My engagement with this company was excellent. When I approached Engineers base consultants last year, my CPEng application was was stuck as I could not address the "additional information" request by the EA assessor. 10 out of the 16 evidence statements that I had submitted to EA were rejected. I was requested to provide new examples as the ones I had provided didn't fully demonstrate I had attained CPEng experience.

I really couldn't see any problem with my evidence statements and therefore I decided to seek assistance from a consultant. I did some online research which landed me to this company. I explained my case to them via email and I received very professional responses; ultimately I decided to hire them.

The advised me to create a client account on their portal and create an order. From there, everything went smoothly starting with service contract signing, uploading the documents, payments etc. I was particularly impressed by their Quality Assurance (QA) system. The documents were thoroughly reviewed and revised excellently before they were delivered to me.

I also had a n issue with 3 competency elements that I couldn't find satisfactory evidence. They helped me to prepare narratives that I attached as supporting evidence for these elements. When I finally submitted the documents, my application went through and I was invited for interview in February 2026.

Right now I am a chartered engineer, which is a huge step in my career. This is why I have taken time here to share my positive experience with this company.

I hired Engineers Base Consultants for my MSA (Migration Skills Assessment) December last year after being referred by a friend who had worked with the company back in 2016.

The company helped me a lot by reviewing my case and giving me professional assistance. They prepared my CDR that I submitted to EA for assessment.
I'm very satisfied with the results as I just received a positive letter from EA.

I'll be relocating to Australia from April this year to work there. Later, I intend to hire same company to help me obtain chartered status.

I recommend this consultant to all engineers who need professional assistance to complete their MSA/Stage 1 assessment or other applications such as CPEng and NER.

My experience was great. I worked with the company during my CDR assessment and I received a positive outcome from Engineers Australia. It took about 4 weeks to complete my CDR under Option B which I felt was my best fit since I didn't have sufficient project details.

Their team (CDR Service) was very cooperative throughout. I also was happy with their QA reviews, but I felt that they took a lot of time to finish. They probably need to shorten the reviewing time. However, I can't complain as I received a high-quality CDR in the end.

I plan to hire the company to work on my NER starting this January 2026. I recommend Engineers Base Consultants to other engineers who need professional services starting with CDR, NER and CPEng.

I'm finally in the National Engineering Register (NER), thanks to the support I received from Engineers Base Consultants. It took time to complete the required documents (expanded CV and self-assessment form), but the results were worth it.

I was referred by a friend who had engaged with the consultant to complete his stage 1 assessment through the CDR pathway last year.

What I liked the most was their QA system in which each stage and document is assessed and revised thoroughly before the final package is delivered. Also, it felt safe to work with the company as they even have a mechanism to submit quality issues/complaints to their two-level QA for a quick action.

Theirs services are also affordable considering the amount of work required to finalise the required documents. With these guys, you don't have to pay full amount to start the order as they allow an installment-based plan.

I am a happy customer. I thank each member who participated in the coordination and preparation of all documents.

After I paid the full amount, I did not hear anything from them and received no response. When they finally replied, they threatened to put my file on hold. I have sent my documents months ago and received nothing in return. I hope everyone will be careful dealing with them. engineersbase.com

It was a long journey with Engineers Base Consultants, but I finally obtained my CPEng status. I started last year with self assessment, then proceeded to the preparation of evidence statements. I appreciate the support they gave me especially for projects that I couldn't find enough evidence. Also, the industry review went smoothly, thanks to the suggestions I received from the team on how to select the reviewers.

When it came to the interview, I was a little concerned because English is not my first language. However, the support I received from the team helped me to organise myself adequately and I was ready within 2 weeks. The interview went well because I had already demonstrated my competencies as an electronics engineer though the evidence statements, documentary evidence, custom narratives and CV.

I therefore recommend the consultant to other engineers who want to get chartered. Maybe one thing I would like them to improve is their response time to messages posted via their portal.

I will refer my friends definitely.

Update: 07 July 2025: After posting my original review below, I received a direct message from someone at EngineersBase asking me to remove the review. The message included language that I found threatening and inappropriate, including references to my career, Engineers Australia, and personal information I had submitted previously. It also implied that any resolution, including a refund, would not proceed unless I took the review down.

I believe it’s important for reviews to reflect real experiences. My original post was factual and based on a service I paid for but never received. I’m sharing this update so others are aware of how the company has responded. I have reported the message to Trustpilot with evidences for review.

07 July 2025, the Review: Around 1.5 years ago, I engaged EngineersBase.com to support with NER, related service.

I paid the full fee upfront — in good faith — expecting a level of professionalism from a site that claims to support engineers with skilled migration documents. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced.

After I paid:
• I received no meaningful updates
• My service was never delivered, despite repeated follow-ups
• Eventually, I was completely ignored — no replies via email, no customer support, no accountability

To this day, the service I paid for remains undelivered. Their communication stopped entirely, and I was left with no recourse but to publicly warn other engineers.

This experience has been deeply disappointing — not just because of the financial loss, but because engineers often turn to such services during life-changing transitions (migration, chartership, job search). Taking advantage of that is not only unethical — it’s exploitative.

Please be cautious if you’re considering EngineersBase. There are legitimate professional services out there — this, sadly, was not one of them.

Last year 2018, I hired Engineers Base Consultants (engineersbase.com) to assist me in preparation of CDR for my Australian PR. Since I had been working with a non-engineering firm, I had no relevant work experience. This was a challenge, but they advised me to base my CDR on academic projects. Also, although I did not have any projects, Engineers Base Team helped me to complete my CDR for ANZSCO 263311: Telecommunications Engineer and I’m happy to have received a positive EA outcome.
I would recommend Engineers Base to engineers who need assistance is preparation of their CDR. The only two challenges I had with them were

1. Their strict procedures where you have to sign a contract during order placement. Download, print, sign, scan and send to them.

2. Also, once raw drafts of your career episodes, summary statement, CPD etc are completed, they cannot give you immediately. You have to wait for the documents to be reviewed and be approved by their QA. However I tend to think that their strict procedures could be the reason why they produce high quality CDRs.

3. They open order registration for a few days and then close for many days. They told me it is because of workload management. So if you want to hire them, you need to wait for the order registration to be open. But they have an option for slot booking which one can use.
