The 3 day tour for the Highlands, Isle of Skye and Loch Ness tour was absolutely fantastic. Stevie was the best guide and very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable and safe at all times. The locations visited were exactly as advertised. This company is by far a 5 star company.

The tour was well organized and I could not have had a more outstanding tour guide than Kyle from Glasgow. He was the best guide I've EVER had, he went out of his way to make the experience special for our group and curated facts/info based on our individual interests and hobbies. The information he shared was impressive spanning from natural/environmental science, history, and culture. That man is a walking Wikipedia. GIVE KYLE A RAISE!!

I recently did the 3-day tour to Isle of Skye with Discover Scotland and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was very well organised, the scenery was absolutely stunning, and the whole trip was so much fun.

A special thanks to Stevie, our tour guide, who made the experience even better. He was incredibly helpful, fun, and very knowledgeable about the history and places we visited. His energy and storytelling really brought the tour to life and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable throughout the journey.

Kyle was our tour guide for the Glenfinnan Viaduct Tour from Edinburgh, and he was truly exceptional from start to finish. One of the main reasons we chose Discover Scotland Tours was because of their small-group experience, we wanted something that felt personal and welcoming rather than overly commercial, and they absolutely delivered. Our group ended up being just 9 people, which made the entire day feel so comfortable, relaxed, and memorable.
Kyle went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an amazing experience. The bus was very comfortable, and he was incredibly accommodating with additional washroom stops whenever needed, which we greatly appreciated during such a long day trip. Beyond that, he brought Scotland to life through his incredible storytelling, deep knowledge of Scottish history, and clear communication throughout the tour about what to expect and what to look out for along the way.
What really made this experience unforgettable were the thoughtful extra touches. Kyle stopped at breathtaking lookout points that were not even part of the itinerary so we could take photos and truly soak in the scenery. We also had an incredible surprise stop to feed the hairy coos! Such a special once-in-a-lifetime memory that no other tour company offered during our research!

Highlands and Glencoe tour was excellent! Our driver, Douglas, was knowledgeable, kind and helpful throughout the full day. Stops were well-timed and long enough to look but not get bored. Especially appreciated the sense of national pride - great music, listening to Cammy Barnes at home!

Our three day tour was run by Karen who had so much knowledge and was so funny and entertaining. Even after research, I didn’t realize how beautiful the Highlands and Isle of Skye really are. This trip allowed us to see all major spots without the hassle of driving ourselves. The town Kyleakin where we stayed was also beautiful and quaint. Overall, I highly recommend this tour!

Our 3-day tour of the Isle of Skye and Scotland was absolutely fantastic, and a huge part of that experience was thanks to Jonny, our driver and guide. He was incredibly informative, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Scotland and its history. Every day he shared interesting stories and facts that made the journey even more special.

What really stood out was how caring and cheerful he was throughout the trip. Jonny always made sure everyone was comfortable, happy, and well looked after. He carefully dropped each guest at their accommodation every evening and picked everyone up on time each morning, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
His positive attitude and warm personality created such a friendly atmosphere for everyone on the tour. Me and my family truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this tour company — especially if you get Jonny as your guide!

Your guide Ron: Ron was our tour guide for St. Andrews and Falkland, and we had such a fun time traveling along with him! He truly is an encyclopedia of knowledge, always sharing interesting pieces of Scottish history throughout the day that we will definitely be remembering so we can impress everyone back home.

Both the destination and the journey made this tour great. The Isle of Skye is stunning and the small bus tour made it so much fun as well. Our driver, wee Stevie, was well versed in the history and geography of the areas we travelled and … hilarious!

I highly recommend!

Dave was an excellent tour guide, we went to spots that were beautiful and you can pick your level of hiking. Where in our 70s and there was always moderate hikes for us. Dave gave us plenty of Scottish history along the way made the trip which is a fair amount of driving very interesting. If you have a chance to pick where you stay I would suggest Sam's Place very quaint on the water great breakfast! Would do it again in a heartbeat.

We went with Discover Scotland Tours to Inverness the northwest highlands & the isle of Skye 5 days tour (11 May to 15 May 2026) Mr Gary was our tour guide He was awesome, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and attentive He shared many many things/story on Scottish history and culture. He also gives us good advice on locations of clean public WC at each destination He also shared options for good food and drinks especially where to get the best pies it was a fantastic experience (and it’s 5 stars all the way) He was knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about this job that he does. We can’t say enough about the good things about this tours and would recommend highly this 5 days tour with this company Discover Scotland Tours exploring Scotland and the the man who can do very well is Mr Gary

Wendy was a wonderful driver and guide, very informative and helpful . I would recommend the tour to anyone to visit the great castkes Bamburgh and Alnwick castles .
