Digital River is een website die lijkt te zijn ontworpen om mensen op te lichten. Ik heb onlangs software gekocht van Trend Micro via hun platform en betaald met PayPal. Wat ik niet wist, is dat er automatisch een abonnement werd afgesloten dat onmogelijk op te zeggen blijkt te zijn.

Toen ik probeerde contact op te nemen via e-mail om mijn abonnement te annuleren, kreeg ik geen enkele reactie. Het leek alsof mijn mails gewoon niet aankwamen. Vervolgens heb ik via PayPal een verzoek tot terugboeking ingediend, en wat denk je? Ik kreeg een ander e-mailadres waar ik contact mee moest opnemen.

Toen ik dat nieuwe e-mailadres benaderde, kreeg ik een antwoord met een aantal links voor ondersteuning. Maar raad eens? Al die links waren dood! Dit hele proces voelt als een eindeloze doolhof zonder enige vorm van echte hulp.

Mijn advies? Blijf ver weg van Digital River. Hun praktijken zijn op zijn zachtst gezegd verdacht, en ze maken het extreem moeilijk om abonnementen op te zeggen of enige vorm van klantenservice te krijgen. Bespaar jezelf de frustratie en zoek een betrouwbare verkoper.

Oplichters?

Al 4 jaar gaat er via PayPal automatisch een bedrag af voor AVG Internet Security. In totaal 208,73€ betaald.
Tot mijn grote verbazing blijkt er geen abonnement actief te zijn op mijn account.

Bei Erkennen dieses Zahlungsabwicklers grundsätzlich Finger weg, 1 Stern ist zuviel

Für Bitdefender eine Verlängerung bei Ebay erworben mit Hinweis auf "kein Abo", dann kam nun eine Ankündigung eines bevorstehenden Zahlungseinzuges mit viel zu hoher Jahreslizenzgebühr. Das haben sie aufgrund meiner Email Adresse bei paypal eingetrieben. Ich hatte vorsorglich auf die angebliche AboNummer eine Kündigung geschrieben, keinerlei Reaktion. Dank paypal Käuferschutz nun Rückerstattung.

I ordered VMWARE Fusion and the order…

I ordered VMWARE Fusion and the order was supposed to process within 24 hours. 5 days later and Broadcom says they have not received any order. Many calls and many hours of time and case numbers with both Broadcom and Digital River produced nothing. I am cancelling the order, and based on these other reviews in terms of getting refunds processed, I will submit this as fraud to the credit card company before the window expires.

Appalling experience

Despite cancelling after free trial with Avast I was charged via PayPal Every effort to resolve this with Avast and Digital River has failed. I keep being passed from pillar to post Pay pal is trying to sort this. At one point Avast emailed me to say unless I withdrew my complaint from PayPal they would not refund me, So I did but still no joy!

ghastly - they take money when they have been told automatic renewal is cancelled, and never answer complaints.

Absolute! SCAM company. Watch out if you use paypal with this company. They will repeatedly re set up recurring payments with your account to scoop up a yearly cost!!! BEWARE !!!!

Placed an order through LG’s website…

Placed an order through LG’s website which was processed via digital river (that’s who my card statement billed me) I thought I was buying direct from LG

Cancelled the order but it had already shipped, they stated the refund would be processed within 14 days, it took a week to get back to the warehouse, the 14 days start from then, I have emailed and called chasing the refund. I’m told each time I’ll be called back, the refund has been requested, we need to escalate but not a single person from LG or digital river has called me back. It has been over 35 days now and I am contacting my credit card company as digital river have the money and the goods. Shocking behaviour. I have never received such bad service in all my years of online ordering. LG my advise to you is find another partner as this is hurting your brand by being associated with this company.

Dette firma trækker penge ud af min bankkonto. Jeg har aldrig haft kendskab til dette firma eller haft noget at gøre med det, men på mystisk vis har de nu 2 gange trukket penge ud af min PayPal konto.

Unable to contact this supplier

I orders items from FITBIT. They have used Digital River UK Ltd. I ordered in March, it is now June and after much searching, of my e-mails, I find that there was insufficient address so the items were sent back to postal depot. They have now marked parcel as "sorted". I have no way of contacting FITBIT or Digital River UK. The address on company house and the invoice receipt is different. I am going around in circles to get a refund. No email or phone numbers. Not very good customer service.

Styr unna abonnementer med betalt med Digital River

Her er det lagt opp til at det skal være så vanskelig som mulig å avslutte et abonnement.
Prøvde å logge på "MyCommerce", og fikk etter et forsøk beskjed om at pålogging var stengt i 30 minutter.
Heldigvis var dette kjøpet igjennom Paypal, så jeg gikk inn der og stoppet autopay til Digital River.

kontack met avg opgenomen maar geen gehoor zijn niet te pakken te krijgen maar wel steet reklamer van avg.dit bedrijf zijn geld wolven dus pos op ik krijg me geld er niet mee terug maar pos op dit zijn oplichters
