This is the 2nd time I've used Talbot Green Devonalds, Sara Edwards was my solicitor for selling and buying. I would never go anywhere else, superb experience on both occasions. Sara is amazing, fantastic communication, always replied to my queries quickly, made the sale/purchase an easy process even when my buyer was making it difficult. We got there in the end, I felt Sara had my back always and her professionalism and caring was always evident. Thank you Sara and your team, I always felt in safe hands, keep up the great work, very much appreciated :-)

Devonalds recently helped me with the purchase of my first house. The whole team was approachable and friendly. In particular Luke Williams was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and he quickly responded to the various queries we had as soon as they arose. Our purchase went through smoothly and swiftly and we really appreciated the professional service.

Initially felt listened to and understood. Happy with plan set out to tackle my family law matter. When I raised concern about the content of letters (extremely poor spelling/grammar), I was met with a response of “At this juncture, I am concerned that you have lost faith in our team and our firm, and I am further concerned that we are unable to meet your expectations”. This completely stonewalled and did not address my concerns which were very valid. I was forced to change firm following this

By far, Devonalds is one of the best out there. From start to my employement, they have been courteous, welcoming, and supportive. Would definitely recommend this solicitor to anyone, including family members.

We just purchased our first house and we were recommended Devonalds Solicitors, in particular, Sara Edwards' Team who handle conveyancing.

They use an app that makes it really easy and convenient to check updates, and progress with your case. It's not without its issues however, we found it particularly useful.

They respond quickly, and they are great in person and on the phone.

As Brits we love to complain about the weather, GP receptionists, and how solicitors love to "drag their feet".
We found the process super fast and we were kept in the loop the whole time. No feet were dragged.

They gave us great advice when we were worried and provided us with clear options when choices needed to be made.

They did an amazing job, and we are very thankful. Hopefully we won't need to buy / sell again but if we do, we know where we will go.

Called three times in a coupe of days to engage a solicitor to act on my behalf.
Mathew wasn't available so I left a message to call back explaining that the case is time sensitive...... no call back.

I called this morning to reach Mathew and the person who answered the phone was very abrupt and not very welcoming at all.
From there I was passed to someone else, who although more friendly, needed me to explain the reason for my call - this is now the third time and third person I've had to explain this to, without even speaking to a solicitor.

Needless to say I'm off to someone else.

Guys if you're going for a solicitor to buy a house I highly recommend these! It was such an easy process they are so easy to contact and talk you through everything and are super efficient I can't stress enough how easy they made it for me

I used Nicky for the sale of my property, i could not fault him. Anything i asked for was done straight away and no waiting, if he said he would get back to me he did straight away.

I chose Devonalds in Bridgend because I wanted to give business to a local firm. Also I prefer to be able to drop off documents personally rather than sending things through the post.

A visit to the Bridgend office is not, however, to be recommended - especially if you suffer from any chest complaints. The office reeks of damp such that it is unpleasant to spend any time in the reception area.
It does raise the question how can this company care about you as a client if it doesn’t seem to care about the health of its own staff? Nobody should have to work in that literally stinking environment.

Dear Devonalds bosses, wherever your HQ may be, please don’t pretend this is news to you. I wrote to you over a month ago about this matter but nothing has been done.

Apologies to Luke who dealt with my recent sale. This is no reflection on your work. I thank you for passing on my concerns.

Anna and Nicky at the conveyancing team should be praised for their hard work and commitment to provide an all round excellent service that was delivered from day one to completion.
We have recently sold two properties using Devonalds and always felt that everyone went above and beyond to ensure we received a personalised process.
At a time when customer service is lacking in many parts of our society it was a pleasure to know that we could get regular updates, every phone call would get a reply and nothing was ever too much !

Sara Edwards and her team at the Talbot Green office have been amazing. Sara replied to emails within minutes and always kept us up to date with everything that was happening. Although the seller's solicitors were slow to respond Sara made she that she did everything she could to make the sale go through as quickly as possible. We highly recommend Sara and will definitely be using her again.

Alex Kilby of the Pontypridd branch managed the sale of our old home and purchase of the new. I was very pleased with the professional and efficient way both were managed. We received very swift responses and were kept informed throughout.
I hope that we do not need to move for a very long time but would not hesitate to use them again if we did.

We used the Treorchy branch of Devonalds for our recent house move. I cannot recommend them enough, Rhian was the solicitor on our case and she was fantastic. Due to lockdown all the solicitors were working from home which made it difficult to contact her by phone but she would respond to emails within 24 hours and still managed to arrange phone calls with us when easier.

Even though we no longer live in Wales we would use Rhian at Devonalds again in the future as she was really helpful and went above and beyond to help us to move.

Would NOT deal with, at all. Phoned as a prospective Client. Was asked to email through specific details and copies of emails, to Mr Ceri Davies and had a rude and abrupt email back from him!!! So that's the way that he deals with a prospective client, who was potentially going to spend thousands of pounds on his services??????? I'd have given 0 stars, if that had been an option.

I am using Devonalds for my conveyancing. They were marginally more expensive than another quote, but I wanted to give the business to a local firm during these difficult times.

Rhian and Debra have done everything swiftly, professionally and in a friendly manner. I complete on 2nd September 2020 and I cannot thank them enough for their work to get me to this point and so quickly.

Would definitely recommend them to anyone. Great firm.
