terrible service. Basically takes your money and charges you for a machine you can get on your own from another service. Totally corrupt. Should be shut down.

I am particularly interested in CBT-I therapy. Is this something offered without having to deal with sleep device? Also I thought this was covered by insurance?

I purchased the Dreem 2 device on February 29, 2020, for $499.00 (Invoice #IN5363949). Recently, I was informed that the application associated with the device has been discontinued, rendering it unusable. This completely compromises its functionality, violating legitimate expectations of use.
Under consumer protection laws, I kindly request a resolution to this matter, which may include:
1. A full or partial refund of the amount paid;
2. Replacement with another functional device; or
3. Guidance on how to continue using the product independently.

Dreem abandoned its customers
Dreem used to be good - the device is good. But then they changed bosses and switched to only dealing with companies and health service and abandoned their private customers whose data they had used to bolster the company. Beacon Biosignals who took over the company ignore these customers who are left with a useless and expensive device.

I had a great experience with Dreem…
I had a great experience with Dreem Health and Dr. Fitzgerald. She listened to me and cared about my previous health leading up to my visit with Dreem. I explained that I did sleep test almost 5 years ago but never ordered my CPAP because of own laziness. And she suggested that I try to receive those results to share with her vs just ordering a new sleep study to help save time and resources if my insurance allows. This made me feel great because I knew it that it wasn’t about money, it was simply about my care. My insurance approved and my CPAP was ordered. I booked my initial appointment on 1/18, met with Dr. Fitzgerald on 1/20, sent over my old records on 1/26, and my CPAP was ordered on 1/30. What more could I ask for?

Décidément Dreem semble n'être plus ce qu'il était au départ : proche de l'être humain, décidé à l'aider à se passer de somnifères, à changer sa vision du sommeil...
L'arrêt de la commercialisation du bandeau est symptomatique de l'arrêt brutal de la philosophie du départ : fin du programme Adventurers, plus aucune communication, ni aucun échange...
Le support tel qu'il existait a disparu, la logique marchande prend la place de l'être humain.
Quand à la direction, elle ne montre que du mépris : aucune réponse aux courriers, refus absolu de communiquer.
Mais que peut-on attendre aujourd'hui de Dreem ?
Seulement des promesses et des engagements non tenus ?
5 ans auront-ils suffit pour venir à bout de la belle énergie du départ ?
La révolution du sommeil semble avoir un peu de mal à se réaliser...
No retail support.
Ordered this headband through a retailer in NZ - EdenSleep.
The software doesn't work on my Samsung S7 Android device. I contacted Dreem support regarding this and received no response. I was able to get it to work on my Apple device on my own.
After around one week of usage, my headband now has no WiFi and cannot update or send meaningful analytics. This is due to a 'hardware issue' as shown in the app. I contacted Dreem support regarding this and also received no response.
From my experiences I have concluded that Dreem no longer offer any support for their device which in my opinion and due to the way it has been designed, is required.
Don't buy this headband.

Quand je lis les avis positifs, je me demande si on parle du même produit. J'ai acheté un Dreem 2 en 2019. Les capteurs ne fonctionnaient pas, j'ai donc dû le retourner. J'ai reçu un remplacement, mais il était quasi-inaudible, alors au bout de trois jours, j'ai jeté l'éponge. Depuis, il est resté sur une étagère de ma chambre. J'ai réessayé de l'utiliser cette semaine. Très déçu. Les programmes sont infantilisants, la sélection et la qualité sonores médiocres. En fin de compte, un appareil ridicule pour un prix exagéré. Il existe des appareils plus conviviaux sur le marché pour bien moins cher .

