still fighting to get money back after website was not done or approved. I even offered to allow them to fix work we were promised. stay away from them as it is a scam!!!

Prior to your cancellation request over a year ago, a dispute was filed with your bank, and the funds were returned to your account through that process. As a result, there was no remaining balance for us to refund directly.

Customers are finding us

Engage was and continues to be very aggressive in their efforts to promote our company's online presence. Many of our customers are finding us as a local option for service. The ability to draw attention in a market that has bigger budgeted " franchise companies" really levels the playing field for smaller,more personal companies to gain their attention.

They offered a new website and SEO…

They offered a new website and SEO service. We got a new website on their platform but never got the SEO service. After 1 year they started raising the monthly payment without a notification or follow-up. The second year, another price increased. NOT SEO service, NOT Follow up as they promised. They also don't respond on time. 2-5 business days for someone to get back to you.

I started with Engage in November 2025

I started with Engage in November 2025, thinking they would be a professional solution for my business. I was wrong. There is an old saying: "When the head is not right, the tail is out of line," and that describes this company perfectly.
The Technical Nightmare
The biggest issue was their website functionality. During checkout, customers were being charged double and triple the actual price. Naturally, they abandoned their carts. I found numerous "ghost orders" in the back office—sales I lost directly because of their faulty system.
Management & Service
Over the course of four months, I was bounced between two different reps. When I finally escalated the issue to the manager (who I’ll just call "the moron"), things got worse:
• Arrogance over Accountability: Instead of fixing the glitch, he was full of pride.
• Combative Attitude: He spent more time trying to prove how "smart" he was than actually solving the problem.
• Lack of Empathy: They act like they care during the sales pitch, but once there’s a real problem, they turn on you.
Final Verdict
I’ve wasted four months of my life and a significant amount of money on a platform that doesn't work. If you choose to do business with them, I hope and pray you don't run into any technical issues, because they will argue with you rather than help you.
Take your money and your time somewhere else. What liers!

Exceeded expectations in every way

To say that I am impressed with the service we’ve received from Engage would be an understatement. We were searching for a new website design and hosting company after becoming dissatisfied with our previous provider, especially considering we were paying nearly $400 per month for a level of service that didn’t meet expectations.

During our search, we narrowed our list down to a few companies and clearly communicated that we needed a few months to make a decision. Engage was one of the few that respected that request and did not badger us along the way, which immediately set them apart.

When I eventually reached back out, the pricing they offered honestly seemed too good to be true. I assumed there had to be a catch but I can confidently say now that there wasn’t one.

Our account manager, Cassi Mack, has been fantastic! During our initial onboarding call, she took notes on our raw ideas, preferences, and must-haves, and turned them into a new website in under a week, all during the Christmas holidays. She is extremely responsive, and most requested changes or updates are completed and published within a day.

Cassi is professional, friendly, and incredibly patient. We’ve been with Engage for a little over a month now, and I couldn’t be happier with the level of service we’re receiving, especially at a fraction of the cost of their competitors.

I’m sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before signing up with EngageYourBiz.

EngageYourBiz advertised that there was no contract and that services could be canceled at any time. Based on that understanding, I transferred my domain and website to them.

During my time as a customer, I also experienced poor service, including delayed responses and a lack of clear communication, which ultimately contributed to my decision to switch providers.

When I later decided to leave, I was informed only at that point that it would cost $300 to transfer my own domain out. This fee was never clearly disclosed during the sales process or onboarding. Instead, it was introduced after I requested cancellation and justified under a broad clause in their terms, rather than being presented upfront as a specific, clearly stated charge.

I was also repeatedly encouraged to remain on a lower-cost hosting plan instead of transferring my domain, which felt more like pressure than transparency.

Charging $300 to release a domain—something many providers transfer for free or at minimal cost—should be clearly disclosed before a customer signs up.

I recommend that anyone considering EngageYourBiz get written confirmation of all transfer and exit fees, as well as service expectations and response times, before moving their domain.
