Unprofessional!!! Called up the store after purchasing a couple doors from here. The way the manager spoke to to me was appalling. I raised a simple query about a issue, which he automatically got defensive for no reason. To the point I had to ask him to calm down and talk to me respectfully (at this point I had said about 1 sentence on the reason for calling and he had done all the talking). Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional behaviour. Will not be going back to this store!

Other team members were nice. Doors seem alright, too early to tell, one had a few scratches which I ignored.
Be cautious the colour contrast for these doors are very apparent!! Stick with Howdens.

The Doorstore offers a good end to end service. The initial selection of our doors was facilitated by the helpful and unpushy staff who gave good advice and recommended all the extras we needed. They also recommended a fitter, Colin, who did an excellent job fitting all the doors perfectly. This involved moving all the stops and resizing for the very small downstairs loo door. Great work. He also suggested a decorator who will come to finish off.
My one piece of advice is check your door depth carefully. If we had got 3.5 rather than 4 cm doors it would have massively simplified the job.

Excellent customer service!...Nathan Glover showroom manager in Reading went out of his way to find the right handle for my internal door, which wasn't listed online and expedite my order! Plus applied a small discount for the inconvenience of my having to ring up.

If you’re looking for a carpenter to fit your Door Store Reading doors I can highly recommend Colin Quinlan. We had 11 internal doors fitted and all work perfectly. Colin and Ryan arrived on time every morning and just worked through until gone 5 every day.

Used the Reading store and was well supported. Used recommended carpenter and Colin Quinlan was fantastic. Colin was tougher, clean and fitted our door to a very high standard. Will be using again and would recommend for fitting doors.

I had a Door Store composite front door fitted recently. The fitter did a brilliant job, although there was far more for him to do than he expected: the floor was faulty under the old sill and the frame was wonky. It now looks terrific!

Every time I visit door store I feel I am a valued customer. This time it was Mark who went out of his way to help me find exactly what I needed.

Went to the Newtownabbey branch which was an excellent experience. All available door styles and fittings were well laid out and Robbie our salesman demonstrated excellent knowledge and experience and made our choice a breeze. Stephen fitted our doors and has made an excellent job.

Ordered metal spiindles for my new banister as they were the perfect height other suppliers needed cutting. Very pleased with what i received and the service i received later when i found out we had ordered a few short. The manager went out his way to send us the extra spindles thank you.

Came in for general advice and left with 12 square meters of laminate for our new garden room after being expertly sold by Kieran. Not only did he sell the product with clear reasons why I should spend the extra money but he even gave me a practical demonstration on how easy it was to cut and lay the flooring myself. I was then able to put the floor down in a matter of a few hours once I got home. He even helped me carry it all to the car. Very impressed by this shopping experience.

From our first visit to the Belfast store Gary walked us through all the options and gave superb spot on advice. Even before we decided to order we were made tofeel like valued customers. Gary made the ordering process so easy and handled our minor amendments with no fuss at all. The Fitter Michael fitted our doors and the result was absolutely fantastic. The quality of the doors was complimented by Michaeld professionalism and in short we could not be happier with the result. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gary at Boucher Road as your salesman and Michael as your fitted. Top marks and if anyone in management reads this then please formally pass on our thanks to both Gary and Michael.

failed to meet delivery date

I just bought 9 new doors in Newtownabbey store. Salesman Andy excellent.

Ordered door handles on line. Door Store phoned within the hour to advise me of next day delivery.
UPS delivered them the following morning. Very nice they are too and a good price.

We initially dealt with Andrew in the Boucher Road Store, he couldn't have been more helpful and was able to advise us on exactly what we needed. Andrew contacted us when he said he would as we didn't want the work to start until after our son's wedding, that was no issue. Andrew recommended a joiner, Michael who was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, he was the tidiest worker and quite often left my floors cleaner than he found them, especially the stair carpet. I would definatly recommend the Door store and especially Andrew & Michael as nothing was too much trouble and they even kept us right with exactly what we need as well as Michael advising how to look after our new doors, floors & skirtings.

I bought 3 doors Walnut Vancouver 2 months ago and I am very disappointed.
The quality it’s very poor, every little scratch is visible and can’t be corrected.
The edge very sensitive, can be break down easily.
Very disappointed with this product

I visited the store today with kind of an idea of what I wanted but I wasn’t sure. Glen the sales guy was excellent talked me through what would and wouldn’t work gave me lots of options and alternatives and didn’t pressure me at all. Happy to say decision made, purchase done and I can’t wait to have my doors fitted! I’ll be back for that decking Glen! Great service, lovely guy, a credit to the business.
