Do not use, pure con artists , took van in sept , had to get it returned in December still broke, forced my hand of £6000 , always one problem after another , living 3hrs drive away made it difficult to just nip in so always on the phone to be ignored , reporting to trading standards as this place needs shutting down !!!

Would not touch these with a barge pole.Sent car up not surprisingly found more faults.Eventually got car back fuel injectors faulty then head gasket went after a couple of weeks.”Del” said fuel injectors cause it!! Asked them for vat number at least 3 times as they charged me vat.Disgraceful company,now going to take them to court.Anyone can help would be grateful

Absolute scam artists!

Ordered an engine, they one they sent was shocking.

Been waiting on a refund for 4 weeks now & they continually fob you off. The guy even pretends he's someone else on the phone, worst company I've ever dealt with.

AVOID!!

Avoid avoid avoid. If you wish to be ripped off go ahead. Original quote 1950 price doubled once they stripped down the engine. Long story short la8d the fee and got 600 miles out the van.

Now after about only 8000 miles have had to spend £1600 on the apparently reconditioned engine due to timing chain pully and new head needed, tappits etc
Emailed them but as usual no reply
Check company house. Several company's under engine engineering with slightly different titles
Check trust pilot engineered engines. Obviously another company started up. Just found another company Net Motor Spares
Check the local news papers
In my opinion I would not buy from them as they do not with hold there guarantee policy but make your own mind up

I have to mention Trustpilot as previous review, Trustpilot has removed genuine reviews and allowed the compant to rip off more people, they are also to blame for this fiasco. Please, everyone who has been conned, write to the scottish MPs etc, lets all push for the owner and the staff involved to be jailed and assets taken to pay everyone back, the sales staff knew what they were doing, by defacto, they are guilty as the owner, so is the scottish legal system for allowing them to trade, if anyone has any owner addresses, please name and shame.
Please post full addresses of any staff, we may be able to go after them for compensation or at least get them to answer for what they have done.
Factory has now been cleared out, wonder where they will trade from next

As you can tell these guys need to be in prison. Basically say all the right things up front and seem professional but they are scam artists. I brought an engine with a surcharge attached. Have never seen my surcharge back (£400). Engine arrived with nothing on it, just the block. The warranty is pointless. Engine worked at first but has now completely given up (iron filings on the crankshaft sensor) Have had to scrap the car. £2500 down the pan. May they rot in hell when they get there. Am trying to sue but have just read that they have gone bust so pointless going on. Like another guy said, if you see anything from this address do a goggle earth check as their premises are a breakers yard basically. I say again DO NOT USE

I see a customer called Peter giving a favourable review. is this the same Peter who I have been emailing and telephoning since NOVEMBER 2018 about my engine recondition? Lets hope these cowboys are prevented from starting another business and causing nothing but grief to unsuspecting members of the public.

They’ve gone bust!!! Taken 5k off my garage only last week and had the cheek to charge £150 next day delivery! Never came! Their website states their phones are down, they’re not!! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING!

They provided me with a full job service which included them taking my van and reconditioning the engine at their premises in Glasgow. They did run over schedule though which they did explain about why there was a delay. Collected my van and have had no problems since.

Gave Engine Engineering a call in regards to my Fiat Ducato as I use this for my work and needed it sorted asap. They collected the van and conducted the work and had my van back in no time. Would definitely recommend and would use again

Found them through a website under a different name "National Engines". They claimed to have fitting locations across the country, and since they had a local location I asked about this when speaking to them as they said yes they could collect the car within 48 hours and replacement engine would take 7-10 days.

Was quoted a fixed fee for engine refurb, fitting, and car collection.

Week 1 - I paid upfront as they demand, and after not hearing from them for 2 days, I rang up again to ask about collection. Another 4 days later it was collected.

Week 3 - After two weeks I sent an email chasing up progress, no reply. Another email the following day, no reply. I rang them up to be told gruffly, "It's being worked on".

Week 4 - Monday I rang again, and was told it needed another £1k+ worth of parts. This included parts that needed to be replaced as part of fitting, but not included in their "fitting" cost. OK this wasn't included in the flat fee they quoted, but I paid as I needed the car back. Rang up end of that week, "We're still waiting on parts".

Week 5 - "Engine being fitted tomorrow, should be done Friday". It wasn't done Friday, was asked to ring back next week.

Week 6 - "Yeah Engine being fitted Thursday, should be done Friday". Called on Friday only to be told, "we still need to test it".

Week 7 - "Waiting on road tests but it's too windy", yes really. Oh and at this point they inform me they actually took it 4.5 hours drive away to Glasgow, not the local fitting location we talked about. End of the week, "It's done, and we'll arrange delivery back to you".

Week 8 - Rang chasing for a day when I would be getting it back on Monday, "Still haven't got a date for delivering car back from the driver". Car was finally delivered back on the Wednesday.

On receiving the car back, there's a bracket missing so the engine cover doesn't quite fit correctly, and the air intake plastic tubing wasn't fitted back properly.

Checking Companies House, the owner of the business has multiple similarly named registered companies, all of which are overdue accounts and with proposals to strike the company off the register.

Do not risk using this company.

I would recommend this company as they done my Transit engine and I am very happy with the service

Recently had my Porsche Boxster 2.7 engine reconditioned by this company. There was a bit of a delay with the job but the final result is absolutely first class. They took me through the workshop and I witnessed the stages the engine went through from being in bits to getting rebuilt!! Peter is a great guy who kept me in the loop. Visited last week and got oil and filter changed after having done 1500 miles. Engine going like new!! Would definitely recommend this companies expertise and craftsmanship! Took their time but final result was worth it!!

Received a great reconditioned engine from Engine Engineering, would have like to have been updated more about the progress but no major complaints

I've used these guys to get my Mercedes A-class sorted. It had a seized engine after I drove it into a puddle. 2 days over the timescale, but the job was done and I've done over 5000 miles since. Car runs great with plenty of power :)

had my engine refurbished by engine engineering and very happy with the results. my transit engine is working great now so thanks very much guys.
