After building up website recognition equity over two decades using Enom, they failed to auto-renew my domain or send an email -- as they had for years -- giving a heads-up on upcoming lapse of renewal, I found my domain taken over by some Indonesian outfit. My email hadn't changed in decades. They offered no excuse or recompense. THE WORST! Switched to GoDaddy - much better.
Very poor support
Like a lot of others, I couldn't log into my account to renew my domain name. The reseller did all she could to try to remedy the problem but had no luck & eNom claims there is nothing they can do to correct it. Personally, I don't think they want to do the job they were hired to do. Fortunately this wasn't a business site or I would have lost money.
Support as terrible as their resellers.
Thanks to one of their completely unresponsive resellers a domain was lost and recovery through Enom support is beyond useless. From initial contact with their online chat, multiple tickets and the issue being 'escalated' to their ownership team... weeks of nothing. Their rating is accurate.

Enom/Tucows is a shady business,unexpected charge
This shady business (Enom, Tucows) has a hidden clause in their TOS allowing them to take away $50 from your account in case it has no domain registrations or transfers in one previous year. They denied to return my money back. I consider this similar to a theft, mainly because they have not notified me prior this to happen. This is significant amount of money in some countries. I am ending with these crooks and suggest everyone to use different domain registar which often offer better domain prices and does not take a week to reply your support request..

eNom has caused a complete nightmare…
eNom has caused a complete nightmare for my small business. Due to reseller/account access issues and extremely slow handling, I was locked out of my domain for months and my business website and primary email were down for months, causing direct financial loss (missed emails, missed work opportunities, inability to access services that require email verification).
What made this worse is the endless loop with customer support. Agents clearly don’t read what you write, don’t follow the case history, and keep asking the same questions over and over (e.g. repeatedly asking what username I want to use) despite me already answering. Nothing moves forward — it’s just circular script-based replies.
On top of that, they demanded notarised proof of ownership which cost time and money to arrange — and even after verification, access still wasn’t restored due to their broken account creation process (CAPTCHA errors).
This is genuinely the most infuriating customer support experience I’ve had in my entire life. Avoid.

They messed up the SSL, went on vacation, and completely stopped responding. When they finally came back, they refused to refund the money — and in the meantime, we had to order a new SSL certificate. Terrible.

The worst customer experience ever
The worst customer experience ever ! Do not ever use this company. Beginning of August my account was hacked and 20 domains was registered, They refused to cancel the transactions, by which i then had my bank reverse the payments. Yesterday two of clients complained their sites were down. Upon which I discover that this company has deactivated my account, due to a chargeback fee for the reversal of the payments, Now I have to pay $59 dollars to get my account back ! They have no moral compass, not mention the worst customer support. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMAPNY OR THIER AFFILIATES !

Absolutely the worst and outdated domain provider! It takes just ages to renew a domain that was expired. During this time our business if fully offline, no emails working, nothing. And the status has been on "processing" more more than 16h already. Nothing changes. No one can do anything. This is just ridiculous. Avoid this company at all cost, rather choose GoDaddy for domains. I will move all our domains away.

Enom transfered accounts to exacthosting. Paid in advance but now Exacthosting not recognizing previous payment.
Update: ExactHosting agreed to honor Enom prepayments and advised me to ignore payment requests. Not sure why billing requests are coming but will ignore!
Avoid Enom
Since Enom took over from Ultradomains, my domain name's annual renewal process has been a hassle. They no longer hold your credit card info so you HAVE to contact customer support to renew. This year’s renewal took several DAYS to resolve and involved having to use a second email address to finally get it done. Do your future self a favor and have someone else host your domain name.

i have my domain there for 20 years. One day i found out that i not getting email to my business address anymore. Email redirect stops working for no reasons and enom support was not able to address the issues for a few days.

j'ai acheté plusieurs noms de domain dont certains sons payer jusqu'en 2029.
J'ai reçu il n'y a qu'un jour qu'il avait bloqué mon compte pour non-activité. Or, je leur ai montré que j'ai payé 16 domaines dont certains vont jusqu'en 2029 donc mes domaines étant actif le compte l'est aussi.
Suite à cela, ils ont débloqué mon compte. Et l'aujourd'hui le recommence malgré avoir promis de ne plus recommencer.
pourquoi enom.com veulent-ils intimider ces clients pour qu'ils soient obligés de commander des renouvellements a 49.95 USD alors que je n'ai pas a renouveler, ils le sont jusqu'en 2029
si vous avez un compte Enom que vous êtes victime de cette fraude unissons nous pour porter plainte contre enom.com devant ICANN et la justice pour fraude intimidation, etc..
Enom, je vous ai prévenu, j'ai un email ou vous vous êtes engage à ne plus me harceler avec votre fraude.
C'est le dernier avertissement.

Registered new account, paid and can't access it no more
I registered as a reseller and paid, but now I can't access my account. I haven't received a reset password email. No response from support 48 hours later. Seems like am scammed.
Not getting better...
I have been with Enom for about 20 years but finally pulled all my domains out. Their support is slow and their pricing is expensive relative to other resellers. Like other reviewers, I was platinum at one point with a few thousand domain names and they set a higher requirement and then demoted me and charged more per domain. Today I waited on hold for support for half an hour and was disconnected. I tried chat and there was just a bot. It said it would connect me to a real live support person but never did.

they just wiped out my balance of 38$ the reason was Reseller Inactivity Fee! I have been their customer for more than 10 years and just this year I encounter this. anyway, I'm glad I transferred my domain to another registrar. They don't update their system and looks old.
