Great experience and all the required features...

Daniel spent an hour on the phone with me going over the entire program and answering all of my questions before I signed up. I was looking at a few alternative companies to use for my online directory, but with all of the features available with eDirectory.com it simply made sense to go all in and sign up.

Been Using It for A Few Months

Daniel was great at explaining the software and answering any questions that I had. This software is exactly what we were looking for.

EDIT - Signing up was easy and great. But getting help since then has been a bit of a pain. Have to copy Daniel in on everything to get help. Our website is not allowing people to sign up. We are not sure how long this has been going on but it has been two days since we brought it to their attention and it is still not fixed.

I have been with this company for many…

Dear readers, I just want to cry, I spent so much money on this company and on their modules, and my sites do not function normally. Customers will never come to such a poor quality product, you can never run a business.
I have been with this company for many years, but this year I saw the complete lack of professionalism of the support group. In March of this year, I ordered upgrade of the sites for a new version. Additional modules were added about which I warned support group in advance. Tons of emails has been sent. They promised me to transfer and save files, instead -deleted my sites and did not provide the saved data. I have lost over a thousand dollars.
The service is terrible, since March they have not been able to fix errors/bugs, the subscription payment system does not work on sites- never expire. Constantly some kind of breakdown.
List of major breakdowns:
1.images could not be placed in the center, html did not work for about 4-5 months
2.the forum module did not work for about 4 months
3. email alerts notifications did not work for about 4 months, it was impossible to interrogate something to fix
4. The information you see for category wasn't the same on both front and back end - for one month could not reach, no one listened to me, they said at first that everything was in order there.
5.there were many different other problems...

Moreover, I found out that when you buy additional versions, they are partially not translated into another language and company again asked for money for customization, although it was written on the official website (Available in 7 languages) that each language module has its own language. In configurations- Geography and locations possible to write in SEO , meta only in one language, and this will be appear in all your different language versions!!! I asked them improve this part, because site are not fully multilingual, it's not useful if they will run in own site with one language, they asked for that $600 for customization.

The sites don't function normally for a long time and no one from the support fixes it! You pay subscriptions but they don't provide normal support services.
From the user's control panel, the functionality is very poorly organized: participants cannot delete their ads only listing; if a participant has a lot of ads, they are poorly displayed on the control panel, most of them are not visible - it's hard to find out; correspondence/ leads is not designed for a large number of letters, etc. It is very difficult to manage.
The cost of customization in the company is very expensive ( in my opinion) from $ 60 per hour.
They do not know how to admit their mistakes - there are many such cases! I often contacted support and tried to explain the problem by showing it on screenshots and links, in response I received: that it should be so. After sending a huge number of e-mails to consider the breakdown, they finally began to move and do something. This process took from one to four, five months sometime. Few bugs/breakdowns were never repaired since March, now we have September month, many e-mails were sent. I declined payment support service subscriptions, until all problems will be resolved!
I have to sue this company for the damage caused.

Good but improvement needed

Hello,
It has been difficult to get a deep understanding of edirectory technical functionalities. My business partner and I have purchased the product and we're already facing difficulties related to granting admin access.

loved the product overview

We loved the product overview and features. Our account manager was very reactive but not precise in his answers and not very knowledgeable about the product as if he is always following a script.
Now let's start using the software !

Beautiful directory

I just started, and at the moment I'm dealing with the website setup. Manageable dashboard and configuration even if you do not have the experience. However, if the main categories and subcategories were pre-configured were more manageable tasks to deal with the setting. Also, the payments gateway could be more precise, and it can add a one-off payment feature. Moreover, the customers can not manage entire their subscriptions, payments or downgrades, which require additional tasks from the website administrator.
However, dealing with Daniel in the buying process was a pleasure, and he answers all my questions in knowledge.

eDirectory Review

The reason I chose eDirectory over other directory companies was the transparency Daniel and company provided. Any question I had was answered honestly and openly. That tells me eDirectory and company are looking out for my best interests and not simply trying to make a sale.

Great customer service

It was some miscommunication and misunderstanding on both parties but the good thing about that is their customer service was so good everything was fixed. I’m very happy with everything and the way it turned out. I’m excited to take my directory to the next level and across the country with the help of edirectory

The on-boarding and account set up…

The on-boarding and account set up process is fast and seamless. We were able to get the login credential in minutes after payment was made. lots of information and resources on how to navigate the service and application was also provided promptly. We are giving 5 stars based on the service we have received so far.

I was looking for a more professional…

I was looking for a more professional alternative than the database I built myself using WordPress. So far, I am quite impressed. It is probably the best pre-sale experience I had so far: a really reactive sales person, a full demo website where I could get a good idea of what I can expect and a 15min call where I felt confident about what I'll get out of the box and what would need customization.
