Estarli were very helpful and responsive to my problem. And fixed additional issues on the bike free of charge.
The repair price was very reasonable communication was very good

BEWARE ESTARLI BIKES AND E-VENTURE SHOP IN KESWICK

Having purchased two Estarli 20.8 e-bikes from e-venture after having numerous conversations with the staff at the shop (rather than buying online as we wanted advice),stating quite clearly that the bikes were to be placed on the cycle rack of our campervan and taken to the Outer Hebrides for a two month holiday, we purchased two bikes at £3500.
We eventually took delivery of the bikes a few days before we left, loaded them on the van and started our trip. First day was sunny and a good ride was had. Second day we took the ferry to Barra for a trip south to north on the Hebridean islands only to find, within one or two days after rainfall, many items (nuts and bolts, brakes, parts holding on pedals, rust in the frames,spokes on wheels,) on the bikes had become completely rusty.
As we were away for some time a call was made to Estarli about the rusty items who assured us they would replace all rusty parts, liaising with the shop for them to do the work. This did not happen and the shop were in fact unaware until we returned in early July and approached them. They advised the bikes had rusted due to salt water. We requested a full refund as we felt we had been mis-sold the bikes as they knew what we wanted them for.
We were advised now that the bikes should be covered on the campervan or kept indoors, not allowed to get wet, or if so, cleaned off and dried.. NONE of this information was given prior to purchase and we would not have bought the cycles had we been told, (our previous bikes which were used in the same circumstances for 5 years had no issues whatsoever). We again requested a full refund as we felt we had been mis-sold the bikes as they knew what we wanted them for.
After some to-ing and fro-ing the shop replaced some rusty parts and gave us the bikes back leaving many items still showing rust.. The shop were not prepared to listen to us as occasional cyclers (as are many motorhomers) and were not able to attempt to put themselves in our position although we were supposed accept their comments as very serious cyclists which seems very unfair in the circumstances.
We had only used the cycles for 40 miles or so and have not used them since whilst we try to solve the issue. We asked the shop if they would be prepared to consider arbitration which they have ignored and in fact have made no comments or contact with us for some months, they are merely ignoring us.
We are now nearly a year with two e-bikes sat in our garage and no further forward than on day one when purchased, i.e if we take them out and they get wet they will go rusty.
Please bear this in mind if you are intending to purchase this brand of cycle or using this shop to enhance your campervan holidays, it can cause many headaches!!

I ordered the estarli e20.7 as a Christmas gift for my wife on 7 November 2025 but completion and delivery were delayed due to some vital component shortages, 'thanks to' disruption to global component supply chains (ha-ha NOT bicycle chains, folding frame locking magnets actually) which impacted all UK manufacturers of similar e-bikes. We received our lovely, fully EU/UK Compliant 250 watt, 15.5mph, 7 speed derailieur, 20 inch wheeled EAPC on 5 January 2026. It arrived in the middle of the promised 2 hour delivery window all carefully and professionally packaged in a large rectangular box via DPD Courier. First impressions were great, as it is clearly bulit to a very high standard with top quality components and was very easy to set up in just a few minutes. I took it for a short test ride on a cold January day and was immediately impressed by how everything just worked so smoothly, gear change and speedo and a choice of 5 motor assist levels all absolutely 'spot on' right out of the box. For various unrelated reasons, today 13/04/2026 is the first time I have been able to begin properly evaluating and enjoying riding it, by comparison with two already owned and cherished e-bikes which my wife and I really enjoy riding together, as she had an AD diagnosis in October 2022, but still manages her lovely solid 26 inch wheel, front hub EBCO by 'ghost pedalling' in 4th gear and 3/4 power all the time at about 10 to 12 mph as the Trans X e-drive gently cuts in and out! She has not yet ridden the estarli e 20.7, but I have just taken it out, (whilst she is safely 'still fast asleep' early this morning), for a local trip in the sunshine to deliver a birthday card and gift to a dear friend. OH MY GOODNESS - THE ESTARLI e20.7 IS REALLY EAGER AND ACCELERATES STRONGLY UP TO 15.5 mph IN LESS THAN 5 SECONDS, WHETHER YOU USE THE rapid fire 7 SPEED GEARS OR NOT! I have yet to test it out fully on our 3 local steepest gradients that vary between 8% and 14% but I am already really impressed. This bike is about 5 kg lighter than the EBCO and still has all the accessories namely full mudguards, fully integated lights for night time or dusk time rides, a rear rack and additionally a versatile rear 'picnic and alternative clothing' trunk. Also the swept back 'Dutch' bars are SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE than the usual straight bars. THIS BIKE IS EFFORTLESS TO RIDE AT UP TO 15.5 mph AND WHEN THE EXCELLENT DISC BRAKES ARE FULLY 'BEDDED IN' as per the manufacturers instructions, IT WILL PROBABLY FLY UP TO 20 MPH WHEN REQUIRED, UNDER PURE MANPOWER ALONE! NOT YET FULLY 'RUN IN' WITH ONLY 7 MILES ON THE ODOMETER, IT IS ALREADY A SUPERB ALTERNATIVE TO OUR SMALL FAMILY HATCHBACK. Oh and FINALLY, unliike the 23kg EBCO, it is a FOLDING bike, so can more easily, be carried 'on family holidays' in the rear of our 4 metre long, 5 door hatchback with or without either or both of the 60:40 split rear seats down. A TRULY 'WIN WIN' SITUATION AS THE ORANGE MAN WOULD CALL!

The best bike I have ever had.
Estarli e28.x with sit up handlebars, suspension fork, and a cycle company suspension seat post.

A really comfortable bike with more than enough power for hills. I commute to work along a bumpy cycle path and the suspension has really helped.

Received paint touch up and it is as ordered. My only comment is that it took a long time to be delivered.

My estarli had an issue with battery and controller, while the service was delayed when it was issued the issue was promptly resolved once the package arrived.

Initially, I'm very pleased with the purchase of a 28.X .......
A few technical questions regarding the belt drive were swiftly answered in a telephone conversation. Very early delivery after placing the order, good delivery and packaging(front mudguard required a slight realignment), good quality recognised components on the bike plus a generous tool kit for assembly (though I would have appreciated a paper copy of assembly instructions). Time will tell regarding reliability, spares availability and customer care.

Friendly and helpful customer service staff. Instructions would have been useful. I had to ring to find out what to do.

The bike itself is fine but the customer service is atrocious.

It takes multiple prompting to get them to say anything, they lie about times, and charge an enormous repair fee which just feels like they're holding things ransom.

I submitted a query about replacing a stolen item from our Estarli longtail cargo bike. This was answered quickly and helpfully and the missing item was supplied to the bike shop. Really good service.

Leisure cycles gave us room to view and trial the 20.7. Also I asked for a couple of accessories of which were added without fuss.
