If I could give them 0 stars I would. There are other products out there that do the same as this one. Use one of them. Don’t give these people your money.

First, for an accessibility product it’s ironic their own in-product experience is so bad. The UX/UI experience is one of the worst I’ve seen - effectively making it inaccessible. I could not figure out how to cancel my account. When I finally did, there was nothing that indicated I cancelled my account and wouldn’t continue to be charged. It’s difficult to find what you need in the product. Several times I’ve pressed the wrong buttons. The information is also wrong in the product. Mine says my license was cancelled in March of 2023, but I got charged anyway. That’s why I initially wrote in.

Second, their customer service. Not only is it incredibly slow, but it’s bad. I got called the wrong name when asking for my money back and how to cancel. The instructions they sent me on how to cancel were just a link to an indemnification clause.

Meanwhile I’m still getting charged because I cannot figure it out. Despite requesting them to cancel it they told me they can’t and only I can. Asking in writing to cancel is the equivalent of me cancelling. Yet I continued to get charged because I had to do some settings in my account that (as per what I said above) actually don’t indicate I am cancelling at all.

Now they’re still refusing to refund me for months I was getting charged because they can’t turn off my account when I asked and needed help and couldn’t provide the correct help.

Do not use this company. Literally anything else is better. They will keep your money and not honor cancellation requests.

In my last exchange with customer support they attempted to invalidate my concerns by bragging about having hundreds of thousands of global customers and saying none of them have complained about the UX and that they have great UX. This is not how support should be responding to customer concerns.

Update: After posting this review, several new reviews popped up suddenly - including a second one by someone who reviewed them before. Upon looking many of these positive reviewers up on LinkedIn, you will see they’re employees of the company who are writing fake reviews.

As I am working to pioneer this new field of .... digital accessibility, my interaction with EqualWeb has helped me develop areas of expertise in making websites more wieldy online, incl. for those with .... disabilities.

Best Accessibility Tool for the ADA & WCAG Compliance!
Tried many other apps, and had trouble installation and understanding the process, but with Equalweb, all worked great. It is very easy to implement. Their free Accessibility Checker tool helped us a lot to understand accessibility issues on our website based on WCAG 2.1 compliance requirements. Then with their Automatic Remediation Tool, we easily fixed these issues. As a small business, it was exactly what we were looking for in ensuring accessibility compliance. They've also been very helpful in assisting us customizing things so it meets our site needs. Highly recommended.
