Very slow and the website is not working properly, confusing
Shameful public service.
Wow, these reviews really say something about this LA.
We have been trying to get a neighbour’s unlawful window that LBE planning enforcement said was supposed to be sealed up, then was supposed to be unopened and permanently obscured, enforced. A planning application to retain was submitted 16 months ago (!) which we opposed. We have tried several times to speed up the process, been made promises that were never kept for responses. The Assistant Planning Director has pledged that things would be speeded up and that we would be kept informed after our Stage 2 complaint but we have heard nothing in the three months since, despite several follow up emails.
Shameful public service.
Always challenge a penalty charge notice
I am writing this to warn others about the sheer incompetence of Ealing Council’s appeals department. I had to go through the stressful process of appealing a decision regarding a penalty charge notice for driving past a school during closing time.
From start to finish, the council dealt with my case incredibly poorly. Their communication was practically non-existent, they ignored clear evidence, and they dragged the process out unnecessarily. Their website stated that the decision on appeal would be made with 56 days and my appeal was rejected after more than 90 days and I received a further threatening letter
to pay or the charges would increase further.
I decided to take the matter to the Tribunal as Ealing council was clearly demonstrating procedural impropriety and not following the rules it had set. I am pleased to say the adjudicator allowed the appeal and the penalty charge notice was cancelled.
While I am glad the correct outcome was reached, the stress, time, and energy it took to fight their mistakes was unacceptable. Winning the appeal doesn't excuse how badly handled the entire process was. Complete lack of accountability and terrible customer service.
My advice is to always appeal without paying the penalty charge notice as the amount you have to pay within the 14 day period will NOT increase until a decision is made. If the council will not make a decision within 56 days of your appeal take the matter to the Tribunal.
Good luck
Blue badge disaster and shameful
Dear Faduma Mohamed. MAyor
DEar Tony Clements. CHief Executive
I am sending this email to complain in the way the BLUE badge department operate.
I completed the relevant form to apply for blue badge , waited 12 weeks for a response and they requested medical evidence regarding my mobility and condition.
My doctor spent his time writing a letter which is attached and I also sent copy of letter from my physiotherapist (attached) . When I called blue badge office recently I was told I have to wait a further 12 weeks for a response.
Today I received an email stating I have to visit Acton for an independent assessment by an OT/physio on 16 September .
This clearly shows that Ealing council blue badge department do not believe my Doctor nor my physio.
I telephoned them today and explained on that particular day 16 Sep I have an orthopaedic specialist appointment in Windsor regarding all my MRI SCANS and exp rays of my neck and lower back and already had a cortisone injection in my left arm.
I explained I cannot attend and Acton is too far for me to get to independently as my husband has already taken too many days off due to my appointments. Acton is too far for me.
I worked for 50 years and 25 years ago i actually worked in the chief executives office for 2 years and I understand the complaints procedure.
This email isn't intended to yourselves to get a blue badge which I doubt I will now get it as I have made this complaint . I will accept any any decision but my doctor wasted his precious time writing the letter.

Issued an £160 fine for ‘parking on a dropped curb’ and limiting the residents access belonging to the yellow house pictured - this is one of the pictures the council sent, clearly showing I am not parked on the dropped curb, digging their heels in and have said that I can’t appeal?
Bizarre and extortionate, just bleeding money out of people.
Worst website I've experienced in my…
Worst website I've experienced in my entire life, crashes, impossible to navigate, and if you bother trying to call the council they will hang up on you because their lines are full; so getting anything done is a pipedream.
parking ticket
extremely shocking the way their traffic enforcement officers gave me a parking ticket while i was in my car in a really deceitful way. The officer could see i was parked there for a minute and asked him if i was ok to drop my grandparents shopping to them to which he said yes no problem, i parked on their drive way for less than 3 minutes and on my way out he handed me a ticket stating his job was not to give me advice.

