I thought ElderCare.com would be a fantastic site because it would connect me with local families if I needed work, being board certified in Florida and bringing many years of professional experience to the mix from hospital to home care I was excited when I received my first connection, so I reached out to the family and when they responded with their number, ElderCare.com cut off the families last four digits of their phone number So I couldn't call them unless I upgraded to premium status And when I tried to call directly through their system It told me I had to upgrade to put the call through, So sorry Linda, the family and I were never able to connect And they probably don't know what happened, other caregiver services don't make the caregivers pay to connect with the families forcing you to take out connection fees

I signed up in hopes to become a blessing to a family and receive the same, however all I ever get is a message here and there from people stating that they urgently need help, but only request text messages And request that you leave text codes. This is weird. No one ever seems to have time to speak. One person requested banking info. Messages are limited. This site doesn't seem at all helpful and appears to have a lot of fraudulent activity. Serious job-seekers do not have time to waste on disappointing messages that never leads to interviews.

One client was a scammer named Justina with a tel. # 343 809- 2477. She gave me an address at 119 Pennyhill Drive Scarborough with a picture of her so called granny that needed help. She's insisting to send me a check and pay right away without even meeting them and when I refused to give my info she said I am not a match. I think the real client account was hacked.

The experience with Elder was so positive. We are so grateful to them for their support in finding carers for our father. One of the carers, Mohammed, was exceptionally good with our father. He was such an attentive carer, so considerate,and got on so well with my Dad; and when visitors would come he would be so hospitable and make them tea or whatever,
and was also diplomatic and respectful about giving the family space when they needed it. My father was always so happy
when he heard that Mo was able to come back after his sabbatical. Mo helped to make our Dad's final days much more bearable and peaceful, he never left his side at the end, and was very communicative with us all. I would wholeheartedly
recommend Mo to anyone looking for a carer; his skills, experience and character are exemplary.

Signed up and paid CA$15+, thinking it will help me communicate with possible clients due to the sites limited correspondence to just 3 between applicant and clients. This only shows its a money making scheme and not really helping both parties in need. Can't even make phone calls as phn numbers are not registered and clients don't really check their messages. And with every email sent to me for notice of New family being selected for me, who are they that we can contact for possible work? Why don't you post who are they so we can immediately make contact. Its not hard to organise for that new post/entry to be on top of the page for nurses and caregivers to see so they don't have to scroll down and see old posts every single time.

Unfortunately my experience with Eldercare has been negative. 3 potential matches. We communicated on line organized a time to greet and meet my parents that they would be working with. One came and was set to start work the next day. Then she never showed up for work. The other 2 employees never showed up for interview. All with no call, no text to say they would not be coming. With 3 employees of this site with the same inconsiderate behavior, I will not be continuing search on the site.

I highly recommend Eldercare. They are very helpful, professional and gave clear, precise information. They answered my queries promptly and concisely. They understood my mum's situation and found the best policy to suit her needs. We took out a policy and it has given our family peace of mind.