Je n’en gardais pas un super souvenir, mais au moins j’avais en mémoire qu’il contribuait un tant soit peu au sommeil. J’avais bien pressenti un changement quand je l'ai réutilisé cette fois, avec ses programmes incompréhensibles, beaucoup trop techniques. Vous confirmez donc que le bandeau est devenu inutilisable par un particulier, mais avez-vous au moins pensé à indemniser ceux qui ont payé 450 euros pour un truc pareil? Je parie que non! C’est bien ça l’ennui d’acheter à des petites sociétés sans notoriété.

retour sur expérience de 3 ans sur le port du bandeau Dreem
Cela fait plus de 3 ans que je porte un bandeau Dreem. Au début, j’avais une moyenne de 1h30 pour réussir à m’endormir et désormais je passe à environ 24 mn, parfois moins.
J’ai noté qu’une personne parlait dans un avis, de la dépendance à cet appareil, je ne suis pas certaine que cela soit une réalité. Il m’est arrivé deux ou trois fois de ne pas porter le bandeau pendant un ou deux jours. Cela n’a eu aucune incidence sur mon sommeil et mon endormissement, ces jours là.
Par contre, suite à un problème personnel, je n’ai pas porté mon appareil pendant un peu plus de deux mois au début de l’année 2021, aussi j’ai reperdu un parti du gain sur la qualité de mon sommeil et la durée de mon endormissement sans revenir réellement à la case départ.
Quand j’ai recommencé à porter mon bandeau, je me suis rapidement rendu compte que je retrouvais la qualité de mon sommeil mais aussi un retour vers mon endormissement de base actuellement (24 mn).
Par contre, il est évident qu’il faut porter toutes les nuits le bandeau pour voir du progrès.

The seller forgot to mention that it refused to accept my return of Dreem 2 when the French La Poste tried on 26 January 2021 to deliver it. My liability for the matter ended there. Furthermore, the seller claims to have sent me back the Dreem 2, which is impossible as by its own admission it refused to accept it from La Poste, in the first place: how can you send something back if you have not got it?

The 30 day free return and full refund is a nonsense. I returned the Dreem 2 within 1 week as it was uncomfortable to use. Cost me £30 to send back. Seller never refunded me for the product or cost of return, despite sending 30 emails. Total ripoff!

Some issues with data, good support
Edit: Dreem Support has been responsive to concerns about wake periods not being picked up by the Dreem 2. I appreciate the reaching out and data identification on the hypnogram. I set up a new account in an attempt to recalibrate and am hopeful that Dreem support will help me merge this with my older account so I can continue using my original account versus the new one. I am still finding some missed wake periods but the Dreem 2 is very accurate at picking up REM - I'm an active dreamer and talk in my sleep. The Dreem 2 shows REM at the times my husband notes this. Other sleep monitors note light sleep or wake.

This headband works great for sleep tracking for data junkies who want to see data on their sleep quality. When placed up next. Next to fitness watch sleep results it outperforms pretty significantly, which makes sense considering it's using brain wave monitoring vs the heart, temperature and movement that many watches are using now.
It also has multiple programs to aid sleep after a 7 day analysis of your sleep style. Most are aimed at insomnia but if you're wearing it with a normal sleep schedule and usual amount of sleep there are plenty of programs also. I have narcolepsy and it's not tailored for that but does give me multiple programs in attemp to give me more deep sleep.
There is a bedtime reminder and morning alarm option if I choose. The alarm will wake you out of light sleep so you're more refreshed.
Some stuff I like:
1) bone conduction sound that works great. The sound on this for the programs at at sleep and alarm is outstanding and is via bone conduction so it doesn't have to go over my ears. I hate things on my ears at night. My husband can't hear it. I wish they made a bluetooth bone conduction band just for sleeping when I don't wear the Dreem 2 at night. None on the market are comfortable enough to sleep with.
2) data. This gives out reasonable data and they are constantly improving what you get. Sleep stages with a hypnograph, sleep quality, stage percent, movement, breathing rate, heart rate, scroll through timing of above, and irregular breathing monitoring with ability to export for further analysis. They do not provide raw data (EEG, epoch, hypnogram)
3) occipital and frontal sensors (O1, O2, FpZ (ground), F7, F8)
4) ability to be sized for quite a few head sizes.
5) I'm able to sleep in whatever position I want and it still records ( I'm an active sleeper and end up on both sides, my back and face down lol)
6) REM and deep sleep accuracy vs other sleep monitors which underestimate those and overestimate light sleep.
What I don't like:
1) the charger is awful. If you don't set the band just right, it doesn't charge.
2) the battery life on the band is dismal. Without irregular breathing monitoring on- it's about 10-12 hours for me. With it on- 6-8.
3) some nights it's comfortable and I can't really tell I'm wearing it... other nights- nah. It leaves a mark on my forehead, makes the back of my head scratchy and nope- just not loving it on my head. This could cause an insomniac problems they are trying to solve. Unfortunately- those uncomfortable times are the ones that never miss even a second of recording despite a ton of moving. It also leaves an ugly mark on my forehead that takes a bit to go away in the morning.
4) Dreem support is really hard to get a hold of. There is a good warranty on this. I got mine replaced for a bad battery. That was honored which I'm grateful in this time of bad companies. It was like getting a tooth pulled though.
5) no raw data. no API.
6) so far the published studies they tout are all conflict of interest studies (researchers work at, are sponsored by, or are receiving funds from Dreem). None are peer reviewed or objectively validated.
7) frequent missed wake periods recently. I'm unsure if this is due to an update or the autoscoring smoothing the hypnogram out too much erasing wake. This could also be poor autoscoring in general. Without being able to see the edf file I can't tell. I'm hopeful this will change.