Housing department is extremely rude and apathetic. Worst council i’ve ever encountered truly, for people who are not medical professionals, they sure like act as if they know better than you about your medical conditions.
My mother is disabled with a neurological condition as well as depression. They claimed she should just look at life “glass half full”. What profound advice for people struggling with mental health.
Honestly Ealing do better and train your staff to withhold their comments & skepticism
Very concerning experience with this…
My experience with Ealing Council and its temporary accommodation provider has now reached an extremely serious point.
I want to state categorically that I DID NOT cause the damage I am being accused of. I never accessed, occupied or lived in this property. The property is on the third floor and I do not use the lift, particularly the small old commercial lift at this building. I am also a single mother with an infant and I do not travel anywhere without my baby.
This is not something I have suddenly claimed following these allegations. During a previous accommodation suitability review, I was specifically questioned about why I had not personally attended an inspection and why a family member had attended instead. I explained at the time that I do not travel without my infant. This was therefore already documented in previous correspondence and within my housing case before these allegations were ever made.
In fact, I have WhatsApp evidence showing that the provider knew I had never been to this property. I was specifically asked to “come down and check” the property, which itself demonstrates that they were aware I had not been accessing it.
I have now been shown photographs of what appears to be extensive damage to a glass balcony/balustrade. I still do not even know exactly where on the balcony this damage occurred or its full extent. From the videos I have of the property, the balcony appears to be long and shared with neighbouring flats, with sections separated by glass.
The agent referred to the balcony being visible from the stairs, but from the layout I have seen, the relevant balcony area appears to be internal to the structure and not visible in the way described.
I therefore cannot understand how such extensive damage could supposedly have occurred without anybody seeing or hearing anything, particularly with neighbouring properties nearby. I also do not know whether the damage could have originated from another section of the balcony, a neighbouring property, or from someone who accessed the property.
I am also extremely concerned that the provider stated that they did not have a copy of the key and suggested that because I held a key, I must therefore be responsible. Yet photographs were subsequently taken from inside the property. I strongly dispute any suggestion that possession of a key proves that I caused this damage.
I have never caused this damage and there is no evidence that I did. I have never been inside this property. Based on the circumstances known to me, I believe the allegation being made against me is false, and I have serious concerns about how the damage and the allegation arose. I have asked for evidence and explanations.
This comes after my ongoing dispute with Ealing Council regarding my temporary accommodation and the fact that I have been staying elsewhere because I considered the accommodation unsuitable due to being unable to access it and being once again left homeless by Ealing council. With a main duty accepted.
I will not accept responsibility for damage I did not cause. I intend to pursue this through the appropriate legal and complaints processes and to speak publicly about my experience and the allegations that have been made against me.
There is CCTV at the building and clearly probable I wasn't not there.
On top of the fact that the sheltered house I been staying to with my parents their 1 bed flat , has surveillance 24/7 by security guard and CCTV camera which probe where I was during the incident.
I requested to not override or remove any fob key access or CCTV camera record from the agent and I been not responded .
Wich give me suspicion on why upon my request of the date and time when it occured and other details was being refused to disclose to me.
I was been told to not text them anymore.
Wich definitely I won't do it neither done it.
I blocked the provider and forwarded straight to the law firm I appointed approached over two weeks ago due to the fact that Ealing council has left me homeless.
This is THE MOST RUBBISH AND MISMANAGED LBE
This is THE MOST RUBBISH AND MISMANAGED COUNCIL IN UK: EALING COUNCIL
I have a tree on the pavement which is a council maintained tree. This tree is spewing spiders, we have falling branches on our person which is a HSE issue, all kinds of seeds, leaves and bird droppings are all the undesired effects.
Wrote to LBE about seven times, even sent them a pre action letter to take legal action. No reply.
I think all the employees of LBE have DIED and gone to HELL.
Meanwhile for two years we are suffering and suffering.
Branches hanging and children who go to school down the road pass by with serious risk of getting injured with heavy branches.
LBE are you DEAD?
NEVER EVER EVER EVER SEEN MORE…
NEVER EVER EVER EVER SEEN MORE CORRUPTED RATS THAT EALING COUNCIL SCUM HERE IS GODS WRATH TO YOUR CHILDREN AMEN
The worst council in the UK
The worst council in the UK, THEY DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE EMAILS SENT TO THEM.
EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF.I WONDER WHY THEY HAVE ONE STAR.IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NOT STARS AT ALL IF IT WAS UP TO ME.

Penalty charge A010302678
Paid in full.Letter sent confirming this. Two days later another penalty charge for the same infraction 53J. First penalty charge was in Montague Road. This charge is for St Stephen’s Road, same infraction 53J on 17 June.
On 17 June my car, for which you have used the same photos for the first charge, was sitting outside my flat in COLCHESTER. Perhaps you would care to explain just precisely what you think you are doing? I have already emailed and gone on X re this so I suggest you get this sorted out and issue confirmation of payment, again and an apology

