Rundfunkbeitrag (TV tax) in Germany is used to "guarantee" a neutral and politically unbiased public broadcasting media, however DW takes every opportunity to display its leftist inclinations. This translates into TV tax in Germany being a scam.

I have followed this Chanel for more than ten years and loved it. Recently watching DW news feels more like getting a scam call from India. I understand it’s cheaper to higher some Indian journalists for the job but let’s be honest it’s almost impossible to understand what they say. Time to unsubscribe.

DW did an article on the California Super bloom with pictures of people rolling around taking selfies in the flower and off trails trampling the blooms. It is irresponsible to promote these images without an upfront comment about how this behavior can kill the flowers and prevent them from reseeding in the future. When the media puts these pictures out there it validates their behavior and then people think it's OK. These super blooms are a beautiful treasure that people need to witness from the trails. You can get beautiful pictures without destroying the environment. Please be responsible in how you portray environmental issues. Our planet has untold beauty for us to enjoy responsibly and without destroying the beauty we seek.

They distort reality and create a wrong picture of situations. They ignore reality and tell the parts of the story that are convenient for them. They bring down the battle of Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque , Jews and Muslims. shame.

The news are not current or topical. The "editorial pick" is something about a rusty ship in the Red Sea while there is not even a separate category about the world events like Russian/Ukrainian War, Energy Crisis, China tensions, or even climate change e.g. Pakistani floods.

impression that DW is on its last legs. It's a pity,- how often have we to switch it off, long before the end of

I am a British viewer. I find their reporting accurate, I have also seen the other review on this page, The proof of their accuracy is the angering of the Far left and far right. If you anger both sides you are really good at your job.