Beau produit efficace après la période d'adaptation. Les aides à l'endormissement sont multiples et aident aussi à comprendre sa mécanique. Le gros souci est le dispositif d'ajustement qui est de très mauvaise qualité et se détériore rapidement rendant le bandeau inutilisable. Il est indispensable que vous amélioriez ce point souligné par de nombreux utilisateurs. Et ne dites pas qu'il faut regarder la vidéo parce qu'on n'aurait pas compris comment faire. Le principe est évident mais la qualité n'est pas au rendez vous tout simplement. Étant donné le prix, ce défaut est rédibitoire pour en acquérir un nouveau. Avez vous prévu une amélioration? J'en rachète un immédiatement.
The Dreem two broke on my eighth day
The Dreem two broke on my eighth day. The design is awful, there is an elastic band that is attached to a round piece of velcro that came off. Now I get that this can happen, unfortunately the designers did not account for the face that the most flimsy piece of the headband, the piece that deals with the most movement and is the most susceptible to breaking, is not replaceable. There is no way to change the elastic band in the unit, nor is there any way to replace the velcro. So once a very flimsy piece of elastic breaks you have a very expensive paperweight. I have tried dealing with support and so far the amount of advice they have given me is to ensure that I have my custom declaration forms filled out and to make sure my unit is in the original box it came in. No assistance in assuring me that the customs I have already paid will be forthcoming, so advice on how to fill out the custom forms, and they have been very slow to respond to emails. I am incredibly disappointed with both the quality of their product as well as their support. That being said, while it was able to stay on my head the product was amazing, which just adds to my incredible disappointment that I will not be able to continue to use it, as well as that I wish they would have been more helpful in the return process.
Unfortunately, until they get those two issues figured out I can't recommend anyone buys this product, unless, you are happy with it being a short term product. I do not see how it will last.

J'ai pas mal de recul puisque utilisateur de 2 versions du bandeau, et ma femme est également utilisatrice.
Il y a incontestablement des points positifs, comme l'augmentation de la durée de sommeil profond quand on active l'option stimulation, et surtout une connaissance précise de la durée de chaque cycle de sommeil.
Mais de mon point de vue, ça ne balance pas une impression générale négative : le bandeau est cher, inconfortable, et surtout manque de robustesse (les capteurs tombent en panne en moyenne tous les 2 mois, les délais de réparation très longs, le SAV Dreem est une catastrophe!!). Et puis on peut se poser premièrement la question de la dépendance, et surtout des conséquences à long termes sur notre capacité à dormir : un peu comme l'utilisation d'un complément alimentaire qui comble effectivement une carence mais le corps assisté bien souvent ne produit plus ou n'assimile plus l'élément en carence.
En conclusion, il faut faire attention à ce produit et ne pas succomber au chant des sirènes commerciales (sur ce point Dreem est très fort)

I am very frustrated and sleepy!!!! I was so excited for this headband and willingly turned over my daily life to it. Now I am a month into the program and the nighttime data will no longer download. I have reached out many times and was told they are sending a new headband. I am continuing my sleep deprivation hoping I don’t have to start over. I keep asking for help on how to continue to no avail. I am still waiting for the new one ...Basically they have left me high and dry with no advice in how to continue. By the time I get it I may give up since I don’t know how long to keep the schedule up and I long for some zzzzzz.
