.

We refurbished an old pool and decided to go with Desjoyaux due to the simplicity of the system. It was the right choice. Very simple to use and good guidance and communication from the Desjoyaux team throughout the process. Glad we went down this route. Happy kids, happy family.

I would recommend Desjoyaux Pools. The team have been excellent at keeping me informed, client service is very well done. Since installation, the weather has been great and we have used the pool nearly every day. No real niggles but anything raised has been sorted immediately. A little more tidyness during installation would be recommended.

Super job , very straightforward all along

I had a pool installed by this company a few years ago, and unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing. Each year, I’ve encountered ongoing problems, and despite raising concerns multiple times, I’ve struggled to get a proper response or lasting resolution.

Communication has been poor throughout. I’ve often been left chasing people for updates or waiting for recommended contractors who never turn up. When work does get done, it tends to be rushed — and this has led to larger issues and repairs, some of which appear to stem from the original installation.

At this point, my pool is not usable, and it’s been a source of stress rather than enjoyment. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise others to do thorough research and consider other providers before committing. I truly wish I had.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Desjoyaux Pools Peterborough. From start to finish, the service has been absolutely outstanding. Gary and his team were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and a genuine pleasure to deal with.

We recently had some maintenance work carried out and a new pool cover installed, and the whole process was handled with such professionalism and care. Gary took the time to explain our options, kept us updated at every stage, and made sure everything was completed to the highest standard.

The attention to detail and level of customer service was second to none. You can tell they take real pride in their work – and it really shows. If you’re looking for a team who truly go above and beyond, we couldn’t recommend Desjoyaux Peterborough highly enough.

Still waiting for heater to be fixed (broke in October 2024). As per previous comments made whereby everything is the customer’s fault, Desjoyaux claim that it’s broken because we’ve not used the winter cover - We Have! Or that there was an electrical surge - we have surge protectors!
They’ve ignored the fact that this is the second time the control panel has failed and that the first replacement part only latest a couple of weeks (see earlier comment re:unofficial/dodgy parts used)

Anyway Desjoyaux have asked me to take down my review when the heater is fixed. The speed that they work at I’ll let you know in another 6 months.!

If, like me, you’ve always thought that having your own pool would be fantastic, think again.
Our Desjoyaux pool, installed under 4 years ago has brought us nothing but hassle, cost and stress.
We initially had many delays with the installation and we originally posted on here warning people of the pitfalls of dealing with Desjoyaux. We were effectively told that if we took down our review then they would sort out our problems.Sadly we agreed in order to speed up things and allow us to use our pool.
Since then we’ve had problems with the salt unit (fixed after several months), liner wrinkles (unresolved), and heater problems (unresolved) plus others.
It would appear that incorrect/under spec parts were used in place of new official parts which were still under warranty. Talking of warranties, it seems that asking for items to be fixed/replaced whilst under warranty is considered by Desjoyaux as wanting something for nothing. They will expect you to pay call out charges to look at/fix things under warranty.
I could go on cataloguing the numerous issues we have had/are still having. One thing for sure is that Desjoyaux repeatedly will blame you for their failings (even when hard evidence is provided) and then will stop responding completely.
If you want to use your hard earned savings to enjoy your own pool you would be well advised to look anywhere but at Desjoyaux.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I had a pool installed by them in 2021 and every thing on it has failed or not worked, each time it has been a battle to get it put right under the warranty! They are so arrogant and treat you like you’re an idiot, or blame you that things have failed. You only know if a company is any good after things go wrong by how their customer service is and believe me their customer service is beyond shocking! When they were initially installing the pool they asked me to take down a bad review of them in exchange for putting things right! Alarm bells already started ringing. They replaced salt cells that failed (after a battle) with a lesser, smaller product than I purchased, I only found out because the company that service the pool (a more reputable one) told me! They are wide boys just out to make money and once they’ve had your cash they don’t care. I got the feeling they were just replacing failed items with anything that was lying around in the back of the warehouse. I bought a winter cover from them and they wanted to charge £150 to fit it - the instructions said it took 3 minutes to fit ! £50 a minute! The pool cost 10’s of thousands of pounds and it has only brought stress and misery, the pump failed, the salt cells failed, the heat pump failed take my advice and don’t waste your money like I did, do not use this company, you will regret it!

The Desjoyaux team were so helpful from the planning and designing stages of the pool with Chris Lockett to the building team on site who were managed by Tony. Utterly fantastic team. All very tidy and well mannered. Chris kept us up to date with all progress along the way. The follow-up care once the work was completed was also brilliant. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The whole process was so professional; from Andy identifying the pool we needed, its design; the build by the excellent Stil and his team and Ladi the electrician . Martin was also a good project manager. The only thing I wish I had understood was the frequency with which access is needed to the filter switch for cleaning beofre the site for the electrics was agreed.

We had an amazing crew install the pool and the system is so easy to use and keep the pool clean and sorted ! A wonderful experience and joy to use ! We have really enjoyed it since the installation a few years back!

We had our pool installed 3 years ago and love it. Our garden is heavy clay and very water logged so we have had issues beyond anyones control. Desjoyeaux have been superb every time there has been an issue coming out the same or next day. Ollie who manages the work is excellent and knows our pool very well!! Even after 3 years they came out last week repaired a ground pump and all within 24 hours. Still the engineer worked very hard on a seriously hot day. Very impressed with everything Desjoyeaux do.