The biggest frauds
The biggest frauds, only interested in taking people's money. Have a house that is under a mortgage and was changed to a let. For some reason, Ealing decided to go out of its way to report an issue to the bank, which is now thankfully resolved. You abide by all of the certificates and dumb selective license you now need to rent to a family.
Also, the yellow boxes in the borough are overextended to catch more drivers out, even when they're not blocking other traffic.
Underhand and Sneaky, Greedy Ealing Council
When a council changes the parking regulations in a street, it's normal to either post additional obvious warning signs in the area to alert drivers that they need to be aware; and/or allow contraventions to go with just a warning for the first time an unwitting driver parks incorrectly. Not Ealing Council. Out for money only.
After 10 years of parking in East Churchfield Road, by Acton Park, which was always '1 hour free parking' - I returned to my car a few weeks ago to see a PCN on the windscreen. Confused, I went to check the sign,m which was 6 spaces along from my spot and found the regulations had changed overnight. Same small sign, just now the writing had changed, it was no longer free. Why would I have thought to walk up the road to look at a sign after 10 years?? No warnings anywhere else. Plenty of opportunity to post warning signs at the start of the road or along it. All this was explained in my appeal, photos showing I had parked nowhere near the sign, but NO, Ealing want their money. No consideration made for those who didn't know the regulations had changed, who didn't know that one small sign has been swapped for a new one. Several other cars had tickets that day, so I was not the only one who was totally unaware of the change. Any reasonable council would issue warnings, not PCNs in the first week or so of a change of parking status. But not Greedy Sneaky Ealing.
The Brutal 2021 Closing-Down of the Recycling Site in Stirling Road
For many years there was a Recycle/Waste Management Centre in STIRLING ROAD which is on an Industrial Estate in South Acton. It was very convenient for pedestrian-based users and was open 7 Days a week between 8 am and 4 pm. There were massive Skips there for Garden waste, Wood, Metal, Carpets and a Shed for Clothes and Shoes. There was also a Compactor for Black Bin-liners. Apart from Council income that would have come from the say, the Scrap Metal industry, some unofficial trading with the Public was allowed which benefitted many people and there was a good atmosphere and camaraderie there. Apart from that, items such as Hi-Fi, LPs, Laserjet Printers, Power Tools, Kitchen Sinks, Taps etc, i.e. items which might otherwise have been crushed, went back into re-use by people who continued to make use of them. All this came to a BRUTAL CLOSE DOWN in 2021 accompanied by an absolutely-RIDICULOUS TOTALITATARIAN Crackdown from Pedestrians who just wanted to drop-off a bag of grass cuttings, to the monitoring of all saloon car Registration numbers. Then the site was SHUT. Ostensibly this was to "save money".
Why, I don't know. Possibly the Compactor needed a refit or repair. Perhaps some of the staff could have been cut-back. It was in any case an extremely clean, well-managed and above-all a SAFE site. Rumor had it, that this excuse may well have been a Lie, and that Councillors were salivating about the possibility of selling the Site to a Property Developer for a huge amount....so "to Hell" with the long-suffering Rate Payers! Apparently then, "the Deal" fell-through leaving this Amenity now stripped-bare and totally-closed to the Public for the next 4 years. The Excuse now offered was that a Survey had revealed that Toxic Contamination was present on the Site, which I find hard believe too. The entire area was solid Tarmac and there was no River or a Factory nearby belching out smoke. In fact since the Clean Air Act of 1956 was introduced London's air was transformed almost overnight as Residents were either given free Gas Appliances or offered them at concessionary prices. Interestingly.....and (fast-fowarding to today's ignominious "Angela Rayner" excuses) the Council NEVER PUBLISHED the Report, if it existed AT ALL. So now the Site is very much under-used and only open between 11 am to 2 pm some 3 (or 4?) days a week as the newly-created and somewhat Ideological ACTON RE-CYCLE HUB offering some advice/training on Clothes Repair, Electronics, and offering (presumably for free) left-over paint, school uniforms and compost....in other words a somewhat Tame and WOKE replacement for a site that used to thrive and achieve something significant for the Community. Meanwhile, there is a huge Fly Tip, just opposite the main gate, of Recyclable Cardboard, Paint Tins and Mattresses completely ignored! And to cap that!....one of the first tower blocks to be completed on the corner of Roslin Road, BOOKBINDER COURT has been standing EMPTY for the last 3 years! In the meantime, if I have misconstrued anything in this Report, I am prepared to acknowledge and apologise for any mistakes or wrong conclusions that I may have made.

Although the repair was done and the lady I spoke to was lovely getting through to speak to someone was a nightmare. The whole system needs reviewing to make it easier to actually get through. I don’t know how elderly people manage to navigate the current system.

was living in a house for around 7 years, 4 children and one parent. Council decided to kick us out when we live right next to our school. We asked the council to move us to somewhere close to the school, council ignored us and we had to turn to another council. On my momma and her left toe dont trust this council period
Cruelty and greed, submitting children to rain and cold
Ealing borough is completely disgusting and inhumane. They decided to close Perimead Road to traffic, not allowing the parents to take their children to Perivale school by car anymore. Now children have to walk huge distances in the rain and cold, not to mention the fact that they got many people to pay fines because the signs showed up there suddenly and parents didn't even notice. Don't vote in these people, they are greedy monsters with no humanity, not even towards children. This is of the utmost cruelty.

Ealing is the worst council in the world. They go into people private roads and driveway to giving out parking fines. People needs to vote Labour out of Ealing.
