I tried DropChef. The portions are incredibly small, compared to Gousto. They charge instantly once you select choices, yet they say they'll take payment on a certain day. Very hard to cancel, had to contact customer services to get a refund I didn't know I'd made a payment.

Customer services where great sorted it all pretty fast, I wouldn't use again though.

I use Dropchef now & again & I find it great - Good quality ingredients,interesting recipes & excellent delivery.
Easy to pause & restart contract . Excellent response to any queries/ concerns

Giving two stars as they used to be good, customer service is lacking or non existent shall I say. New website is slow and managed to charge me for 4 recipes instead of two. I would say 80% plus of orders with vegetables were almost gone off or gone off - talking mouldy peppers - yes mould.

Ordered Dropchef for Christmas Dinner. Fab! I'm not much of a cook so I decided to take the easier option and pre-oder. The instructions were clear and concise. The ingredients fresh and plentiful. All my guests raved about how nice the meal was (for which I took full credit... sorry Dropchef!). Also, the service was efficient.... clear communication and dilevery. I recieved an email in advance to inform me of all the extras I might need, such as, baking trays, foil, and some basic ingredients, which was a helpful addition. I recieved an email in advance of dilevery with estimated time so I could organise someone to be there. Honestly no complaints. Highly recommend dropchef.

I've used Dropchef for the past year and I love the recipies, convenience and variety. Easy to make.

I tried them for 2 weeks. The ingredients were not great, the recipes bland and tasteless with poor instructions, and the produce was subpar. I would rather have good ingredients sourced outside of Ireland than I would horrible local ingredients.

I started using Dropbox about 4 weeks ago, and I have to say I'm really happy so far. The dishes have all been great and don't take too long to make - which is exactly what I needed. There's a good selection too, so doesn't seem like I'll get tired of it!

Another good thing is that there's very little waste when I'm done cooking. I always hated having to buy more than I needed at the shops - seeing a leek go to waste because I had to buy 2, etc, etc.

The customer support was great too - one dish was missing a couple of items, and they were quick to reply and sorted the issue out.

Would advise if you find it hard to come up with dishes every week (like me) and don't really have the time/energy to go shopping.
