The experience was great. Staff were accommodating and clear with their information. Service was top notch, helpful and felt looked after, not too pushy as other stores tend to be.

Ordered a sofa back in February

Ordered a sofa back in February. Paid a delivery charge on top of sofa. Were given an original date for delivery. This has now changed three times and this morning I have been told it will be even longer. Originally I was told there is a two day turn away once it arrives in the local warehouse however I have now been told it will be 10 days for it to be delivered from the delivery centre. We have changed arrangements multiple times and now further delays are looking extremely likely. Just disappointed how a huge company can have these kind of massive delays. From speaking to family and friends that have used you previously. This seems to be a regular occurrence. Maybe you need to look into your production lines or give customers a more accurate prediction of delivery upon purchase.

Awful

Never had so many interactions with so many people from one company who seem absolutely clueless. My elderly parents purchased 2 sit to stand chairs and were misinformed by the sales assistant at Hedge end Southampton they were not entitled to vat relief. First error. I hand delivered signed forms to the store a few days later and the phone calls and complaints over the following month have been ridiculous. None of the staff have any idea of what they are doing. The store never returned any of my calls, the online complaints were responded to with a copy of the invoice ! 2 recorded phone calls saying head office are sending paperwork for my Father to claim vat back when DFS are responsible for supplying the refund. I even emailed the CEO, but if his employees reflect his work ethic, my expectations are low for a response . Never have I ever dealt with such an inept company in my life. I wonder how many other vat relief chairs they have sold to customers who have lost money because they’ve been told they aren’t entitled to vat relief (these are sit to stand recliners only). My parents are 87 and 91 and they wouldn’t have the knowledge to pursue this. Quick enough to make a sale though

Ask for Villina

Villina was really helpful.
She asked what my reasons for getting a new sofa and what it needed to have. And she walked me around the various sofas that could suit me.
We settled on Dylan 3 seater and footstool. Really looking forward to it arriving and my son has seen a chair he hopes to come back for.
